Dr. William John Pittas

One year post op breast reduction. Biggest mistake having Pittus do any surgery on me. Caused me multiple issues. Post op care was horrific. One year later in hospital again over the breast reduction complications.

Dr Pittas performed a tummy tuck on me June 13, 2022. Two weeks after at my check up I expressed that I had a spot that was very sore. They checked and told me I was doing too much physically. I only moved to use the bathroom. Two weeks later my incision opened up, again to be told I was doing too much. It took another Dr in a different hospital to listen to me and figure out I had a rare bacterial infection. I ended up in wound care with a wound vac for 3 months. My aftercare was terrible. I haven't been seen in his office since September I believe, could be since August. I havent been contacted as to my welfare. My stomach is very mis-shaped, I have some terrible scar tissue that causes me a lot of pain. I'm more embarrassed now of how I look now vs when I had a big fat saggy stomach. This has been a nightmare since the night of surgery. I wish I had never done this.

I BROUGHT MY NEIGHBOR IN FOR A RECONSTRUCTION SUUPRGERY AFTER A SKIN CANCER BIOPSY. DR PITTAS WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, CORDIAL , EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE DID AND WAS VERY THOROUGH. AS A NURSE I REALLY APPRECIATED HIS PROFRESSIONALISM AND MOST IF ALL HIS KINDNESS.

Dr. Pittas was horrible to my 9yr old for reconstruction of his hands. My son described his entire surgery and was awake during the procedure. Dr. Pittas told me that i didn't have a degree so I don't know anything. Out of surgery my son was crying in pain and he only prescribed tylenol. I had to take my son from ascension to another hospital just to get his pain management under control. I called asvension to file a complaint and no one took my complaint seriously or called meback. Four visits, two surgeries and he never looked at my chart. Asked me where the scar came from...it was from his own first surgery. Operated under local anesthesia second time and did not wait for it to take effect.... literally tortured me, unnecessarily, for 15 minutes digging into his incision. Abysmal care.

If you are seeking the best in pre and post op care for breast reduction, keep searching because you will not find it here! Had I known the post op care would be awful as I've experienced I would of never had this procedure. Very disappointed.

Maybe Pittas has good hands... I hope so...his patient skills could not be more lacking. He should NEVER ask a patient....ask me ....so what surgery did I do on you in August? First lesson in patient care, doctor, LOOK AT THE CHART BEFORE GOING INTO THE ROOM.....at least pretend you care a little

I am so pleased with Dr.Pittas. He did a great job on my locked finger and thumb. The staff at the office are always so friendly. I now have a different problem and he is going to take care of it also. Dr.Pittas is so friendly and nice he answers all your questions. I would recommend him .

William Pittas didn't even try to figure out my hand and arm pain... just pushed physical therapy, even after it hurt me. Not even sure why he's a hand specialist

Where to begin! Dr. Pittas is literally an Angel on earth. I am four months post op my breast augmentation. I’m an extremly small framed girl & wanted a surgeon who would listen to my wants. I wanted natural results. I’ve breastfed three babies & my self confidence was absolutely gone. He's not great he always yelled at my mother and she was always in trouble by him her body was rejecting the implants and he wanted to put her in more pain with more surgery

I went to see Dr Pittas for a botched fat transfer under my eye. Done by another Dr in 2016 and after 5 plus years dealing with my DENT under my eye and researching and consulting all during this time. I was Blessed to cross paths with Dr Pittas. He explained to me the what and whys to what was going on and suggested the "FIX" and in 10 mins my nightmare was over. He handed me the mirror and I cried tears of joy. After struggling with the DENT that I faced daily in the mirror for 5 years was finally GONE ... I am forever GRATEFUL for Dr Pittas. I went to Dr Pittas to have a breast augmentation fixed and a capsule contracture. I was not happy with my breasts for over 10 years - I am finally OVER THE MOON HAPPPY! He did an amassing job! Not only is he fantastic but the entire staff is phenomenal!! I will definitely recommend Dr Pittas to everyone! With that being said. - i did refer 2 of my girl friends to Dr Pittas and they feel the same way I do - I saw their results and “WOW”!!! If i ever need anything again I will go to Dr Pittas!

