Terrible, no pre-op and no hospital check. Check up after hysterectomy he said the surgery was my cure for endometrial cancer stage 1a with no need for chemo or radiation. Cancer recurred 2 years later at the vaginal cuff. Just finished chemotherapy in July, 2021.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hogan. He is so personable and so skilled in what he does. I was told by one of the nurses that she would fly across the country to have a surgery done by Dr. Hogan. I agree.

Dr. Hogan performed my recent surgery. There was no pre-op appointment to address my questions and concerns. He showed up right before surgery and asked if I had questions as they were about to wheel me to surgery. He did not visit during the hospital stay, and when I called his office with questions after discharge, my call wasn’t returned. I cancelled the follow up appointment, because he clearly has no interest in his patients.

We went to see him after traveling 4 hours. He kept his appointment on time and was very thorough and fantastic about giving me information to better handle my diagnosis. He also set up other appointments with Drs while I was in Santa Barbara to save having to make repeated trips. His staff is terrific and gives me confidence that I am not alone in this journey. I now face surgery a lot calmer and know I’m in good hands.

His office staff never gets back to you. I've contacted them numerous times, including submitting medical history and notes from my referring physician. I have finally decided to see another physician and have told my referring physician that it is useless to refer to him.
