William Bruce Harrell

Dr. Harrell is a brilliant Urologist. He is smart, yet humble and very personable. Dr. Harrell pinpointed a kidney issue and his conservative treatment approach was not only the proper manner to manage the issue, but also was less stressful to my body and didn't create further issues. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Harrell for Prostate issues. I am highly displeased with everything about Dr. Harrells staff,his personal demeanor and professionalism in general. I ask that he send by biopsy to Johns Hopkins for a second. I never heard back from him or his staff after calling to inquire. I found out later, while under the care of another Urologist that Johns Hopkins had completed the requested second months before......The second opinion was in my medical records!....no one bothered to call me or inform me. Hippocrates has apparently left the building at the Christus Urology clinic.

Dr B as he likes to be called performed the procedure without a hitch. Problems came after. He "assumed" I would get further treatment at CHRISTUS TMF. He was surprised I sought a 2nd opinion. I'm glad I did. Not only a 2nd but a 3rd where I learned Dr B had given me incorrect info! He lost credibility from that point forward. Trust is earned! I was surprised his office made in-house appointments without my knowledge or approval. I cancelled them and again sought other specialists opinions and took them. With Health Insurance that gives access to the best care why would I limit myself to TMF? I didn't and got excellent treatment elsewhere. I believe Dr B, in part, is following CHRISTUS orders by keeping business in-house. I fight the same battle with my PCP. I would give Dr B more stars for the work he did but the rest was unnecessary and stressful. The Patient Advocate Office was unhelpful. You are your best advocate. Protect yourself. Protect your life.

Terrible. I will not recommend a family member or friend to ever use Dr. Harrell. I had to go to another urologist to help alleviate the pain which was caused by Dr. Harrell's surgery. They gave me a scrotal block and cut the nerves going to the testical. I was told that his procedure would be reported. I still need to go to a pain management doctor for injections to relive the pain. I should have taken legal action. All of this is documented in my medical records.

I was admitted to the hospital with a kidney stone what ch resulted in surgery to place a starting by and later remove it. Dr Harrell was the caring Dr I have ever had the opportunity to meet. He was always concerned. I would recommend him to anyone needing a urulogist.

I was so glad I found Dr. Harrell the hard way. I had to go to the emergency room with a kidney problem. Well, Dr. Harrell took care of the problem with surgery. He is such a good man, kind, and patient. I would recommend him to anyone!

Very compassionate Dr. Was able to answer my questions and reassured me of his ability to take care of me.
