Very happy with Dr.Schultz he is very good at what he does and I appreciate his knowledge and expertise.

I was seen by Dr. Schultz at the belt line office. Have to say he was certainly one of the nicest and kind eye doctors I've ever been seen by. Very impressed by him and the entire staff at Grand Rapids Opthomology. If you are able to obtain an appointment with him you've struck gold. He's simply the best! ????

Everyone working in this location is very helpful and made sure to answer any questions I had, even when I called the next day with additional questions. Dr. Shultz was very kind, professional, and made me feel very comfortable through the entire appointment. I will 100% be returning to this location for any future eye appointments.

Dr. Schultz is the best. Very thorough explaining his diagnosis, explaining situation with recent diabetes diagnosis, what that means, what to watch, and possibilities in the future. Most important - very patient with questions. Kind and reassuring.

Dr. Schultz has the best personality, very thorough and informative. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I would highly recommend Dr. William Schultz if you are looking for a highly qualified eye care provider!

What I particularly like about Dr. Schultz specifically, and GR Opthamalogy generally is the time he (and all the assistants) takes to talk to his patients to explain the tests, what they mean, and why the treatment he is recommending is necessary. I very much appreciate this respect shown to the patients. The wait times are occasionally a bit too long, but I always leave before the scheduled ending (two hours for full exam), so that is certainly acceptable. Dr. Schultz OD is the best guy you can go to, very knowledgeable and thorough, spends quality of time with you, refers you to some one if he feels the need, keeps a close watch if there are any problems!

Appreciate the time Dr. Schultz took to explain the procedures & show me the imaging of my eye. He helped me understand when I should be eligible for LASIK & why it’s not beneficial for me to get it until my eye stops changing prescription strengths.

Great experience. Explained things, took time to listen and made a few suggestions. Will recommend this Doctor.

I recently visited Doctor Schultz after my cataract surgeries. His exam was very thorough and complete. He explained how my eyes had corrected from the surgery and he was able to prescribe what little correction I now needed for reading. He was patient and answered all my questions. All of the staff at the East Grand Rapids office were very professional and knowledgeable. The services of Dr. Schultz and staff at that office are highly recommended. Dr. Schultz was able to quickly diagnose my eye problem and prescribed a eye drop that would remedy the problem.

Dr Schultz takes the time to fully explain your test results/ condition, plan of care and treatment options in an easy to understand way. He is very approachable with good bedside mannor. Would absolutely recommend.

Dr.Schultz is very friendly and personable. He explains everything well and is very thorough in his exams. I feel I am in very good hands with him and am looking forward to improving my vision. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a competent ophthalmologist. He is the best!

BEWARE of how Grand Rapids Ophthalmology is scheduling your appointments and billing practices. Called to schedule a vision check appointment under our vision insurance (copay of $15), but it was scheduled as a medical appointment resulting in a $152 bill. Have been speaking to billing since end of April with a total of 7 phone calls never returned by the manager and director. Today I get a notice threatening to send me to collections. After 7 years, our family will be finding a new place.
