William Roger Maus

My father had a lump on his neck in a high lymph node area for 5 years and Dr. Maus simply chalked it up to a lipoma (a benign fatty mass) every year that my dad went in for his annual check-up. No biopsy, no referral to a specialist. It wasn't until an NP told my dad to demand a biopsy that Dr. Maus took any action. Results came back as stage 4 head and neck cancer. My dad is now dead due to complications related to his head and neck cancer. I feel this all could have been avoided and my father would still be alive to this day had Dr. Maus taken the simple actions to further evaluate the suspicious lump when my dad first brought it to his attention years ago. Dr. Maus Is an excellent, caring, knowledgeable, and patient position is an excellent, caring, knowledgeable, and patient physician. I’ve been his patient for over 20 years and hope for 20 more!