I went to Dr Pittas because i had a capsule contracture and was unhappy with my last breast augmentation. I am beyond ecstatic with my results!!! Finally after 10+ years i am happy with my breasts! Dr Pittas fixed an open wound in my abdomen!! I was dealing with the mistakes of another plastic surgeon who honestly had no idea how to fix me!! The pain and anguish I went thru can not be described by words.. When I met Dr Pittas I felt instantly at ease and I could tell he really cared about me.. Had the surgery, I am 100% better and I can wear regular clothes again!! Wow! What a godsend!!

I wish I could give more stars. He is the best doctor I have been to. This is my first time doing anything cosmetic and he explained each step and each process one by one. A few weeks later and my face looks AMAZING. Took a few hours for the procedure and I can't wait to go back for my check up!!

My 14 year old had hand surgery days ago from Dr.Pittas. my son fractured it on the 4th of July , the dr. wanted to do surgery that Wed. It was not feasable for us to get there that quick, my husband and i had not spoken to him prior to that day as we live in metro Det. we drove 2 hours to be with our son who is residing in a adjacent town . Upon meeting Dr.Pittis he barely answered questions. Did not introduce himself, was very short with my husband and myself. He may of did a good job on my son's hand , but i was not happy with how Dr.Pittas presented himself. He did not take the time to really talk to us about the surgery prior , after or about the xray findings. Please give your patients family a little more of your time when first meeting them . granted he came up to us and our son possibly between patient surgeries but did not speak to us in a manner that we felt that our son was important to him. After losing 200lbs and being left with extremely loose and sagging skin, I never in my wildest dreams thought I could ever have a flat stomach. I'm here to tell you Dr. Pittas is a miracle worker! Not only did he help correct issues from a previous botch job done by a hack of a surgeon. He performed mass skin removal from chest to pelvis, repaired the muscles underneath, made me a brand new belly button and left very minimal scars. Great caring Doctor!

After a breast augmentation with another doctor I developed a capsular contraction within 8 months. I consulted with Dr. Pittas and he assured me that he could remove the scar tissue and replace the implant. The surgery went well and I have had an amazing result. He is an excellent Doctor and truly is concerned for his patients and their well being. I would highly recommend him.

I would like to tell my journey with breast cancer. I found out I had breast cancer in 2016 after my yearly mammogram. I was scheduled for another mammogram and needed to have a biopsy. I also had a MRI which revealed cancer. This cancer is called Ductal Carcinoma and was in my right breast. My doctor told me that I would need a mastectomy. I went through all kinds of emotions from being in shock, crying, angry, and scared! I had to make a decision if I was going to only have the right breast removed that had the cancer or have them both removed. After a lot of soul searching and praying i decided to have a double mastectomy. That way did not have to worry if the cancer would spread into the other breast. I made the right decision because after the surgery I was told that the start of that same cancer was in the left breast. After the mastectomy Dr. Pittas put tissue expanded in which expands the skin to prepare for the implants. These were filled every two weeks a total of four fills. I then had surgery to remove the tissue expanded and put in implants. Dr. Pattas did an awesome job! They look and feel real and younger too. This whole journey was not as bad as I had anticipated. I thought I would be in a lot of pain, but very little. In fact the only pain I had was after the 3rd and 4th fill. Laying down and trying to get up was painful, but only the day of the fill. I did not have to take pain medications at all during this whole journey which I was thankful for. Everything I went through was all worth it, which led me to be cancer free! I had a reconstruction after a double mastectomy and also most recently excess skin removal.Dr Pittas's caring and bedside manner towards his patients is amazing. I receive compliments from family members and my physicians with how great my graph has healed and looks. its look amazing, and isn't noticeable which I was really concerned about. Dr. Pittas has done both reconstruction of my breasts from a double mastectomy and also excess skin removal. First of all I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Dr Pittas is an extremely caring dr. I was hesitant on have mastectomy almost 2 years ago but after meeting Dr Pittas. I felt so comfortable with him. Talking with him about my options made me realize he really cares for you and doesn’t treat you like a number to rush you in and out. Great bedside manner too. Highly recommended.

After having neck/face lift, I look at least 30 years younger. I also feel happier and have increased confidence and energy in my everyday life.
