This dentist may be fine for dental services, but don't expect him to stand behind a dental device he sells you. We had been patients with Dr. Watkins for years. I asked Dr. Watkins to custom-fit me for a TMJ device to replace an old one, which he happily obliged (for a $500 charge). The device broke within a month, but Dr. Watkins refused to get involved to get me a replacement. I had to locate the lab and deal with them myself (they were across the country so it was no easy feat) to get a replacement. I then tried to recover the replacement cost + shipping charges from my credit card's product warranty insurance. The insurance company required a fee breakdown from the dentist, to show the original service fee vs. product (the TMJ device) charge. Again Dr. Watkins refused to provide a breakdown of the $500 he charged me, saying in an email that I should "give it a rest - it's only $75". A dentist who doesn't stand behind his products and thinks patients' money isn't worth his time is not someone I would go back to. Very nice and clean place, super friendly staff, Dental higenist Lorena Salazar it's so professional and she did an amazing job on my deep cleaning, I'm so happy that I've found this place, best dental office were I've ever been.

I’m so glad I finally found a great Dentist in the Bay Area, I moved to this area a few months ago and I had terrible experiences with Dentists acting like a Sales Person. Dr. Watkins is not a Sales Person, you can call him as a Dentist! Really professional, he’ll explain to you everything you need to know before any dental treatment. Plus, his staff is competent and friendly. I had several crowns that my previous dentist had done over the years with gaps between my teeth which were causing problems with my gums because food would get caught in them. Dr. Watkins replaced the problem old crowns with high quality zirconia crowns that fit perfectly. His price was very reasonable too! No more sore gums! I have been going to Dr Watkins for 12 years...the finest there is. Seriously, top notch care in every way and I drive further because of the great staff and attention to detail and comfort they all provide.

My 79-year-old mother had a cavity and needed it filled before the end of the year, which was a few days away. Dr. Watkins was able to fill her cavity on New Year's Eve. He is friendly, kind, and personable. He was concerned with doing decent dental work because he believed a root canal may be needed, but he wasn't certain. He filled the cavity and my mother has no pain now. She may not need a root canal after all. Thank you Dr. Watkins.
