Thompson has a great bedside manner. He's friendly and informative. He can even laugh! The man is good at what he does and is very confident without the ego and attitude of many of TOCs doctors. He inspires confidence and made me relax knowing I was in good hands.

My wife and I can’t give TOC enough credit. We both have had surgeries done with them. The doctors, the P.A.,s and the staff are the best. We will continue to do business with them.

Over the past few years, Dr. Thompson has replaced both of my shoulders. Both life altering surgeries. I am pain-free now, sleep through the night like a baby, and could not be happier with the service I received.

I was very concerned about my shoulder I have a frozen shoulder been in pain for almost a year and he talked and explained everything to me on how we can fix this problem. It was so easy to talk to him he understood me and wanted to help me. He is compassionate about his job and even more about his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone the staff is also caring and loving.

Dr. Thompson is a wonderful doctor! I have been his patient for many years now…20+!! He is highly trained, professional, and very kind. I think the world of him; you won’t find a better or more qualified orthopedic doctor! He also has a very gentle demeanor, which is an added bonus!

Dr Thompson is extremely knowledgeable. I had been seen and treated for an impingement in the right shoulder by Dr Thompson years ago. During this same time he’d noticed that I had mild arthritis in my shoulder. As years passed, I began having pain in my right shoulder region to include the collarbone, and my right elbow, which led to tingling from the elbow down to my fingertips. While checking my complaints, he touched the exact locations where I was having the issues and directed his technician to get me scheduled for tests that would give us an idea of how to proceed. He offered medication to help alleviate the pain, and when I declined, he didn’t push, which I really liked and admired. Excellent and professional doctor who I wouldn’t hesitate to see and recommend to others.

The visit went very well with Dr Thompson very explanatory about my arthritis care. His staff were attentive and caring. I will see see them all again feeling I am In very good care. Okay

Dr. Thompson was amazing and quickly fixed my daughter’s elbow. He explained everything we needed to know and made sure she was taken care of. We can’t thank him enough!!

Went to Dr.Tompson at TOC for pain in knees. He x-rayed my knees and saw that in both knees there were places that the cartilage was gone and that was causing the pain. He gave me cortisone shot in each knee and they feel much better now.

Dr. Thompson is absolutely exquisite! Very knowledgeable and listens and hears you. He tries very practical solutions to ease any pain before going under the knife. Exponentially reasonable in his medical care! I'll always choose him!

Outstanding patient experience at all levels of service. From the second I stepped through the doors I was greeted promptly and professionally. Dr Thompson went above and beyond to help me understand my medical issues and got me moving in the direction needed by getting the necessary referral sent off and even included my primary doctor in the loop. Dr Thompson was awesome. The wait to see him was not so great though. Appointment at 12:15. Wasn't called back to the exam room until 1:00. Dr Thompson came in around 1:15. He explained my MRI and surgery options and was out in 10 minutes. Almost felt rushed and I don't feel surgery of any kind is a rush. My recent encounter with Dr, William Thompson was the best encounter I can remember having with a physician I had never seen before. When Dr. Thompson entered the exam room he had a big smile, he was very cheerful and welcoming, and through out the entire encounter he made me feel like I was his favorite patient. He also did a thorough physical exam, asked me lots of questions, listened to my answers, and provided prompt answers that were easy to understand to my questions to him. He did a great job of explaining his diagnosis and telling me what I should expect during the hearing process. And he greatly resolved my anxiety by letting me know that the only treatment my bashed up shoulder would likely require was a cortisone injection and some exercises I could do at home. Amazing. He treated my 16 yr old son with kindness, understanding, and superior skill. My husband, myself, and my son are so impressed with Dr. Thompson and the entire office.

On the first visit Dr. Thompson could spot more problems going on than I was seeing him for. After referring me for proper care I was returned to him where I was given outstanding care. Now a year later after his repairing of my shoulder I'm in better condition than I've been in years. Dr. Thompson is said to be one of the best orthopedic surgeon in the area. (One of the top 3.) Believe it, he's outstanding in his work and treatment of his patients.

Dr. Thompson explained the Reverse Shoulder Replacement procedure to me. He has been great from the start. When I first broke my arm right by the ball/joint he explained why I needed this surgery, but listened to my hesitation. I waited a year to schedule the surgery but then Covid hit. To make a long story a little shorter, because of breaking my left leg, the pandemic and having my right knee replaced I am finally scheduled to have my shoulder replaced. There is not another surgeon I would want to fix my shoulder. He gives it to you straight, explains everything and answered absolutely all of my questions. I am not looking forward to the recovery but I trust Dr. Thompson 100% to take care of me. He has an oustanding PA, Carolanna, she is another comforting and knowledgable person in his office. I would recommend Dr, William Thompson for anyone that orthopedic needs.

For 15 minutes of discussing my shoulder pain and symptoms, the up front charge is 10% of my deductible, or $350.00. That’s expensive.

My wait was short and all of his staff were helpful, courteous and professional. Dr. Thompson reviewed my x-rays and listened intently to my summary of what brought me there. Quick and pleasant!

My left shoulder simply wore out with minimal Cartledge and arthritis in the joint. Dr Thompson performed a reverse shoulder replacement 4 months ago. I started PT about 4 weeks after surgery (4-5 weeks of PT) and am now am pretty much back to normal. Dr Thompson is top notch!

Everyone was friendly and professional. I got good care. However, the doc & pa were unmasked which creeped me out. I guess we’ll never be finished with this pandemic though I am sympathetic. I’m tried of masking too.

I actually like Dr. Thompson very much and felt that he was knowledgeable and helpful in helping me to manage my frozen shoulder pain and exercise. He seems caring and personable. I am rating two stars only because I do not agree with his policy during a pandemic of not masking or requiring masks from staff or patients in his office. I personally feel that masking is still prudent even among vaccinated doctors and patients. While I wore a mask during my visit, neither Dr. Thompson or his nurse were masked. Dr. Thompson encouraged me to take my mask off. Although I am vaccinated, I had just been traveling by plane and at an indoor memorial service with 150 people and felt that I’d had a lot of potential exposure so I chose to stay masked. I have no doubt that Dr. Thompson is a good orthopedic doctor, but I feel that it is reckless to skip the added safety measure of wearing masks and that it adds an unnecessary risk to the health of patients and staff during a pandemic. Vaccinations prevent severe illness but vaccinated people can still spread Covid-19. I fell on a Monday and was in tremendous pain that was all too familiar, rotator cuff tear. I got in to see Dr. Thompson on Wednesday with a noo appointment. Besides getting an appointment I also was called back to be seen right away. What a treat. Dr. T took care of me and I just wanted to say thanks ????

Dr Thompson is always great when I need to see him. He comes in, tells and shows you what the issue is and tells you how the issue will be resolved. His staff are always courteous and make having to see a doctor a pleasure.

The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Thompson is obviously an expert in his field. He takes the time to thoroughly explain all procedures and to answer any questions. I would suggest him and his staff to anyone in need of his services.
