Dr. William Douglas Zweig

This man truly knows his s@$t! He explains and includes you in the findings of your condition. He is very knowledgeable and wants to make sure that you are informed when you leave his office. I think that he is a very compassionate man and on his toes when it comes to medicine. He can tell when a person is trying to bamboozle him. He's told me this before. (LOL) He's a keeper!

I do not know what the person below is saying in regards to being evil. Obviously that person is a complete idiot as he is one of the best pulmonary doctors in STL. He is brilliant and saved my life. If he had not been treating me I would have died. I was told this by several doctors at the hospital that he was the one that saved me. The person who said he was evil is obviously a complete imbecile and probably should've died and helped the human species. This man has my eternal gratitude and God has blessed him. Shame on the person who said he was evil and may God have mercy on the ungrateful jerk below. Dr. Zweig is amazing and I hope to meet him again so I may thank him abundantly.

This man is the epitome of evil ! I was diagnosed with Covid pneumonia in Nov of 20 and was hospitalized in the ICU for 3 weeks at progress west in lake St.Louis. 2 times this man barged into my room threatening me that if I did not do as he said I was going to die and never see my children again. To summarize briefly what happened he was over inflating my lungs with a horrible machine called a Bipap. Ultimately through his directions this machine actually tore a hole in my lung aka a pneumothorax. He insisted I keep the mask on around the clock and I refused because I knew it was hurting me. This man William Zweig is a menace to medicine. He was yelling at me so loudly a nurse had to come in and physically remove him from my room. 1 star is not low enough for this human piece of waste. It's been 3 months now. I did not listen to him. I did not die and I am with my children.

This man is the meanest most aggresive "Doctor" I have ever encountered. I was hospitalized in the ICU at Progress West for Pneumonia. This evil man burst into my room two seperate times at 6:30 in the morning yelling at me almost incoherently about the room being at 21% something something something and that if I dont do exactly what he says I WILL DIE and never see my kids again. I was awoken, stunned and shocked by what he was saying. I had no idea what he was talking about. I had never met this man before this moment. They were using a machine on me called a BIPAP. A machine that fills your lungs with an ungodly amount of air. He was yelling at me for loosening the BIPAP because I had been on it all night and it was extremely painful. The second time he burst into my room ewas the exact same experience. Zweig is an extremely evil aggressive horrible person. Who should lose his medical license and never be allowed to practice again. To finish, the day after Zweig sadistically warned me to keep my mask on or I would die. A different doctor rushed in the next morning telling me to take my mask off immediately as I had developed a pneumothorax ( a tear in my lungs ) from the BIPAP forcing to much air in my lungs basically popping my lung like an over inflated balloon. Zweig if you read this now that I am healthy. I hope to see you one day so we can "talk" about how you treated me and threatened to never see my kids again if I didnt do exactly what you said. Which turns out had I left that machine on like you insisted. You would have killed me. You are a disgrace to doctors everywhere. 1 star is too high of a review for you.

He is a great doctor and explained my lung problem in a way I understood.

The best doctor around !! This very special doctor has taken care of MANY of my family members . He is brilliant , kind , compassionate, and relentless when it comes to caring for his patients. He treats his patients like they are his own family. Would never go wrong letting this man care for you or your loved ones !! Not enough words to express our gratitude to the good Lord for putting this man in his position !!! He has a special place in heaven waiting !! God bless !!!

Dr. Zweig is very compassionate. I do not know what this other person was talking about. He was very caring and took time to explain everything to me. He has been caring for me for almost 30 years and is always up to date on treatments. He took care of my mother when she had cancer and i would trust no one else with her health.
