Dr. William M. Young

My husband went to Dr. Young. He was prescribed medication that isn’t covered with our insurance and my husband tried to call back 3 or 4 times and they never called back. Then his primary doctor tried to call them too and they never responded to her either. Totally horrible office management obviously. Then this Dr. Young’s office called this morning(2-8-2023) wanting to do a follow up and we were like what for? He never followed up by even having his office return the call to my husband from the first appointment and now they want new labs and all lol! What a joke. If they can’t even return a phone call when there is a problem with the prescription the first time, why in the world would we go back? Husband is going to ask his primary for a different referral. No faith in Dr. Young or his office.

Dr was awesome! Made me feel comfortable and was a nice guy.

Wonderful dr! Takes the time to listen to and answer my questions in a way I can understand. Kind but doesn't surgar coat results with me. Office staff is also wonderful. Very on top of insurance issues and scheduling. Total opposite of another office I have had to deal with. I truly appreciate their efforts and professionalism!

BUTCHER SHOP!! It wouldn't let me do NO stars. That is what I would compare them to. Waited in lobby 45 minutes to have stent removed. Watched people come in after me and go back. Nurse ripped the stent out of me. Hurt so bad it made me cry. Called up in severe pain begging for something to stop the pain. They wouldn't give me anything to help, told me I could go to ER. I felt like I was in one of those movies where they perform illegal abortions and they end up in all that pain. I hurt so bad they should have their license pulled!! Dr. Young has been my urologist for the past 20 years. I have had chronic kidney stones during this time. Since I have only passed a few small stones ONCE and I have had six surgeries to manually remove them I asked him to refer me to someone who could figure out what has been causing them. He then asked if I wanted to do a test to determine the cause...that would have been great about 3 surges ago. Also very charming until questioned about your treatment, then he becomes quite nasty. There are 18 people in the waiting room. It would appear they make appointments with no intention of keeping them. Just pack everyone in and get to them when they get to them. So far it has been 30 minutes, but I'm guessing it will be at least an hour. He may be a great doctor but if you don't respect anyone's time you're certainly not getting mine. Dr. Young saved my life! He removed my left kidney using hand port assisted surgery. He spent hours in surgery cleaning out all the infection a doctor in North Carolina caused. My kidney had crystallized against the muscle in my back. He is an excellent doctor. He is my hero!

Dr Young is the best!

Dr. Young has been my dr for several years. I thought so much of him but the last visit I had was awful. I will no longer use this doctor. I spent over an hour waiting on him and he spends less than 5 minutes with me and made me feel like I was a waste of his time. I have been very sick over the last few years and spent time in ICU over his neglect. Everyone told me to get a new doctor but I stuck with him. I am now looking for a dr that will help me with my illness.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Dr Young. I had previously gone top a different urologist who after scaring me with the possibility of prostrate cancer scheduled me for a prostrate biopsy. I was not happy with the other Doctor or his practice so I went to see Dr Young who correctly diagnosed my problem as a prostrate infection. I was given a corse of antibiotics and was back to normal.

I've been seeing Dr Young since another urologist failed to repair my bladder on 3 separate occasions. He's never once treated me like I was crazy unlike the other Dr. He made sure that I was able to live my everyday life comfortably and has set me up with another Dr to confirm my diagnosis. His office is fantastic and never makes me feel like just another paycheck.

It's not like going to the Dr., more like going to visit friends. Dr. Young has kept me here to live another day, on two different occasions. Great Dr. ,Great Man.

I really like Dr. Young. He is personable and easy to talk to. He doesn't rush you out. His staff and nurses are awesome! I can't say enough good things about him.

Went to Dr young for check up he found a spot on my left kidney,checked it out and it was cancer,he did surgery on me and everything is fine,he is a great doctor,would recommend him to anyone,he cares,has concerns.makes sure you keep your health exams at the right times.

Dr Young is absolutely the best De I have ever been to. Competent, caring, compassionate, very easy to talk to. Seems genuinely concerned about my well being.
