Dr. Fackler himself is wonderful! However, getting an appt with him is nearly impossible. His office called & left me a message; I’ve been trying for 2 weeks to get a live human to engage with…all that exists are automated phone menus & voicemails. No one has returned MY call to their original call. They, also, are explicit in saying to call the correct person for the proper physician and when you do as instructed the out going voicemail message refers you to another scheduler. It’s all a circular reference and a huge pain in the neck. It has been like this for the three years since my original referral. Their admin team & front office simply do not care about answering phones & doing their jobs. It’s all a racket. Dr. Fackler himself is wonderful! Dr. Fackler has been my gastroenterologist for over 20 years. He is outstanding in every aspect. He is extremely knowledgable, professional, patient and explains in detail procedures, progress and prognosis. I highly recommend Dr. Fackler and do anytime someone needs an excellent gastroenterologist!!

I have gone to Dr. Fackler for years. The beginning of this year, my liver enzymes were elevated. Dr. Fackler kept telling me it was something I was taking. I kept telling him I don't take any medications. He wanted to just keep a watch on the levels to see what they did. I did not feel comfortable with this and seeked a second opinion. Dr. Fackler is an excellent physician. I am confident in the medical care I am receiving. He is very thorough and explains well.

My husband was scheduled for an MRI by Dr Fackler. They forgot a very important follow-up, which was......where was he to go have the procedure??????? He called his OfC well over a week, only to get a voicemail & not only that, but, the voicemail box was full......so could not leave a msg. This went in for days on end. When they finally got around to call, they did NOT call the contact nbr on file. ALSO.......said they sent email that kept saying UNDELIVERABLE!!!!!! The reason: they were putting in an INCORRECT email address! The correct email & phone nbr were on file there in my record. It’s a shame when a Dr’s patients can’t make contact with anyone in Dr Fackler’s Ofc. Hire more help.......get someone that can answer the phone. Very disappointed in office response & no professionalism.

I am not sure about our experience with Dr Fackler as we can seem to get an appointment. It has been 4 weeks since my husband referral and 4 phone calls and STILL no appointment. Whomever (Jennifer) we spoke with trying to schedule the appointment was very rude. No one should have to go through this when trying to seek treatment.

Dr. Fackler performed both my and my wife's colonoscopy procedures and he and his staff were very professional and caring. The procedure that most fear was not an issue at all for either of us. Our primary care physician had recommended another doctor but we changed after the consultation meeting with that physician. I'm sure he was a fine physician but his staff did not act professional so we asked friends for references. Dr. Fackler was first choice of everyone who had dealt with him. He is our doctor and I would recommend him to anyone needing treatment or procedures from a Gastroenterologist. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Fackler. My 83 yr old aunt saw him on 5/9/18. Two weeks later her care giver called to inquire about results but got no return phone call. I called on 5/30/18, and no return call. On 5/31/18, I drove 30 miles to Macon to his office to inquire, and his nurse would not see me. The receptionist "gave her my message" and I was promised a call that day. It is now 6/4/18, (24 days after her initial visit) and STILL NO RETURN call. Are you kidding me?

Dr. Fackler is amazing. I love him and his entire staff. They are always so nice and I will not use another GI as long as Dr. Fackler is still practicing.

Dr. Fackler and his staff comes highly recommended. I have leukemia and scheduled knee surgery a week away, along with a rectal problem that occured unexpectedly. I called my FP only to hear that the soonest appointment was 2 months out. I called Dr. Fackler's office and explained my problem to Christy his phone nurse. She not only got me an appointment with my FP but also with a referal to a specialist in four days. I needed to see someone urgently before my knee surgery. Above and beyond!

In the past 8 years I have had 3 colonoscopies performed and each time I saw Dr Fackler two of the three times in post procedure appointments and only once in pre-procedure apointments. As I have Celiac Sprue disease, I actually expected to see him in person vs. his PA to discuss my results and condition.
