I can not say enough good things about Dr. Wyk, and all of the staff that surrounds him. I truly think I found one of the greatest gems in Fort Worth, and without a doubt had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a medical establishment visiting his office. Dr. Wyk is one of the kindest, most gentle and intelligent doctors I’ve ever met, and he treated me with so much care and compassion. His office staff was incredibly friendly and got me an appointment in record time, and he was able to turn a procedure I had previously feared into such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I can confidently say that he is the best at what he does and I could not give a higher recommendation for a surgeon of his kind. I would give 1000 stars if I could!

Best doctor ever!! He helped me so much. I'm no longer in pain from carpal tunnel. Best staff ever!! Very patient and answered all my questions and called me the next day after each surgery to check on me. Dr. Performed formed surgery on both my wrists. He is wonderful. Thank you Doctor and staff. I have known Dr. Van Wyk for many years and have been treated by him several times, and have come to appreciate his office staff for their efficiency, friendliness, and helpfulness. He is an excellent surgeon, diagnostician, and very efficient in surgery. He knows exactly what needs to be done, and does it.

Many years ago I had a trigger finger on my left hand. Dr. van Wyk operated on it and it is fine to this day. His nurses were very thoughtful and encouraging.

The people you employ for your office are a reflection of you as a physician. Although Dr. Van Wyk was able to repair my fractured finger. I would never recommend anyone to come here ever. Not only do they make you wait almost an hour to get called back to get seen for a simple follow up. the billing office "manager" Angie and their front desk lady Danielle are 2 of the WORST people I have ever met and have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I work for a childrens hospital and I would never in a million years speak to a patient the way they have spoken to me. If you have any private insurance, you can forget about a simple copay or co ins. they will charge whatever they want and want everything paid in life before ever being seen or before even contacting your insurance for accurate amounts of payment. I am currently owed a close to a 1000 refund from my surgery JUST because the billing is so off and done very poorly. I showed the office statements from Aetna showing how much the allowed amount should have been and tried to show them they were wrong and this could have been prevented. Currently I am calling everyday to get an update on my refund and im being avoided by angie ( the "office" manager" and Danielle declining/ hanging up the phone when I call for an update or to speak to manager. whats makes this worse? the ladies told the Dr. how I was questioning their work and my concerns and all he did was laugh and brush it off. please save yourself the headache and stress and do not come here, this office is sketchy.

I took my son 2 times and waited over 1.5 hours ea time. The second time I asked to have 1st appt so I wouldn’t wait so long. Did not help. I’m private pay and was pre billed for X-rays that were never taken. Asked to have the money returned but was told the doctor needs to put in his charges and it could take a while. I paid over $300 for 2 10 min visits. The doc did nothing for us except FINALLY read an X-ray disc that I provided 9 days prior to the 2nd visit. No respect for patients time.

This man reviewed records and images that I sent him within 2 days and then called me and spoke with me for nearly an hour about my complex situation, providing free advice based upon his extensive experience despite my offers to pay for an office visit. He had even investigated with colleagues about my situation prior talking to me. I can't thank him enough for his time, research, honesty and compassion.

Really like a Dr. with personally not to mention very competent.

I had to schedule my surgery 2 months in advance because of my work schedule. The first of many calls the DAY BEFORE I owed almost 2 grand to the surgical center. Later that day received yet another call informing me that my insurance wasn't covering it. WHAT KIND OF DOCTORS OFFICE WAITS UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE TO GET A HOLD OF AN INSURANCE COMPANY? Now awaiting refund, and every time I tall to the office there's always an excuse, but they sure wasted no time taking my money. I do NOT trust them.

Dr.Van Wyk is very straight forward and tells you exactly what needs to be done to correct your problem. He is very professional, knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Had to wait more than an hour past every appointment time. Dr. Van Wyk made me feel very rushed. Before I was finished asking questions, he was packing up his laptop to go to his next patient. The surgery only helped about 50%. Not sure if this is because of him or something else, but I don't plan on going back to see him. His insurance biller overcharged me $500 and doesn't understand deductibles and patient responsibility. Still trying to settle this. Nobody needs this kind of aggravation.

Dr Van Wyk brought the diagnosis and treatment down to lay men's knowledge. He has performed hand surgeries on two family members several times over 20 years for several different accident related injuries and we have been very pleased.
