I’ve had two surgeries by Dr. Zhu, neither one successful for the sciatic nerve pain/numbness down my leg. Unless Dr. Zhu is prepping you for an operation or actually doing the operation, he doesn’t have time for you. Post-op care is almost non-existent, they could care less and you’ll probably have to call and schedule your own post-op appointments as they very rarely (if ever) reach out to you. Also best of luck to anyone trying to contact this office, get paperwork to or from this office, getting an actual human being on the phone, or getting a call back or response from any emails or voicemails you might leave….I only gave them 1 star because you can’t give them a 0. Avoid back surgery in general, but if the time comes it HAS to happen, make sure you get your opinions AND operations elsewhere. 10-28-2021 Update: I finally saw Dr. Zhu on 9-9-2021 again for my post-op/post PT appointment. He was “disappointed” in my results (poor guy), asked if I’d ever considered an ankle/leg brace for my leg (dead sciatic nerve at this point). After $250,000 + in two surgeries, and I’m shopping for an ankle brace at Walmart…why didn’t I think of that in the first place? His next step was to get an EKG on my sciatic nerve. I’ve been waiting for almost two months for this referral and no one has called, reached out, or scheduled the nerve testing appointment. I regret wasting my time and money. Dr Wylie H. Zhu cant even follow thru with sending a referral been waiting 4 months and still cant get anything done

My 84 year old mother in law broke her neck in February 2020. Dr. Zhu was very patient and caring and went through every non surgical procedure before having to perform a neck fusion in August. She recovered fully and her neck is stable again. Dr. Zhu is very considerate and emphasizes especially with elderly patients.

I went to another neurosurgeon,first that did not want to help,after years of back pain my first visit he noticed that my l5 was compromised an he did the surgery btw I suffer from degerative disc disease my l5 no longer has me in such crippling pain and his bed side manner is awsome ,recently he did my c2 -c6 after complaining about very bad neck pain I found out that they were sevearal bone spurs and that I could be paralyzed if there was any accidents to my neck he scheduled the surgery and I'm at 1 month recovery he is the greatest thing and even my primary care doctor said so an I am in a small town thank you to Dr. Zhu an his team I would highly recommend him I went to another neurosurgeon,first that did not want to help,after years of back pain my first visit he noticed that my l5 was compromised an he did the surgery btw I suffer from degerative disc disease my l5 no longer has me in such … More

He Is the best I've had 2 surgery's in 3 years and they have helped me Alot our joke is he's given me 2 birthday presents a new back in September 2017 an a new neck in September 2020 thanks Dr. Zhu

I went to Dr Zhu after experiencing nerve pain in my arms due to a disc problem in my neck. He asked me why I was there. He also suggest I try yoga and acupuncture to relieve the pain. It was clear he did not want to help me. He only saw me twice of which I waited 3 hours to see him crying in pain. I now have another surgeon that cares about my neck problem. The office was amazing and everyone was friendly as knew what they were doing!

Dr. Zhu is the best! In Aug. 10, 2015, my daughter Katrina had a tumor ruptured in her cerebellum. Dr. Zhu did an emergency operation. He resected Katrina's tumor despite of the messiness the tumor and brains have left after it had exploded inside her skull, even though he had no time for an MRI due to the emergency. The result was a successful surgery. Even my daughter's oncologist said that he did an amazing job in resecting her tumor. It has been 3 years now and I still remember the words I had told him. I said, "please save my daughter...she's my only child". At that moment, all I could do was to trust Dr. Zhu and pray that God would guide him. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Zhu for saving my daughter's life! (P.S. I have never given a 5 Star review to anyone.) Dr. Zhu is the best! Dr. Zhu has been great so far and hes doing my surgery on Aug.22nd so Im praying for great results!

I had back infusion surgery on March 6th after seven days I was able to walk. I am in my 3rd week with no pain. Dr. Zhu did an Awesome job
