Dr. Hilger is the only doctor who has really taken an interest in my incontinence problems. He took a lot of time consulting with me about the problems, and did many tests which proved the extent of the problems. He acted like he had all the time in the world to assist me. I feel grateful to him for his care and concern. I am scheduled for a sling procedure in less than a week, and I feel very confident that he will be very successful with correcting my problems. The first time I walked into his office the staff was so welcoming. From the receptionist, the nurses and the assistants are all professional, thorough and respect your privacy. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Hilger. I needed surgery for bladder prolapse, and Dr. Hilger explained everything to me. My surgical procedure has been a life changer for me, and I was very surprised at how little pain I had post-op the first week. Very controlled with over the counter meds (I was sent home with stronger meds but never really felt the need to use them). The one thing I really want to get across is how every time I have seen Dr. Hilger I always felt like he had all the time in the world to be sure I understood and answered all my questions. Very professional, very thorough and a excellent bedside manner.

I learned to manage my bladder problems.. he takes time to teach, train, explain.. gives ‘hat,’ to measure bladder capacity, has teaching nurses, good dynamic urologist

Dr. Holger is highly experienced, and capable, and communicates well. He explains in detail with pictures exactly what his intervention will be. I am a registered nurse of 40 years experience and am pleased to highly recommend him. It has been 10 months since my pelvic prolapse surgery, and I am doing well. It was very painful the day after surgery. Even though my insurance wanted me to go home, I still required IV pain injections and was dizzy from my usual low blood pressure compounded by the medications needed. The nurses tried their most forceful to get me up to walk as is their duty, but the dizziness was too much the morning after surgery, so I refused. I did get up that night. Dr. Holger allowed me to have the extra day I needed to get the pain under control, so when I was discharged I was able to do well even with a catheter in my bladder for a week and on oral pain meds. Very professionals

Dr. Hilger and his staff are fantastic! They are very professional and sensitive to the needs of their patients. I had a very successful treatment for stress incontinence and it is amazing to no longer worry about sneezing or coughing any more. I would highly recommend Dr. Hilger and his office.
