Dr Baione gave me back my life. I was bone to bone for over 7 years in both knees. I had full knee replacement on the right side in Oct 2021. Full knee replacement on the left side feb 2022. I can walk, my legs are straight. I don’t have to miss out on doing things with my grandchildren.

Dr. Baione operated on me twice. Once for a hip replacement and just recently a bad fall. I couldn't have requested a better surgeon to perform those operations. I was well satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Baione.

Dr. Baione could not have been more attentive, and patient. After receiving the news that I, as an otherwise younger healthy person, needed a left hip replacement, I was devastated. He understood my apprehension, he spoke to me at length in the office, returned my calls, and spoke to me at length over the phone. He patiently dealt with my crying at each of our encounters. Each time stating that I had to be ready, and when I was he would be there. The surgery went better than I anticipated, he was the last person I saw as I was being put under, and while I was coming off of sedation, initially I saw him again, and I just remember him encouragingly saying, you did it! It’s over. I followed every post op direction, went to PT and was back to some encouraging degree of activity within 2 weeks. Now, at follow up, one year later, he was as thoughtful and informative as before. His expertise, knowledge, compassion, and patience helped me through this unexpected event. I highly recommend him.

Because Dr. Baione had high ratings, I went to him for pain on the inside of my knee. As a diabetic, I was at the same time working with a neurologist to come up with answers. When I returned to see Dr. Baione after negative tests results from my neurologist, he seemed annoyed and did an x-ray of my knee which came out negative. When I asked for an MRI, he stated that he can order it but that my insurance company would not pay for the procedure. Funny thing is that I went to another doctor who ordered an MRI. Guess what? I have a meniscus tear which is what was causing the issue. Unbelieveable.

Dr Baione did a left total hip replacement. Outstanding surgeon I highly recommend. Zero pain two days after surgery. He is the best and I am so glad I found him.

I developed a hip problem, which was diagnosed by my primary physician. She directed me to select an orthopedic doctor for a consult. Since my family had excellent previous experiences with UOA, I selected this group. I was assigned Dr William Baione, who was fantastic. He reviewed my films and made a recommendation that an entire hip replacement be undertaken. After a short period of time, I elected to have the surgery performed by him. Everything about his demeanor and approach were wonderful. I was given a very thorough, yet simple, explanation of the entire process, including potential outcomes etc. I had the surgery performed at JSUMC and everything went very, very well. He was completely attentive and supportive, as was his incredible and kind staff. The surgery went nearly exactly as he explained and with his support and that of the affiliated rehab team, my recovery was quick with minimal disruption to my life. Broke my femur which also impacted my hip (ball and socket) taking a tumble on a bicycle. Dr. Baione, who just by luck happened to be on call) performed the surgery which involved a total hip replacement (his recommendation vice less optimal alternatives) using the Anterior method. He explained the entire procedure ahead of time, but to be honest I was in so much pain, I only comprehended small parts of it. Post-Surgery, I did all the required exercises and PT recommendations religiously. During the first follow up visit with Dr. Baione, he took the time to answer all my questions and also used a model of the entire titanium and ceramic structure and explained how it worked in detail (my engineer persona really appreciated this). Recovery was much faster and easier than I anticipated after those first few painful days. I cut the grass with a push mower 2.5 weeks after the surgery with no real problem! I had hip replacement surgery. The surgery and everything leading up to it went very smoothly. Dr Baione was very clear in all of this explanations.

Dr. Baione performed two total hip replacements using an anterior approach. I could not be more pleased with the procedures and the results. I am 81 years old and was up walking the very first day of the procedures. The office is extremely well organized and efficiently arranged for the physical therapy this surgery requires. I was pursuing normal activities (gardening, walking, stair climbing, workout activities) after six weeks. I especially appreciated Dr. Baione’s clear explanations of the procedure prior to the surgery and during post-op visits. I am very happy that I chose him to be my doctor!

Called to make an appointment after just leaving the Emergency room and the lady at the front desk was very judgmental and rude and she assumed that I could not pay for a visit based on my speech impediment and had the audacity to suggest I go to a clinic

Very pleasant and easy to talk to! Explains everything. Immaculate office and everyone is very nice!
