Dr Scoles had a good bedside manner but he wouldn't address my medical needs to my satisfaction. Even as my own advocate (I'm a nurse) he wouldn't even do basic tests/labs and even medications. Stay clear of him if you are a marginalized mininority. Simply stating a fact.

Wow, my co-worker highly recommended this doctor/facility who carry’s the exact same insurance to try this guy out, “he’s awesome”! Well maybe awesome to whom he chooses or fits to his liking! I have NEVER been declined medical services by a general practitioner for no reason at all! Hmmm maybe there is, but I won’t go there! Keep your practice bud I’m good! I’ll spread the word though trust and believe!

When was the last time you had the flu and doctor sent you home with no meds and told you if you got really sick, go to ER? That is what Dr. Scoles did for my COVID. With the flu they always give antibiotics to prevent bacterial pneumonia. And like he said, COVID is nothing but inflammation, why did he not give dex and antibiotics like so many doctors are. When I told them I wanted to do monoclonal antibodies, they said they did not believe in them. What???? They would not even make a single phone call to enable me to go to close facility for treatment. Since then I have started a fib and they were supposed to refer me to cardiologist. I called them many times asking for referral, but they have never returned my multiple calls and it has been a month. Luckily, my insurance does not require referral and I finally made my own appt. If you want a caring doctor with staff that returns your phone calls, I recommend you go elsewhere. I have.

Dr. Scoles has been my primary physician for more than twenty years, from my middle age to my old age. He is the finest physician I have ever had. Ever. Anywhere. He is brilliantly smart, highly informed, deeply compassionate, and utterly engaged in my welfare. Jefferson County is fortunate to have him.

My wife, who is a type 1 diabetic, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was experiencing some minor complications that she wanted to get seen about. Went to Dr. Scules and he did absolutely nothing for her. Was a complete waste of her time to see him. Fast forward 2.5 weeks and she reaches back out to this office due to some chest pain and fatigue post COVID-19. Calls first thing in the morning and leaves a message detailing her issues and urges the Doctor to call her, that was FOUR DAYS AGO! If your concerned about your health and need to be seen, don’t waste your time with this office! Love this doctor!!!

I love how friendly he is and he always makes sure you are comfortable and all of your questions are answered.

Today was our first visit with Dr. Scoles. After reading fantastic reviews I was excited to finally meet him. He is FANTASTIC with our daughter (1 year old) and seems to genuinely care about his patients well being. I am so excited to have him as our family doctor!

Dr. Scoles takes the time to make sure you understand what your condition is and what you need to do.
