Dr. Wenshu Yu

I have left multiple messages over several weeks and I can’t get ahold of anyone. I’m trying to pay my bill and nobody will call me back. This has been my experience since I became a patient there. I can never get ahold of anyone. This has been so frustrating.

Worst medical experience I have ever had. Although Dr. Yu was extremely nice, her office staff leaves much to be desired. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone in the office. They never answer the phone, they do not return calls when messages are left and they are just rude on those rare occasions when you can contact them. The office manager is the worst and refuses to listen to what you are saying. He basically calls the patient a liar, even though there is documentation to back you up. My recommendation is save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Patients need to be able to get a hold of their provider, to be treated respectfully, and valued.

I have been her patient for about 4 years since moving to the area. She is extremely thorough, and considers all my conditions, not just the one she is seeing me for. I find her to be friendly and very intelligent.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Yu and I found her thorough, professional and helpful. I will return in a few months for a follow up and feel I have finally found someone who can help me.

Dr Yu is an excellent doctor of Rheumatology. She has a welcoming manner and is extremely thorough, as well as an excellent listener. My other RA doctor is in Clearwater Florida and I far preferred seeing Dr Yu. Not only is she a better all around doctor, but also better educated.

I recently changed rheumatologists after seeing Dr Yu for over 2 years. My most recent visit with the new doctor revealed that RA was not the culprit in my big toe, but rather a bone spur that broke off and lodged between the joint causing extensive damage that needed surgery. Dr Yu had xrays done, but didn't bother to review them when I told her I had pain. Instead, she told me to stop feeling sorry for myself because some people (namely her) had worse foot problems. Seems I'm not the only one.

I have been going to Dr. Yu for about 8 years. My biggest complaint about her is her lack of a bedside manner. She has started arguments with me and continues to insist I have a type A personality because I challenged her accusations. It all started when I had to reschedule an appointment due to a change in my work schedule. Their office received a few days notice from me, but she was so aggravated during my re-scheduled visit about it that she tried to chew me out the length of the visit.
