Dr. William Tsai

Have been going to Dr Tsai since 2017, after moving from Redlands area. He was very helpful in relieving pain due metatarsal cartilage damage from other Dr's in Redlands not treating this issue properly. They only wanted to do surgery, after 4 surgeries, alcohol injection between toes & still no relief, I should have realized, they weren't in the business of treating pain only inflecting pain. Dr Tsai changed my life.

I rarely write reviews on the internet, but this is too much to accept it .I had really bad experience with this rude and unprofessional receptionists that work at Dr.Tsai office today by phone regarding trying to make my mother appointment as a new patient ASAP because of her health condition. I decided to choose Dr.Tsai for my mother at this new county because one of his friend refer to me but I am so disappointed that his office has these kind of unprofessional receptionists working that makes Dr.Tsai look bad from this reviews.My mom needs to see Dr. As soon as possible in regarding to her condition and medicine that she needs to be changed and recheck from new Dr. I explained my mom situation and the reasons why . They still not willing to find any solutions or even trying to help me at all besides saying only one month from now on the 12 is available for new patient that's all.It sounds rude and they don't care how urgent it is for my mom even I am trying to explain, .I can't believe it that they hang up on me two times.These kinds of behaviors are not acceptable for a patient that need their help so badly. I also chose Dr.Tsai for my father as well before but now I have no choice besides to find others Dr. for my parents due to this bad experiences that I have never had before with others Dr. office. I don't recommend this Dr. If these kinds of people are working for him. A good doctor with unprofessional staff. He’s my hometown doctor. I love the interaction with him. He’s sharp, quick and direct; a very exceptional individual. However, the staffs are NOT on the same page. I have a medical condition that needs to be treated immediately. In my last video call with Dr. Tsai, he agreed to refer me to a specialist. It took his staff 2 months to get me the referral and there is another 5 month’s long wait to get to see the specialist. I called the office staff multiple times in hopes of being redirected to a different specialist which is accepting my insurance too. First time, the staff was able to locate the specialist but the request needed to be resubmitted so I need to wait another 2 weeks for the approval. I happened to speak with my insurance a couple of weeks after and found out nothing was submitted. I followed up with Dr. Tsai’s office again and was told that the new specialist can’t be located on their network, so I started going back and forth between the new specialist and Dr. Tsai’s office trying to find out what’s going on. The new specialist said they have received referrals from Dr. Tsai’s office in the past. When I went back to Dr. Tsai’s office with the same info. the staff finally ran out her patience and said they can tell you whatever they want but it’s not my job to help you search a specialist and we are quite busy here. She then continued to say that normally the specialists are selected by the insurance NOT Dr. Tsai, so if you wanted to change a specialist call your insurance company for help. When I called my insurance company and the agent invested her time to investigate the whole referral thing and found out that the specialist was referred by Dr. Tsai’s office. It’s been 5 months already and I haven’t been able to see a specialist and get my condition treated. This is not the first time; similar experience with the other referral too. No one likes to waste time on writing this kind of stuff. So, Yes what the staff did is unacceptable especially when the patient’s life is depending on you and the patient is crying for help. She decided to escalade the situation with the unprofessional response instead of investing a little more of her patience and being productive and de-escalading the situation. I was finally able to get help from my insurance company and I'm switching to a different primary doctor too. Again, Dr. Tsai is good but the staff can’t be depended on. Dr. Tsai is most definitely an attentive physician. He gets the 4 stars. The one on one care he provides his patients is sincere, his practice of medicine genuine for the good of what's needed for each individual. On the flip side - as a patient since almost the beginning of Dr. Tsai's practice, have seen the many changes in staff. Truly, w/out hesitation can say I miss his previous Office Manager. Rating most of the new front office staff as just adequate, one in particular interrupts a lot, gives incomplete information, doesn't realize where she's dropped the ball until you request multiple times for her to dig deeper - which, could cause you multiple phone calls to get resolve on the treatment you need. If it wasn't for this issue - 4 stars would actually be a 5 star rating.

God Bless you Dr. Tsai for setting up Hospice for my bf with liver failure. I know you won't forget him. He was 45 and you were the only Doctor who stepped up to help out with Setting up Hospice so he could go with God at home. I will never forget you.

Great Dr and staff

I've been seeing Dr tsai for a few years now he's a very good doctor listens to what you have to say does whatever he can to help you get better his nurses are very nice and helpful I recommend this doctor for anyone

Staff is awful.

Not good , especially feel bad with his stuff .

I have been a patient of Dr. Tsai for many years and have overlooked the things that I felt were sub par. However, my experience with the staff employed by Dr. Tsai has been very disheartening. Upon calling to schedule a much needed appointment I was met with many questions that should have been on file. After answering all the questions I was set for a 2 week out appointment, I explained that have been in pain for a few days and to wait that long for an appointment was unacceptable.

Dr. Has always put my health in front, he listens and tries to find ways to improve my health and concerns, he needs help in the front staff. Referral although have improved are sometimes vey long. I recommended, Dr, Tsai he is an excellent caring Dr.

It's always a pleasant visit at this clinic. The front office staff and doctors make you feel welcome and are always willing to answer all your questions.

I have had Dr. Tsai for over 4 years and he is AWESOME! He's a great listener and takes me seriously! He's educated and knows his medical knowledge! He's kind, professional, and thorough. He refers you to the best specialist when needed, and they too are educated well in medical knowledge. I am ever so grateful for Dr. Tsai, the best primary physician I have ever had! Dr. Tsai is a good doctor, who always makes efforts to keep his patients in good health. Reading the previous review, perhaps as patients we need to understand that everyone has to learn at some point and a doctor who is willing to take on students is someone interested in the future of healthcare. I have seen Dr. Tsai for 7 years and he has always tried very hard to keep me healthy. I would recommend him to anyone.

I recommend Dr. Tsai to everyone. My whole family goes to him.

I tell everyone what a good doctor he is. I have friends and family that go to him. I like the fact that he comes in puts your file down and talks to you. He listens to everything you have to say. That means a lot to me.

Not sure if he still does, but he had trainee doctors shadowing him which made wait time longer, one on one with him was lost, had to explain medical history to the TDs, and felt like a guinea pig. He wrote a reoccurring prescription wrong at least 3 different times and another time staff mixed up my info with another patient, which created a big problem for him. It's sad because Tsai and office staff were friendly and really listened, but their mistakes put me through too much stress.

I've been with Dr. Tsai since 2001. No regrets. Nothing but the best. I left due to a move but I couldn't return due to my limit on mile radius per the insurance policies. But I'm back now living in the Orange County area and am able to return to him. Very blessed and excited.

The women in the office are very friendly, however I waited for over an hour and a half to be seen with an appointment. I also had some lab work done but had to call three times to speak with the doctor about the results. I have yet to be contacted. I will be looking for another doctor soon.
