William S. Morgan

Our previous pediatrician retired and our insurance assigned us to Dr Morgan. He is requiring ALL household members be COVID vaccinated before he sees you. While my personal opinion is that everyone should be able to choose what is best for them, I think it's ridiculous to require that children be vaccinated before being seen. I've never heard of anything like this.

Dr. Morgan turns away sick children if their parents are unvaccinated!!! Do yourself a favor and see a better Doctor!

My daughter has been going to Dr. Morgan for over 4 years now. We absolutely love him. He is like the Mr. Rogers of pediatrics. He is kind, gentle, attentive, and always engages my daughter and makes her laugh. He has helped ease her stress over doctors visits since we started going to him. He doesn't just diagnose and treat at appointments, he also educates parents on child nutrition and activity level, things within the home that become risks to kids at certain ages, tips for helping children cope with stress, etc. My daughter has been going to Dr. Morgan for over 4 years now. Great staff! Very clean!

His bedside manner leaves much to be desired. My close friend had him years ago too and had equally disappointing experiences with him. Great dr if you’re a new mom that likes crying after each visit.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr Morgan. I have four kids. We have been going to Dr Morgan 14 years now. They always get us into the office in an emergency, even that very day they squeeze us in somehow. My 14 year old has severe autism and Dr Morgan is great with him and my son loves him. I like that he doesn’t want to push a bunch of pills on us. The staff have always been great with us. I love that my children always see the same dr and have that personal relationship with him. My daughter has been a patient of dr. Morgan for 7 years, every appointment goes smoothly. Staff is very friendly. Love that we were able to find a doctor close to home.

My kids have been seeing Dr Morgan for over 15 years. He and his staff are great. They take time to listen to our concerns. Dr Morgan is great about explaining things so that we understand. He is especially great with kids who are asthmatic.

Dr. Morgan and his staff are amazing! The ladies are friendly and always happy to answer any questions I might have. Dr. Morgan is great with my two teen sons and our newborn. He always makes sure I have all the information I need even when I don’t know I need it. He takes his time with each of my kids and is never in a hurry to get out of the room. The Healthgrades website states Dr. Morgan is accepting new patients and he technically is, except he is personally hand picking which ones he accepts. I assume if you have good insurance you are accepted. If your chart is reviewed and deemed unacceptable you will not be seeing Dr. Morgan. We never got the chance to make an appointment so I cannot attest to Dr. Morgan's competence, bedside manner or trustworthiness. What I can report is that my child, because he wasn't the "right" patient was denied an appointment. This decision was given to me THREE months after filing out forms and obtaining previous records. To deny care for so long is completely unacceptable. I wish I had been informed earlier that he was being denied as I'm now having to go through this long process again with another pediatrician all awhile my son continues to suffer. I will be contacting my insurance company to report my issues, as I feel they should be aware of Dr. Morgan's insurance preferences.

This is a wonderful thoughtful pediatrician who cares about patients. He has a lot of advice if you need it for different types of things involving children, and their office always answers or calls back fast which has been very helpful. I've gone to him for 3 years for 2 kids now.

I really dislike this Dr. I am not one to put a review but I’m not sure he knows much about the medical field. He has also fone things to make me believe that he is not a fan of colored people to put it nicely. During one of our first visits, he told me that i was overfeeding my newborn. It was maybe my 2nd visit with him & my husband and I immediately sought out another Pediatrician. I I am heartbroken and absolutely beside myself as I type this. Before I get into it, let me preface this by saying that my husband and I have a combined nearly 30 years experience in the medical field. I worked in both hospitals, clinics, and doctors offices. We have 3 grown daughters ages 26, 22 and 21 and we adopted our son at birth 9 years ago. I am also a birth mom to a daughter who is 23. Both mentioned adoptions are open meaning everyone stays in touch and while it may not work for everyone, it works perfectly for our families. Our son has had three physicians his entire life. The third was supposed to be Dr. Morgan. We filled out, and turned in, new patient forms two months ago. Also a release of medical records for dr Morgan’s office to review medical history from Kaiser. Well, now our son is sick. Can’t shake his nasty cough and very sore throat. My husband called to find out the holdup and to try and get our sweet boy seen. That didn’t happen. So what DID happen? This “doctor” REFUSES to see our son unless and until he reviews his ADOPTION RECORDS. Those records have absolutely NOTHING to do with his health. Absolutely ZERO medical information contained in these records! NONE! He just wants to “make sure we can make medical decisions for him!!!!!!” He is our SON, of course we do! I mean, our names on his birth certificate aren’t enough?!?!?!?! My husband and I feel discriminated against because everything was going well until we mentioned he is adopted. It’s necessary for our son’s medical caregivers to know this because their might be a time where we just don’t know what’s wrong genetics wise. That’s the ONLY reason. The adoption records contain personal information about me, my husband, and our sons birth mom. That’s it! There is no reason in the world to DEMAND to see them. He refuses to see our sick child based on this! We have enrolled him in multiple sports, two schools, and other extra curricular activities. His birth certificate was fine. His other pediatricians? Didn’t need adoption records!!! I am absolutely appalled! When I worked in a doctors office performing pulmonary function tests on patients or performing medical studies on patients, there were a few minor children who were adopted. Did I need their adoption records? No! Did any of the doctors I worked for? No! Anyway, this man needs a HUGE dose of reality. Go see someone who will respect you and your child. (Previous patient) When I was about 15 I went in to Dr. Morgan complaining about some head/nerve related symptoms, he proceeded to tell me and my mother that they were psychosomatic and was being generally condescending. Recently I got a CT scan and found out that I have had cerebellar tonsillar ectopia, and if Dr. Morgan had referred me to a specialist, I would have known 3/4 years ago. I have had good experiences with him as well just be careful, also be aware that we are privileged to have many other options of doctors in our area and if you feel uncomfortable you should absolutely switch it's incredibly worth it. After speaking with an attorney, other adoptive parents, DCA, and others, it was determined that my son was denied care. I left several messages on Tuesday for him to call me back. He never did. I just Wanted HIS reasons for wanting adoption records. Records that have ZERO medical history on my child. He and his staff are demeaning, judgmental, arrogant, curt, and rude. Go elsewhere

