Dr. Hensel seemed knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I did not feel rushed during my appointment; she was thorough, asked questions, and answered my questions. I am planning to go back to her as my PCP.

Literally one of the worst medical experiences I've had. I sought out help for extreme fatigue. Hypothyroidism runs in my family among a lot of other things. After a long explanation that 100 years ago my concerns wouldn't have been an issues, since people didn't live as long and weren't as concerned with quality of life, she told me to "take a nap" instead of listening to the changes I was feeling in my body. When I asked about gastrointestinal issues she told me to take miralax every day and sent me on my way ( obviously that wasn't the answer I was looking for). Less than a year later another doctor finally believed me, and sure enough I was full blown hypothyroid by then. If you want someone that practices medicine like they are from the dark ages then sure, make an appointment. If you want someone who understands that you may actually have the slightest idea what's going on in your body, and furthermore that you deserve to have moder medical care, steer clear. Highly recommend Dr. Hensel. She saw me promptly, diagnosed me in a clear and kind way, treated the discomfort, and I am very grateful to have found her.

Very attentive, replied all of my questions about exams and vaccines. Excellent doctor.

She is very proactive. I sense that she knew my chart well as a new patient 5 years ago. I think she is advanced and will always look for the best medications for a more natural approach. I honestly think she takes things one step further to help because she truly cares.

represents all the things wrong with modern doctors. doesn't look at you; only looks at computer screen while typing away; only wants to shove pills at you; never met an expensive test she didn't like; afraid to make diagnoses by herself.

Absolutely awful. Didn’t ask questions, didn’t answer questions. When asked about CBD responded “marijuana is a gateway drug.” Avoid like the plague.

I have been a patient of Dr Hensel for 2 years. I have been very happy with her as my PCP. She is accessible and attentive to my medical needs.

Not impressed. I was a new patient to the practice and was not asked very basic questions that should be a part of every history and physical exam, especially for a brand new patient. She never asked what medical conditions run in my family, if I have ever been hospitalized or had any surgeries, etc. As for the issues that I voluntarily brought up, she never asked questions such as how long they've been going on for, what treatments have been tried, what has worked, what has not, etc. Not impressed. I came in without an appointment at the very end of the Saturday clinic. Dr. Hensel was walking out the door but when she saw me, she turned around and took me into her office and gave me the best care possible without hurrying me and she was happy to do it.

She took the time to get to the bottom of my complaints and referred me to the right specialists. She replies promptly to emailed questions. I can always find an appointment open when I need it.
