Great doctor. I highly recommend.

My son had his meniscus repaired by Dr. Jacobson a few months ago. Very impressed through all phases of the repair, pre and post surgery. He is always patient and thoroughly explains each part of the treatment.

Last October I fell while walking our dogs and ran my shoulder into a curb. The injury was serious and a close friend referred me to Dr. Jacobson. He put my shoulder back together and set me up with the qualified physical therapists on site at Capital Ortho. It’s taken 6 months, but I’m back to feeling like my old self. Thank you Dr J!

I have now had two knee replacement surgeries performed by Dr. Jacobson, one in mid-2019 and one in November 2021. Both went very smoothly. I was back at work in 4 weeks after the first (I had to be driven to and from work, but was able to move about on one crutch). I would have been in a similar situation this time but have retired. Dr. Jacobsen is easy to work with. He laid out and discussed all my options and made time to clearly answer all my questions. His staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Takes time to explain options and procedures. My procedure was successful and recovery was as anticipated.

Dr. Jacobson was very thorough in his description of the procedure both pre-op and post-op. He made sure I understood what to expect. I was completely satisfied with his explanation.

Both knee replacements are a success. Dr. Jacobson is skilled surgeon and provided all the tine needed for questions. He set the correct expectations for both what he was going to do and what patient needed to do.

After being seen by two other specialists, I saw Dr. Jacobson. He felt I had a rotator cuff tear so ordered an MRI. He was correct and subsequently did surgery to repair my large tear. He was very honest about the surgery and stated it has a 6 month recovery! The surgery went well, tear was larger than he thought, but I’m doing well. I think besides his great surgery skills, the block I was given in my neck for pain was awesome!

Dr Jacobson is very warm and caring. He listens to me and addresses my concerns honestly and thoroughly. He performed my knee replacement in late July and contines to follow up with me. Dr Jacobson's nurses really impressed me with their kind, yet professional approach to patients. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Jacobson and Capital Orthopedics to any of my friends or associates.

Dr. Jacobson is a cheerful person who explains very well and answers all questions and concerns completely. His procedures are done very well. I am thankful he was recommended by my primary physician.

Great staff to work with.

Quite pleased with my knee replacement that Dr Jacobson did. I had put off for several years and now in hindsight wish I had done sooner.

Dr. Jacobson is very professional and kind. He explained the surgery, preparation for surgery, costs and recovery plan. Great surgeon!

I visited Dr. Jacobson twice, many years apart. I found him professional, competent, and willing to listen. I will continue to go to him on an as need basis.

Dr Jacobson is the best and so are his nurses. He takes great care in treating my knee. The shots I get last a long time.

As with my past experiences with Capital Orthopedics all options for my problem (knee this time) were discussed and all my questions were answered. We then set a plan of action.

I've been going to Dr.Jacobson for over a year. He listens to you, when you talk. He cares about your pain, your going through. Example: I was they're today, because about a few weeks ago, I had two cortisone shots in each knee. I have arthritis in both my knees. The pain usually goes away in a couple days. This time, it didn't effect me at all. I was still in pain. So he had me take x-rays to see what's going on. Well come to find out, I have no cartledge in my knee. Thank you Dr.Jacobson.
