Dr. Strayhorn is the best. Have been seeing him for the last 7 almost 8 years. He remembers details about my life when I see him, and is very sincere. He’s the doctor who was able to give me my diagnosis when nobody else could figure it out! A hero in my eyes!
Never saw Dr Strayhorn. That was who I wanted to see, but got his partner. TERRIBLE doctor. Took a year to get in. Worst experience ever. Cannot believe 2 hospitals have wings name after him. His office staff is the worst as well. Billing was a joke. Ran blood work, I had to pay because they did not know how to bill it correctly. $1200. I called the office was told they did not the codes. Dr. Strayhorn is an incredible doctor. He will take the time to listen to you and go over each plan he has with you. He is open to suggestions and will work with you as much as possible. He is easy to get into contact with. He is only accepting patients that have seizure disorders/epilepsy so if you are looking for a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy, I HIGHLY recommend him. My mom and I both see him and I am incredibly lucky we found him. We are both extremely thankful for everything he has done for us. Dr. Strayhorn is an incredible doctor. They don't even answer the phone to be able to make an appointment! I don't usually write reviews, or negative ones at that, but my health is my #1 priority and I've called 3 times based on all of the good reviews and referrals I've gotten, left messages and have not received and single call back, or even a pickup of the phone! Ugh.

Wonderful experience from making appointment to checking out.
Dr. Strayhorn was very thorough and took ample time explaining things. Our experience with him was far superior to one that we had with another neurologist.
Dr. Strayhorn is the best. Open to patient feedback, takes his time during appointments and has a genuinely caring nature. Any doctor that calls you back at 6:30pm on a Friday is a keeper!

Dr Strayhorn is the best doctor I have ever had. He is witty and smart and makes me feel like he has all the time on the world to speak to me about my Epilepsy. I am so glad I found him!

Horribly unhappy with a medical test that costs thousands of dollars with insurance. Was not fully informed about the test that was administered to me. No disclosure agreement signed or mentioned about the procedure. Never heard from the doctor after my complaints. Test was canceled and yet still after over a year of the incident, no contact from the doctor has been made, and now trying to collect payment for a test that was never completed or received results. Avoid this doctor.

Head the other way. Low information diagnosis prescribed powerful side effect producing Med and diagnosed partial onset seizure without any EEG was argumentative. No invitation to follow up care
