Went there in 2015 for a routine physical. They said I have to do a initial patient thing first. This consisted of shaking Dr Biel's hand and him telling me to schedule the physical. Front desk tells me I have to schedule the physical 4 months out. I told them nevermind and called tricare to change my PCM. I changed it and love my Dr in Austin. Now I get a notice that I owe them $155 for a exam. Saying I came in with a head cold and it has been turned over to a debt collection agency. I'm retired military and have had tricare since I was 18 yrs old. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! They have ridiculous hours and the clinic has technology from the early 80's. No upgrades since I went there when I was 16 yrs old. They are just ripping insurance companies off and taking advantage of small town people. Small practise and awesome staff.

I have been using Elgin Family medical for over 25 years (since I was a child). Now they refuse to see me anymore because I am a healthy individual that only needs their service every few years or so. I don't pay them hundreds of dollars every year. Now I have to find a new doctor. Thanks a lot Dr Biel and Dr Sherman.
