I'm a person that do not like needles, but I didn't feel no pain when he inject those needles in my spine, it took less than 20 minutes but it was more like 5 minutes best ever love y'all guys

We did resurch on Dr William Mills after hearing about him from a family member. Her 76 year olds mom had disk replacement and was able too travel from SC to upstate New York 17 hrs with 1 overnight stop 6 weeks after surgery. That is unheard of with anyone else I know with back surgery. My husband had severe stenosis in 3 spot S1L5, L5L4, L4L3. It was so bad he was in constant pain and nothing would help. Falling all the time. After surgery he walked that same day it was like night and day difference no more shuffling feet or Dragon foot now walks more perfect than most people picking feet up and feet straight ahead with no limbs or anything. The only painkillers he needed after surgery was 325 mg Tylenol. Dr Mills and his colleague Shan Fu, PA-C are very passionate concerning doctors which take their time to make sure any and all of your concerns are taken care of they answer any questions you may have and make sure you understand the answers. We could not recommend anybody more capable of this surgery then Dr Mills anyone looking to have back surgery should definitely see Dr Mills he does not neglect any part of your health if he sees anything else in his search of what needs to be taken care of he will let you know so that you can have those things addressed also we had other health things that Dr Mills pointed out and we took care of because he showed us things that other doctors have never shown us he goes above and beyond his duty and that is what everyone needs in a doctor

In my past experience with Dr. Mills he took care of my pain quickly. He listened carefully and did what was needed. I've seen him again and he reviewed my MRI's saw the issues a Neurosurgeon saw and recommended injections to try and relieve the pain issues before surgery. I have had so many procedures, injections, nerve ablation and surgery + pain meds. I can no longer do steroid injections as they led me to diabetes. Dr. Mills provided direct expertly directed injections other than Cortizone. Hopefully he can get me 5 more years before another surgery as my Neurosurgeon said I should get. The staff was wonderful as always.

While the shots are painful I got instant relief of pain. I recommend doctor Mills to anyone with back pain. He listens and he has excellent performance of treatment for back pain.

Excellent Experience from beginning to end. From the first time meeting Dr. Mills to surgery date, to follow-up, I had an excellent experience. All office staff are great. Dr. Mills was attentive to my chief complaint and was thorough in his assessment and treatment plan. I cannot recommend Dr. Mills and Ortho SC enough.

Dr Mills is great. He listens and will discuss options with you. His PA and support staff are also wonderful. I feel very comfortable with them all. But be prepared, they’re so great to talk to you’re going to be waiting awhile to be called back for your appointment but they’re worth it.

Dr. Mills is the best back doctor ever! He is kind and gentle, and he knows what he is doing. As far as I am concerned he is the BACK doctor. I had my surgery 8 months ago and I am pain free! from that sciatic nerve that has taunted me for years! He went through my stomach to get to my back. It really worked for me. He gave me my life back at age 68! You see I have always been a firm believer that just because you are getting older that you have to always be in pain. I thank God for sending me to Dr. Mills. Got 2 more injections and hopefully after 2 more MRI’s we will have more answers. I’m thoroughly pleased with Dr Mills and the staff with all they’re doing to help in figuring out what the pain is caused from and how to resolve it. Scheduling is no problem and the wait is short. I am 67 yr old black woman. When I found out I needed to have surgery again I started praying to God. He mmediately flashed Dr. Mill's face before me. I went to him and he was so sweet, kind, sympathetic and compassionate. He notice a necklace I was wearing around my neck of my son on a necklace along with a bullet. My son got killed in Iraq in 2008. He leaned down kissed me on my cheek and said he was so sorry. He said I am going to take real good care of you. I told him I was going to trust him to do just that. He got help with a doctor he trusted to help him which he knew would be best to assist him which was Dr. Moore at the beach. You see they went through my stomach to get to my back. Dr. Moore was awesome! Thanks to you. I was not afraid at all but at peace. Thanks to God. I had suffered with that sciatic nerve shooting down my leg for years. When I woke up and the pain was completely gone! I haven't had any pain since. My life has change!! I love me some Dr. Mills. After months of shots and consultations and preparations for surgery and extreme rudeness from his assistant , I decided to cancel my surgery. His staff is very unprofessional, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous and their staffs follow up procedures are a joke. Dr. Mills seems to be very professional and good at what he does however , he needs to reconsider the damage done to his practice by his employees. He is ultimately responsible for their actions. Before I saw Dr. Mills, I was unable to walk more than a few steps without having extreme back and leg pain. I had surgery in July and I am now able to walk several blocks and take my dog out for a walk 3 to 4 times a day. I am so grateful for having the surgery and getting my life back. Thank you so much!
