I give them one star because the phone staff was pleasant and helpful. I may could have given more had they been willing to accept a new patient that had seen another podiatrist in another city several years prior. They refused to see me for that specific reason so, if you've ever had your feet checked out and need a new doctor GO ELSEWHERE. In fact, go elsewhere anyway. A running injury sent me into visit my favorite running doctor. He put me on a strict plan and I am on track to recovery and to running again. Thankful that he has taken the time to listen to me and to put me on a plan that works for me which allows me to continue exercise without running so my foot can heal. I called this office after being referred by a friend, called the office told them i had purchased some inserts from another Podiatrist. They called me back and said that the "Dr" wouldn't see me because I saw another Podiatrist last year. I told them that it was weird to not offer care for that reason and hung up. As a former patient I called for an appointment. Dr. Johncock had treated me for the same fungus problem. He had also suggested surgery on the other foot, but wanted to refer me to someone else to do the surgery. I found another surgeon on my own. Now he won't see me for a fungus because someone else did surgery on a different foot! . I will no longer recommend him to anyone. He makes his own policies! Went to see him over 2 years ago. He recommended surgery. Just now started having issues again so went for a second opinion at a orthopedic center. That Dr. Said no surgery needed, just needed to have the bunion scraped down. Orthopedic doctor sent a referral to Dr. Johncock and we got a message from Dr. Johncock that seeing as we saw a different Doctor for a second opinion he would not see us anymore. He told us to either see another doctor or go back to the orthopedic doctor. I would never recommend him to anyone, that is very unprofessional for any doctor. He is there to treat people and I do not understand why he is so against people getting a second opinion seeing as most insurance companies require it before they approve certain surgeries. Dr Johncock has taken care of my feet for 30 years. I am a runner and have had a multitude of issues. Dr Johncock has kept me running with minimal downtime. Orthotics, blisters, ingrown toenails, etc. Fast, friendly service. Takes the necessary amount of time with his patients.

Dr Johncock is the best at fixing any problem you have. I have seen him for numerous stress fractures. He always is understanding and his staff is the greatest! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I brought my teenaged daughter in to see Dr Johncock for what I thought was a minor issue, and easy fix. I was thankful that he discovered a much bigger issue, which will require surgery on both feet for her. The staff were incredibly well informed. Dr Johncock was extremely sensitive to the gravity of the news for us, and took time to explain the problem in great detail. He provided written information before we even had a chance to ask for it. Between his literature and his persevering through all of our questions, we left with a solid understanding of the situation. I’m deeply grateful for his expertise and for identifying a problem now when it can be fixed with much more ease than would be the case after she entered adulthood. I am so very thankful for Dr Johncock and his staff.

I thought this was strange, I mean, I have a foot problem and he's a podiatrist - RIGHT???? As it turns out he would not see me because a saw another podiatrist in the area 2 years ago for a different issue. Why does he have the right to tell me I cannot change doctors? Some nerve.. I will gladly share this with others. I also got the feeling that the fact I was a Medicare patient may have made a difference. Dr Johncock is a wonderful Dr! He is very thorough and explains everything very clear! He listens to you with every question or concern you have. Very kind Dr!

I would not recommend Dr. Johncock. He was the Dr for my special needs daughter who has Angelman syndrome for 20+ years. We have not seen him in probably the last 10 years. She is now having critical issues that he would under no circumstances see her, not even speak to me. I was very disappointed because I know that he understands her disability and that was very important. My insurance suggested I pay out of pocket to him and they would reimburse me, but again he said no. No treatment

Have been experiencing severe foot pain. My primary physician referred me to Johncock, but I heard nothing for @ 3 wks. I called his office His staff claimed they never received it and asked to have it re-sent. I called Primary to have it re-sent. Several days later, a staff person called with questions about previous injuries/issue with my foot. I explained I had a broken ankle @ 8 yrs earlier and was referred to an orthopedist. They called back and said Johncock wouldn't see me! WTH!

If the staff actually listened and relayed my information correctly to the doctor, I may have been able to schedule an appointment.

Great visit this morning. Doc took his time and was very helpful. He handled my issue, and gave help on preventing future problems. First class!! Highly recommend

What a refreshingly wonderful experience! I was nervous going in due to significant pain, Dr. Johncock was gentle and meticulous. I had no pain during the entire procedure. Dr. Johncock was friendly (how rare is that nowadays), thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained every option and each step during the procedure. His staff were also wonderful! Just like other reviewers, I wish I didn't have to even leave a one star review. I made an appointment for my 90 year old mother to have her ingrown toe nail looked at because it was causing her pain. He saw her on the first visit and everything was good. When it was time for another visit to his office 30 days later, they would not make an appointment for her. They sent a registered letter to her stating that they would no longer provide medical care for her. The letter had the right name but wrong date of birth, clearly having the wrong patient. Johncock also stated in the letter that Mom didn't follow his treatment plan he gave her. Mom has a private nurse that followed the treatment plan exactally but he would not know if she did or did not follow his plan. After several calls to Johncock's staff, to get a call back from Johncock to find out where the mixup was and explain they have the wrong patient they have not yet given her the courtesy of a return phone call. The time between the first appointment and the proposed second appointment was 30 days. Johncock and his staff are extremely unprofessional and evasive. I would never recommend a medical professional or any business that treated customers let alone patients in this manner. Very pleased with the thorough service and care I received at Dr. Johncock's office for my broken foot. Very professional, experienced and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

I was able to get in on the same day I called. The staff was courteous and Dr Johncock was very thorough and professional. He took the time to explain the procedures, I did not feel rushed and he answered all my questions.

I had 2 plantars warts on the bottom of each of my feet in different locations. I had tried to doctor them on my own to no avail. I was able to get a fast appointment and they were completely better within 2 weeks. I wish I had gone sooner. I loved their office staff and Dr Johncock. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Johncock and his team are a AWESOME bunch of people! They got me in quick and very knowledgeable and I was on my way after just 40 minutes with them doing x-rays and consultation. For people who run it is Great to have a Dr. that runs as well. Thanks for all your help guys! And I would recommend this office to everyone.

I called to make an appointment. very unprofessional office. Would never go there or tell anyone else to go there.

Dr Johncock had to remove my big toenail. He took almost 30 minutes to remove it as to inject the numbing agent fast would have caused severe pain. He was delicate and professional and I didn't feel a thing! So now that my other big toenail is squashed, I'll be going back to him agin for sure!!

Very unprofessional attitude in office and would not recommend to any of my family or friends.
