Horrible lack of respect for the elderly!!!! Changed a long term prescription (antibiotic) my mother had been on for years!! As a result was hospitalized and had a subsequent amputation due to infection! She should not have a medical license!! She cares very little about the patient!! Can’t understand the long term affects of her actions!! Don’t see her! RUN

My experience with Dr. Desai at the FPCA was HORRIBLE. She is like a drill sergeant giving orders with no compassion for the patient. In 30 minutes she undid long-term, absolutely effective treatments leaving me at a loss of words and without a doctor. Unfortunately for FPCA, I've moved on after a wonderful 30-year association.

Dr. Desai is extremely thorough and easy to talk to. I had been with the same doctor for over 30 years. After she retired, I began seeing Dr. Desai. I was very pleased. She was willing to change old medicine that wasn’t really helping me, and she explained everything.

I absolutely love and trust Dr. Desai. Each time I visit, she takes time to not only address current concerns but revisit old concerns to ensure they were resolved. She listens thoroughly, asks pertinent questions, and makes sure I'm aware of potential costs and options before going ahead with treatment. She is also very accessible should I ever need to call with questions.

While she may be knowledgeable in certain areas, she demonstrated an utter lack of respect for my health concerns and attempted to change a prescription I've been on for years without even discussing it with me. When I voiced my concerns, she accused me of being "rude" and explained that she had taken time out of her "busy schedule to send in my prescription." Worst beside manner.

I started seeing Dr. Desai a year ago after moving to the area. I found her to be extremely interested in all my health issues, easy to talk to and knowledgable about treatment for diabetes II - I felt like she cared about me as a person as well as a patient and would strongly recommend her to anyone considering a primary care physician.