Today I had to contact this office due to a mistake that CenCal made and appointed this office as the provider -- well not only was HUNG UP on but the lady named SPRING is extremely RUDE. This office is refusing to refer my son back to his CORRECT DOCTOR ..... Called CenCal asked for an emergency over ride and they wont do it ....... Misdiagnosed infant with strep. Told us he was fine, i pushed for him to do a strep test because my other kids all had strep. He argued with me for 5 minutes telling me it would be negative. Comes back in telling me it was positive! Fast forward to 3 years later when my insurance company asigned my kids to him and i call to make an appt becauase shes sick and his receptionist tells me tgey cant see her until they have her files sent to them.... My daughter is sick , they are her dr. but she cant be seen by them? They told me they arent an urgent care and i need to get her new patient packet and files turned into them before i can make an appt. When i called, the lady laughed under her breath and asked if she was a new patient, i said Dr. Morgan was assigned to her and she told me to call the insurence company n have them change it to a different dr..... what? First and foremost: Dr. Morgan is awesome. He has been my kids' pediatrician since birth, and has always been great. (For reference, my oldest is 13 years old). We'd heard of and experienced varying degrees of a lack of professionalism from his office staff over the last decade-plus. We have stuck with him through it all... until today. I have been trying to rectify an error made by our insurance regarding the assignment of a different primary care physician for the kids. For those not aware, that is a four-way conversation: patient + insurance + Dr's office + physicians' group. In trying to determine the source of the problem today with Dr. Morgan's office staff (I'd already confirmed it was fixed on the insurance end) I was routinely interrupted, cut off, talked down to, and frankly just not listened to. I missed the name of the girl that answered the phone originally, but then I too was passed off to "Spring". (See the other review below) I was exposed to more of the same, except a little more venomous. I tried to point out to Spring that she was interrupting me, but she again lost her cool and said I'd be interrupted "a million times" (or somesuch) before she finally slammed the phone down, hanging up on me. I have never, ever, (short of a pissed off telemarketer) been exposed to so much unprofessionalism on the phone. It doubly stings because, like the previous reviewer, I'm just trying to deal with my son's healthcare. So, that was the straw that broke this camel's back. I will not continue to send my family into an environment that is prone to that level of toxicity and unprofessionalism. Unfortunately this is Worst doctors office EVER. The staff is extremely rude. Ms.Spring threatened to say I was not vaccinating my child because she continued to hang up on the phone after I was trying to get records to transfer my child to another doctor. They treat their patients poorly And lack respect for others. I was so disappointed considering this is supposed to be a child's Dr and they were so unprofessional cursing on the phone and now threats to make lies that my child has not been vaccinated after I asked "do you rudely hang up on all patients?" . This office has the most unprofessional women working the front! So rude and have no compassion.. I called To see if my 5 month old could be seen ASAP and the lady who answered told me Maybe I should Take him back to LA or the emergency room.. after explaining that my son has had kidney issues and has a fever.. my son seen dr Morgan at 2 weeks old but we moved to LA county and we are in town for the week.. also dr Morgan had told me when my son was 2 weeks old that the kidney issue would clear itself but here we are 5 months later and we found out by another pediatrician that his kidney is backed up and clogged.. the first bad experience I had With the lady with tattoos was when our son’s new pediatrician called to have files transferred and she was rude to the pediatrician as well who’s also wrote a complaint for the office..if you decide to take your children here goodluck! We love Dr. Morgan!!! He has seen both my kids since they were born. The staff is very friendly never have I been disrespected by them.

We have four children and have been happy customers/patients of Dr. Morgan for over 16 years. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Morgan and his practice. We would not trust anyone else with the care of our children.

Makes patients pay cash for basic appointment, then once they receive funds from insurance "pays client back". But I a still waiting for a payment made in Oct 2015. Verified insurance was current and I had proof of paying into the policy for a year, and still wanted entire amount instead of copay for new patients. I immediately pulled all of my kids out and switched.
