William M Merritt

Will Merritt is a lazy Dr. that pushes his wife's pharmacy. The guy has zero sense of urgency for anything, and upon hearing that I had a bit of a tough time going 6 days without a RX, he laughed. So that's where I stand on this guy. Super fake.

Dr.Merritt is the best,his staff is also wonderful every member ive came in contact with was so lovely. My mom recently had some issues and he did his job and beyond. He made sure he did everything he could and he explained everything step by step so that we would be able to fully understand what was going on. Truly the best.

I was referred to Dr. Merritt after a partial molar pregnancy. I was terrified, but Dr. Merritt and his staff have always been pleasant and reassuring. The waits are never long, and Dr. Merritt has even called me personally to go over my weekly/monthly labs. He also prevented me from having another unnecessary surgery which I'm so thankful for. I am confident that I'm in good hands with Dr. Merritt.

The atmosphere in his office is wonderful very calm clean. Thanks Anita.The lady's are very nice, helpful. I was very comfortable and well cared for my nurses and stuff. Susie his Nurse is a very sweet and gentle person.Dr. Merritt was just as I was told, understandind, patient. Great at what he does. I Thank them all for my Care.

Sc Oncology paying patient for 13 years. Check up with Dr, William Merritt this month.! A GI CT this week shows a lesion, requests work up. Who you gonna call? " ghost busters". Not your oncologist at SCOA. I wasted 2 days faxing Dr. Mettitt records only to have him refuse to speak to me or honor 2 physicians requests to CT.

Dr. Merritt is a very caring and compassionate person. If you want a doctor who will be open with you in explaining your diagnosis and all of your treatment options he is the person to see. He did a laparoscopic hysterectomy on me a few weeks ago and I recovered without any complications. I am not the easiest patient and I have low tolerance for pain, but I had very little discomfort after the first few days. An excellent physician. Dr. Merritt is a very caring person who is devoted to making sure his patients receive the best care possible. He scheduled me in for surgery when he had very little availability and I was so happy to finally have it done. I think his staff is professional and courteous, even when it is challenging because I can be difficult. He goes the extra mile particularly in communicating about treatment options, procedures and recovery.

Dr. Merritt is gentle, thorough and cares; I so appreciate his bedside manner. I am so glad he and his nursing assistant are there to help me.

Dr,Merritt He's the kind of doctor you need to help you through upsetting time..very professional and he listens.I have the up most respect for him .Thankfull to have him..

Dr. Merritt is a earth angel,Dr .Merritt actually listened to my concerns and was very compassionate. He gave me my life back and confirmed I actually did have endometriosis. I had a few other things as well. Dr. Merritt and his staff are amazing people! I would recommend him to any em needing hel.

Excellent care, bedside manner.

I have been with him for several years. I cannot understand the bad reviews. He has been honest, compassionate, and approachable. My surgery and subsequent recovery period (spring 2017) went about as smoothly as possible. The entire staff at South Carolina Oncology Associates have been friendly and efficient. I have had to reschedule a few appointments and have always been accommodated quickly and with understanding of my situation. I drive 3 1/2 hours to see Dr. Merritt and feel the long drive is more than worth it. Women in my area with the same kind of cancer have not had the same experiences with the local oncologists. I can say without a doubt that treatment by Dr. Merritt has prolonged my life and enhanced its quality.

He performed my mom’s cancer surgery.. very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough.

If I had known then, what I know now, I'd never have allowed my loved one to go to Merritt. He withheld information that, in my opinion, made the difference between life and death, and having lost that loved one (for which I hold him fully accountable), now, I know better. Never again. I'd never go back to SC Oncology, and I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone go to him.

Horrible experience!!!

Excellent bedside manner! He listened to my concerns. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He is experienced and professional yet very humble. The entire staff is excellent! All the nurses are caring and always available. I feel I am in the best hands; receiving the best care.

Dr. William is very professional and concerned about the patient as a hole. I really wish they would make him a PCM on post.
