I could not ask for a better doctor and medical Team! He is an amazing doctor .. compassionate, knowledgeable and actually explained everything so well that I did not even have questions. Highly, highly recommend him!

Dr Nieves saved my life. I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. My treatment plan was chemo to reduce the cancer. I received my first chemo treatment. And the following day I got very sick and thought I was going to die. The cancer had blocked my intestine. I had emergency surgery by Dr Nieves. I had to have Colostomy. Dr Nieves was very kind and respectful. He answer all of my questions. I am very grateful! My colonoscopy was reversed . I am now NED (No evidence of disease. of disease)

Dr. Nieves-Neira is an extension of God's hand. I was a Heart Transplant patient when I was diagnosed with ENDOMETRIAL CANCER last August.DR. Neives-Neira took time and extensively explain during procedure and after side effects S and Sx and possible complication. During and after pathologic result..NO microscopic cancer cells found in my body and the best thing was, He fought for me to be back on the Heart transplant list. And I got my New Heart Nov. 2018! Praise Jesus.

Having experienced 4 1/2 years of freedom from Endometrial Cancer including a hysterectomy, it reappeared, externally (a rare situation). Dr. Nieves-Neira has shared his compassion, knowledge, understanding, time and energy in incomparable ways. Thanks to his expertise, he performed additional surgery resulting in clean margins; I am now getting use to an aromatse inhibitor to fight future cancer growth. His vigilance, honesty and respect for my concerns, coupled with his pleasant demeanor and knowledge, are my greatest gifts. He truly cares about me as a patient and as a person; he is on this journey with me and I am so very grateful.

Dr. Nieves is a compassionate doctor and excellent surgeon; he put me at ease during exams, surgery prep, and then follow-up treatment.

He was my doctor and surgeon when he was practicing at Sylvester Cancer center in Miami. I was upset he left. I have not found another with as much professionalism, compassion, and foresight. I would consider flying to see him if it becomes medically necessary.
