The only medical establishment or doctor I've ever been to who actually takes the time to evaluate, diagnose, and explain the process. I've spent more time with Dr. Cole in two visits than I've spent with my primary physician in 7 years!

Dr. Cole and Dr. Kola are the best doctors you can have in your corner. I have never seen another doctor that was so invested in their patients and didn't consider them just a number. They take their time with you and ask your opinions on the treatments they recommend to ensure you are comfortable. You will not find a pill pusher in this office but rather a team dedicated to getting to root cause of the pain you are experiencing. Dr. Cole correctly diagnosed along with the proper treatment what a respected orthopedic clinic here in Sarasota completely overlooked. Thanks to Dr. Cole I am finally on the road to recovery.

Last summer, I had PRP injections administered by Dr. Cole to three areas of my body (my back, my hip and my knee) that were previously injured and degenerating due to arthritist. Within a month of the treatment, ALL pain was gone. 8 months later, I am still completly pain free in my knee and the pain level in my back and hip have gone from a 7 to a 2 and never again risen above a 2. Surgery was recommended in the past and I wanted to try everything possible before even considering surgery. I utilized accupuncture, chiropractic, yoga, massage, and physical therapy to manage the pain with limited results. PRP treatment has been more effectice and long lasting of any treatment. Dr Cole is amazing

Dr. Kola and Dr. Cole are both great doctors, they actually listen to what you have to say, very understanding and come up with the proper solution to your problem. Dr. Cole promised to find the source of my daughter's pain. Her primary doctor blew her off for 8 months. Nothing showed up on her X rays or MRI but Dr. Cole still didn't give up and he found the source of her pain just like he said he would. He genuinely cares about his patients and it shows. I had an amazing experience for my first time in the office. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. The office was clean. I had an outstanding visit with Dr. Kola. He was very sincere, listend to absolutely everything I had to say. He changed how I felt physically for the better and my psychological disadvantage that the pain gives. Dr Coles partner (Dr Cola) examined me and I had thought my problem was just the bulging disks and other problems with my back and he said that it was my right hip and offered injections right on the spot. I accepted and am sitting straighter, and no pain almost instantly. I was able to do laundry that night without using my step ladder and had no pain! I am so happy!!! He is amazing. I know what pain is, I suffered for many years with agonizing, excruciating, debilitating pain that never ceased but intensified day after day year after year, until I felt I was living in survival mode , all the joy in life vanished I was always very active, Independent , positive, forward looking, strong ,until one day in 1 second my life turned into a living hell. Not because of any fault of my own, had I been 1/2 a second faster or slower in my vehicle this would not have happened , but I had strong faith that this would pass. Many doctors (specialist) through the years with all their attempts were not able to alleviate even 1 oz of my pain. the only thing that seemed to work was the pain medicine which I hated taking having always been strong-minded wanting to be independent of any body or any thing other than my faith. The pain was so intense a scale to 1 to 10 it was a 20! I couldn't function in life anymore , sitting standing walking laying down it didn't matter I could not find any relief , I couldn't find any sleep making me feel I was losing my sanityy. Dreams and aspirations and any hope for the future.I honestly felt shell-shocked . Post-traumatic stress disorder is real it does not only come from being in a battlefield. It was up to me to be strong willed and only very least amount of medication and trying to skip doses when I was able to tolerate the pain I was very strong-willed not to become dependent on any substance. Over the course of a few years his exceptional skills he was able to find a way to block the pain that was overtaking my life. Dr Cole is the BOMB!! He loves his patients and treats them like human beings. You really matter to him. He actually listens to you and never gives up trying to improve your quality of life. Dr. Alex is also awesome! These doctors, this practice, and their care is unsurpassed ! You won't find better than Orthomed anywhere.

Not good. Went to him for left hip pain. After his diagnosis ........ an MRI of the right hip was ordered. I questioned the right hip order, Dr Cole confirmed the right hip MRI. Its the LEFT hip !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Additionally I feel the office charges were hugely inflated. In addition to the regular office visit there is a charge for (prolonged services) to the tune of $392.00.

When I first started to see Dr Cole, I was in so much pain, I could barely walk or move. He said that I had a "very angry body". His treatments have helped me considerably! As he's been "peeling away the layers" with his treatments (and very little pain medication), I'm able to function again! He listens, and he truly cares about his patients and tries to get to the root of the pain, and treat it accordingly! I highly recommend anyone in pain to at least come in for a consultation. I have referred many of my friends to him.

I feel sorry for my family members and their friends who have become users, sellers and addicts of oxy and morphine, after seeing Dr Cole for the past couple of years. Your reputation of being a pill pusher is why they go to you. So sad. So scary.

He maybe a bit hyper at times, but he is talented, caring and his treatments seem to be working. His staff is wonderful and speak highly of him.

I have been coming to see Dr. Cole for several years. We have tried different medications and treatments because some just didn't work for me. He is willing to make changes and try different things to make sure I'm feeling my best. I like that he offers many different treatments. He can also recommends medical equipment. The entire staff makes getting them and figuring them out easy. Everyone in the office is great and genuinely cares.
