The BEST primary physician. He is intelligent and keeps up with the latest information in his field, and a big plus-he is smart about vitamins, etc., which is extremely rare in a doctor. He listens and acts positively to what you say. The office management needs a huge upgrade, sometimes they are friendly and competent, other times they are rude and no one answers the phone, so in order to see this wonderful doctor you will have to put up with those annoyances.

They will tell you they are not accepting new clients, be grateful!! Only $$ Matters Your initial visit with Dr. Abrams is great, he is very attentive and seems to understand and have resolutions to all of your concerns. What happens next is extremely frustrating. You will never see Dr. Abrams again unless you want to wait over a month for an appointment with him, staff will tell you he is not seeing patients. While his wife (one of the nurse practitioners) and Savana are very nice they are only there to collect your money. I asked if they could please schedule my lab work before my annual visit, they said no. This is so they can collect the $40 "virtual" visit fee. I have a chronic condition but I cannot have medication called in or even get an order for a test at labcorp or quest, Nope - They have to collect their $40. The staff has not been friendly in the past although the person I spoke with today was kind and understanding but I'm sure she is required to follow their procedures.

Great Doctor! Very helpful and always listens and has time to talk. Only issue is getting an appointment within a timely manner.

Dr Abrams and his other healthcare providers in that office are very thorough, professional, fully explain everything and very accessible. I really like them!

I have been a patient for over a decade but in the last few years, the level of service provided leaves much to be desired. From cancelled appointments because good old doc doesn't feel like going to work to excessive waiting times despite appointments (minimum 1 hour wait pretty much anytime). It came to the point, where I did not even try to get an appointment with the doc and decided to see Layda. Unfortunately, as of recent, she is no longer working at Abrams Medical Center. Now I can barely get my prescriptions refilled. I ran out of a medication 5 days ago and despite 4 detailed phone messages (since nobody seems to be picking up the phone at that place at all) as well as multiple on-line attempts. After a week and a half of trying to contact Abrams, I finally get a call back, only to be rudely told NOT TO CALL THE OFFICE for refills. It really appears that this office is truly geared towards selling more and more stuff rather than taking care of patients. NOT RECOMMENDED.

His caring demeanor, his knowledge of traditional and holistic medicine. The approach to healing the body medicine, not just treating the symptoms. When he tells you what you need to know, not just what you want to hear. How do you want your doctor to be? For me is Dr. Abrams, I am not insured, is crazy to paid over $6000.00 dollars per year, and still paid the $3,500.00 dollars deductible before the insurance pays for the medical checkup visit. So out of pocket it is. He is the best option to get your money’s worth Thanks Dr. Abrams and his team

The doctor will see you...in 7-14 days or more. Times are always during working hours and if you ask for an early morning appointment they will tell you next month or longer. The doctor seems too busy to really care about you. Feels like a production line and they’re just trying to get you out of there. There are far better providers in the area, avoid this doctor

Terrible doctor. Scheduling is bad. Office is not very helpful at all. They will charge you for a misses appointment and won’t wave the fee even if you explained that sometimes things happen and you were forced to miss the appointment

4 HOUR WAIT TIME THEN THE PA SAYS I HAVE TO GET A BLOOD TEST BEFORE SHE CAN DO ANYTHING ... I WAS GOING TO SLAP HER DOWN RIGHT THERE ..IT WAS HER LUCKY DAY ..NEVER WENT BACK !

Can’t say much about the Dr. because I was never able to see him. This office has turned into the typical Dr.’s office nowadays. The M.D. doesn’t have appointments for months but you can see a P.A. tomorrow. After waiting for 3 months for a physical with the M.D. they canceled on me twice. When I requested to speak to a manager because it was ridiculous, they said she works from home and wasn’t available. When will this stop? We need to stop agreeing to be seen by people other than the M.D.

Absolute worst Primary Care Physician! He should really reconsider owning his own practice as he NEVER returns patient’s calls or his staffs when they call on behalf of a patient. He seems to never be in the office to refill Rx. I’ve called 4x in 3 days & left voice messages everytime for a Rx to be refilled. I was given the excuse they’re short staffed & therefore forwarding phone calls to voicemail to avoid it ringing in the office. This is patient centered care, Dr. Abrams????

Don't waste your valuable time trying to see this doctor. Staff is extremely unprofessional and will have you wait over 1 hr. while they shatter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this practice at all. Doctor is never available either!

Would NOT recommend Dr. Abrams to anyone. First visit was great: hopeful I'd found a doctor who was knowledable & who would listen to his patients. Scheduled follow up with him at 2 weeks to prescribe medication based on lab results.Day of: not available so saw PA, not knoweldable & couldn't answer questions. Scheduled follow-up specifically with Dr. Abrams to adjust new medication & concerns.office called 2x to confirm.Day of: office called to cancel 30 min prior: he's going on vacation 1 Month

The office doesn't keep appointments and even when they do, plan on sitting in the waiting room for 1-2 hours. Dr. Abrams is a good doctor but his business needs a lot of help from a customer service standpoint.

I became a patient shortly after he opened his office. When I got sick and went to his office, I only had a check. Mind you, they previously accepted checks, but changed the policy without notice. He refused to see me or bill me for a lousy co-payment. In compassionate and ethics should be questioned. Who turns away a long time sick patient who always paid for a very nominal co-payment? WEST KY ABRAMS DID. THAT'S WHO!!

I will never recommend this Dr.Abrams to anybody today 7-5-16 is the third time since January that this gentleman said that he will not be in the office today. I when to my appointment at 9:00am and the the office girl told me for the third time that the doctor will not be in today. This guy shouldn't be practice medicine because he dose not respect his patients he does not have any consideration for my time, gas and health anyway what's the purpose of having a doctor if you can ever see him

never see the dr just the pa. visits always rushed. pa disregards concerns. no after hours/emergency number. difficult to get through to anyone on the phone and when you leave a message, rarely get a call back.

Dr. Abrams, Layda & Diana are awesome ... the office staff is force to be reckoned with. These ladies are very rude. Let's just say, when you call the office, you have to keep your fingers crossed that the phone will be answered. I waited15 minutes to pay, while they chatted amongst themselves, meanwhile the telephone was ringing. Horrible office staff!!!!

Office staff is horrible! I signed in and they didn't even notice and kept me waiting. I arrive 5 min late for my apt and then they say I need to reschedule. How unprofessional.
