I had a very bad aortic valve. I was very limited. I was short of breath sitting in chair. No one would operate on me. Medicines did not help me. I saw Dr Pedersen -he did an operation that fixed my valve. I can now do things like go to mall and walk around without any breathing problem. Thanks Dr Pedersen. Excellent Outcome

I went to see Dr Pedersen many many years ago - before implantable valves. I had aortic stenosis. I went to 3 heart surgeons and all three said they would not operate (too high of a risk). I then had an aortic valvuloplasty - but the valve restenosed in 6 months. I was told I likely would die within a year. I THEN WENT TO SEE DR PEDERSEN FOR THE FIRST TIME. I then had repeat aortic valvuloplsty FOLLOWED BY RADIATION. This procedure worked for 4 years and then I got an implantable valve because Dr Pedersen enrolled me in a study. Since I got this implantable valve I can do whatever I want. THANK YOU DR PEDERSEN. You are a superdoc.

Dr Pedersen put a new valve in me without heart surgery. He saved my life.

Best cardiologist I ever had

My mom had a heart attack. She collapsed on the soccer field. Dr Pedersen did CPR and when the medics arrived, Dr Pedersen told the Medics to shock my mom. My mom eventually recovered. She got a implantable defibrillator.

Great Cardiologist. Save my mother's life. An empathetic, kind person that spent a lot of time with my family helping us understand things. After discharge from the hospital Dr Pedersen and his staff followed up with her frequently.

The best doctor of any kind I have ever had. He is my cardiologist. I have had numerous cardiac arrests (heart stops, I pass out and require CPR with heart shocks) over past 20 years and he has kept me alive. A true lifesaver! I would highly recommend him to anyone with heart problems.

10/10 he gives me 5 dollars every time he sees me, nice person my dad convinced me he was pregnant once

Dr Pedersen is an absolute professional!! I have NEVER been treated so capably and compassionately!! Since my visit, I have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, and am being treated within the Abbott system. And I must mention that the level of professionalism, patient care, honesty, concern and helpful attitudes is astounding! I live in Duluth, and would probably have perished by the end of this year, had I not been introduced to the Abbott system. Dr. Pedersen is a very smart doctor, but he is way overbooked. He recommended surgery for me, told me he would oversee the hospital, but I never saw him in 8 days of being there. I had complications from the surgery that still exist. He never informed that I get the complications I got. I needed immediate medical attention and he was MIA. Then he stood me up at a follow up appointment after waiting for him for 1 1/2 hours without a good reason. I do not recommend him at this time.
