Recently saw Dr. Craig at OrthoCarolina last week for what turned out to be a tennis elbow issue. Scheduling was very easily done through the website for the Winston Salem office, couldn't get booked for the Clemmons location. Appointment went smoothly, very little wait time to getting checked in to getting back in a room to getting an X-ray to getting the doctor consultation. Dr. Craig was quickly able to diagnose the issue after series of movement tests and discussion of the issues seen. OrthoCarolina could be more transparent with the sharing of insurance providers accepted, otherwise the appointment was great. I'd highly recommend Dr. Craig. I always trust OC with my orthopedic medical concerns. I have been a patient in Charlotte for many years. We recently relocated to WS and Dr. Craig was available to see me quickly for arm pain. Saw Dr. Craig at OrthoCarolina in Winston Salem about a week ago now for what turns out to be a Tennis Elbow issue. Setting of the appointment was easy and the appointment service went quickly and good. Very little wait time from time of arrival to getting back into a room then moving to an X-ray and the doctor consultation. Everything went well, only thing that could have been improved is OrthoCarolina providing a little more guidance on the accepted insurance providers they accept. Highly recommend Dr. Craig. I have had leg pain and visited with Dr. Craig. He is very thorough, friendly, un-hurried, and obviously very talented. Would certainly recommend this fine gentleman!

Dr. Craig is very professional yet approachable. He takes time to engage you in conversation about yourself in an effort to personalize your experience. He listens to your opinion on what you feel may work best for you and tries to incorporate it into his plan of care for you if possible. My experience with Dr. Craig was very positive.

Has provided excellent care for a couple different orthopedic injuries over the last few years. Thorough with questioning and provides solutions to your health needs.

Referred by VA community services. Very polite and helpful. I was seen in a timely manner and appointment went as expected.

Doctor professional, informative and seems to really care about my issues. Staff extremely friendly and thorough. Definitely feel I’m in the right hands for my upcoming surgery!

I have enjoyed this practice along with having Dr. Craig as my physician. His staff is very polite, and they made me feel welcome when I came to the office. I felt bad for Dr. Craig having to come to the hospital when I broke my wrist, but I couldn’t have gotten a better physician. He is always very kind and makes sure you understand what has happened, what will happen and how we will get through the problem. Thanks for everything. I have arthritis in my knees but can’t take NSAIDS for the discomfort when I walk and hike. Dr. Craig took X-rays and recommended a shot in each knee joint. The shots did not even hurt! I have high hopes for long time relief.

Dr Craig took the time to understand my goals and personal situation before treating me. I felt confident that together we agreed on the best course of treatment. I would highly recommend Dr Craig

Dr Craig was Great gave me a Cortisone shot they always hurt but he did it quickly.

I was relieved when I saw Dr. Craig. I knew I was in good hands as there are some physicans that I won’t let them in the room. I guess you can say I am picky but when it comes to me or my family I won’t to know that I can relax.

Had shoulder injury, tried conservative treatments and surgery when conservative treatments were not successful. Dr. Craig was easy to talk with, very responsive and the surgery was very successful. I was a walk-in and they got me right in. They accepted my insurance, 1 star. They were polite and provided good direction, 1 star. The paperwork needed for a new patient was simple and completed on an iPad (I completed it before being called back-that never happens), 1 star. Dr. Craig’s diagnosis was spot on and he didn’t need to use a whole lot of tests which saves me money, 2 stars. This concludes my 5 star rating. Dr. William Craig is very caring and of a professional nature. I met Dr. William Craig on or about July 21, 2020 after a fall. It was later determined that I suffered a catastrophic knee injury. Dr. Craig displayed a family type atmosphere in his office along with exemplary bedside manners. Dr. Craig's smile made you feel welcome and his sense of humor made you feel comfortable , but when it was time to be serious and explain the details of your surgery Dr. Craig's serious professional face appeared. My leg settled down with a sense of safety and security just from the care Dr. Craig displayed and I knew I was in good hands. Dr Craig was very knowledgeable. He quickly diahniy my thumb paint and told me he would give me a cortisone injection and assured me this would help. I did not have to wait long to see him. He was very punctual. My visit was less than 30 minutes

I recently had rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Craig. I have received excellent care from him and his staff as well as the providers in their PT department. Recovery is moving along well so far. It will be great to have my arm back!

After falling down the stairs and totally my knee Dr Craig was able to fit me in for surgery immediately and is a fantastic surgeon. Dr Craig was perfect. I was able to see him the same day I called. He diagnosed my problem quickly and clearly explained exactly what I needed to do to help remedy it and he explained exactly what he could do to help me heal. He administered the treatment and I left confident in my recovery. Dr Craig is obviously quite capable and I trust him. Went for treatment for carpal tunnel on both wrists due to excessive knitting and crocheting. Dr. Craig was knowledgeable and personable. Had x-rays and received cortisone shots. Also, fast check-in and check-out.

Dr. Craig is exactly what I was hoping. Unlike most physicians he not only appeared to be listening to - he actually was listening. We were able to reach a solid plan in a short time because of this.

He answered all my questions I had, did everything he could and can to make sure everything was perfectly okay and that I was okay with.

Dr. Craig has done a great job keeping me active even with bad knees and shoulder, so far w/o surgery, but I would trust him to do the surgery if needed in the future.

Dr. Craig was very friendly and professional. He reviewed the records I provided and explained options for treatment. His staff was great too.

He did not handle my issues. He just took a couple pictures and then told me I was okay and bye. I have a childhood bone deformity that has gotten worse as I get older and he didn’t ask me about anything or any past breaks or bone problems. What a waste of time.
