My wife and I have gone to him periodically for over a decade to treat dermatological issues, including rosacea, squamous and balsamic tumors. His care has always been friendly and effective.

Wish I found Dr. Alms much sooner. My previous doctor was all about trying to sell me cosmetic procedures. Anything I needed, medically speaking, required a separate appointment after the consultation. And I waited and waited in the waiting room and in the examining room. NONE of this with Dr. Alms. Took care of me SO efficiently--I was in and out in 30 minutes total, and had some minor things removed. But even though he was fast, he wasn't impersonal. Explained everything he was doing and why, minimized the pain, and made great, friendly conversation as well, which put me at ease. Wholeheartedly recommend him! Wish I found Dr. Alms much sooner. The best dermatologist! Dr. Alms has been treating my teenager for acne for a year now. Before him I took my son to different dermatologists and they did not take their time to sit with a patient. Nor Dr. Alms! As all other derm offices tend to rush you through the appointment, Dr. Alms takes time to explain and make sure you are left feeling at ease about your health. He never pushes for stronger medication and listens to the patient before advising. I can't stop raving about this doctor!
