Dr. James listens. He asks questions as well as answering them. He is careful with diagnosis and not hasty in prescribing medications. Results of bloodwork are prompt (next day) in the portal and followed up with call.

Dr James is totally organized and analytical. I don't know how he keeps up with his caseload. I guess he has natural ability.

Dr James is a very thorough and caring Dr. I credit him with me being alive today. I moved from Sand Springs 4 years ago. I drive from Muskogee to see him. Won't change Drs.

From the time I walked in the door I had the best of care. Heather checked me in, and called Walgreens to see if they had my phone. Elizabeth was great with vitals. Dr. James took care of all I needed. Every one was great. Thank you

Dr. James is a great doctor. Very concerned. However, it is almost impossible to get an appointment lately when you are sick. This is beyond his control. I believe they have gone to a Scheduling Department located in some other state. The last two times I have been sick I’ve had to go to an Urgent Care.

Dr James is the best!! He’s been taking care of me since Dr Raj took a job at St John’s in Sapulpa. Both of these great Drs have saved my life more than once. I’ve been a patient with St John’s and Ascension in Sand Springs since 1985 and received nothing short of great care all the time. Wonderful Drs and staff, thanks to all‼️

Dr. James is my doctor and I think he is AWESOME!!!. The most important thing about Dr. James is that he tells me everything up front. I like that in a doctor. There are times when he will say, let me do my job which is to keep you healthy and when I ask him something he explains it to where I can understand. Very knowledgable. Gentle, caring, compassionate. Will take time to listen and talk to you about other issues. Always asks if there is anything else we need to take care of while in his office. Staff is always nice. Punctual!!!

I was seen promptly and my physician Dr.Matt James answered my questions and took his time with me. I feel that he is very competent and caring.

The service was excellent

Dr James and the staff there at the Sand Springs office are the best. Efficient and courteous, they err on the side of caution. This I truly appreciate! Thank you.

I was taken in on time. Dr James was very thorough and is always easy to talk to. I highly recommend him. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. Also easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Dr. James was very personable. Instead of just listening and writing. He would listen, then take his notes and discuss the issue with me. I'm a self pay patient and he very specifically told me "I'm not here to take your money, so please call me if I need to adjust any meds or if I can email you advise. That's no charge. I have been going to Dr. James since 2010. He has always taken the time to listen to my concerns, ask questions, and then treats the problems, if needed, he would refer me to a specialist. He always stays on top of my ongoing medical needs. He was also my husband's doctor. During a difficult time when my husband was fighting terminal cancer he spent time answering his questions honestly with compassion and respect. He would have his nurse call and check on him to see if he needed anything. I have the utmost respect and confidence for Dr. James. I have referred several family members and friends to him and they have all been grateful. I have been going to Dr. James since 2010. Cancels appointments a lot.

I work in healthcare and was appalled by the things they have done. I just submitted a complaint to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. They missed diagnosed a family member and two weeks later she died. It’s to painful to even go into details. Please NEVER go to them!!!!!!

Dr James is a great and excellent doctor... However I had a 1:00 appt - called prior to arrival due to running late. was advised by Shanna if I arrived by 1:15 I would be seen. Arrived at 1:16 stood in line until 1:20. Alisha made me re-schedule my appt - for one and this was for possible injury to prev fracture. She was very rude and was not compliant with request - stated I would have to see urgent care
