William Daniel Caffrey

He gave me his best advice and made me feel like he really cares for his patients. Very nice and supportive.

Severe hip pain in a replaced hip joint is apparently bursitis.

Dr Caffrey is very thorough and straight forward. He tells you what he can do and refers you to someone else who can help with what he can’t. I appreciate a Dr that doesn’t beat around the bush.

Went for follow up after an ER visit for broken arm. Staff, Doc and processing could not have been better.

Calm demeanor, friendly yet still professional, matter-of-fact, good at patient management. Good at lay explanations of medical conditions and terminology. Uses lay explanations before medics ones which is really important for patients with anxiety and patients who don’t like doctors. I would go back to Dr. Caffrey and I would recommend to others.

I am so grateful for having Dr. Caffrey as my orthopedic surgeon. His bedside manner is excellent and he makes sure that I know my treatment plan. He always gives me different treatment options. I would highly recommend Dr. Caffrey.

Appointment felt rushed. Spent 95% of time with the Physician Assistant despite making an appointment with the doctor. Was fitted for a sling by someone who didn’t provide me instructions. Poor communication of next steps. I had to pay a specialist copay for a Physician Assistant. Go somewhere else where you can actually see the doctor you schedule with!

Did a good job on repairing my torn labrum and rotator cuff in my shoulder ...didn't think I needed back surgery after having a car wreck on the way to physical therapy after having an MRI done...looked for second opinion went to Dr Stern at Carolina neurosurgery and spine associates where Dr stern contradicted Dr Caffrey's opinion and couldn't believe Dr Caffrey said I didn't need surgery...ended up having four sets of rods and screws put in from my t12-l3 vertebrae so shoulder I give him five stars back I give him one averaging it at a 3. Unhappy he didn't see the damage done by that car accident to my spine...if he wasn't qualified to offer an opinion he should have referred me to a Dr specializing in that field.

He was great and informative plus reassuring about my up coming surgery! His PA on the other hand, I did not have a good experience with. Reinforces my thoughts that minority patients need advocates for them.

Dr. Caffrey is an excellent doctor. He performed surgery on my foot ten years ago and his surgery and after-care were excellent.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Caffrey for many years. He has helped me through an ongoing back issue over the years and has performed a rotator cuff and carpal tunnel surgery. I’ve always been pleased with his care.

Dr. Caffrey actually listens to me. He's been my dr. FOREVER and he understands I wouldnt have made an appointment to come unless it was something serious. He finds answers for me.

Only practice out of the 4 I called that offered a same day appointment. Dr. Caffrey bed side manner is very warm, caring, knowledgeable and he’s very thorough. Today’s experience was outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

I am a RN and Imade sure I was as educated as possible prior to my appointment. I also know specialists time is typically at a premium. That being said, at every appt he was irritated by my questions, I was continuously interrupted while inquiring about plan of care, dr spoke so fast I could barely understand him, and was rushed out of the examination room . I found a different ortho dr. But his PA is awesome!!
