Dr. Weiguo Zhao

I love Dr. Zhao, I usually have a lot of questions (because I do a lot of researching on the internet pertaining to my symptoms) and he answers them very throughly. The staff is very friendly as well.

Dr Zhau is great. He helped me find the med that works. Only issue is they are open limited time and I was told By HIS WIFE that I needed to find a new doctor because I can’t come in at a certain time. She is very rude and won’t listen and work with people. The staff is the one that scheduled the appointment and she always calls and cancels them. I feel sorry for the staff. They lost a great receptionist because his wife is horrible. Dr Zhau is great. He helped me find the med that works. Dr is thorough and caring. He takes his time to explain things and listen to concerns and follow up. His staff are very kind, including his wife, who helps with patient assessments and scheduling.

Very disappointed and mad to say the least. Had an eeg scheduled at 11 am. Was told to sleep 4 hours or less the night before and to call when I got there to be let in. I arrived at 10:40 and called. No answer. Tried again at 10:50, 11:00, and then at 11:10. Left after that. I tried to call one last time at 11:30 and still no answer and the voice-mail was full. Received a call at 4:30 pm asking to reschedule for next week. Yeah, I think not. Calling my Dr tomorrow for another recommendation to another neurologist! Very disappointed and mad to say the least. terrible place to go. rude, dirty office. i really mean dirty. the doctor is soso. the secretary is so rude and that is his wife. go anywhere but here.

Double dips insurance companies. Just precribes pain meds. Nice guy though.

Left papers at the doctors to have filled out. They were “lost”. Faxed them in two separate occasions, even called to make sure they got them, yet they were never filled out and my $35 I paid to have the doctor fill them out was never refunded.

Drs wife is horrible to deal with!! She was asked to print my 3 pg emg report, said she needed 1-2wks noticed and you have to prior to sign a med release and then pay $1 per page. When it takes the woman 30secs to hit the print button. Very difficult to understand english as well even the Dr is hard to understand him. The office has poor phone service, meaning you call n call n call n call and all you get is a message, once in blue moon someone might answer the actual call. If you leave a message that is if its not full, they take 4 Ever to call you back. Horrible system. What they cant afford an receptionist beside the rude wife? The Dr was polite and test was great but other than that id say go somewhere else. I have neuropathy and he didn't change or prescribe any meds for me. What he does my EMG and thats it? Wow!! He should of wrote n changed my gabapentin meds to higher doses. Guess ill be going to a different neurologist....so good luck if you choose this one. He needs to fire his rude wife. Can not call a person in the office. Have asked for record to be transferred to another dr 4xs. These drs usually work together. As I’m taking to him he walks off and acts like he doesn’t hear my question.

This facility is full of idiots. Tell me they cant accept my insurance but when i tell them why im referred to them they ask for my insurance numbers . Hmm why if you dont accept it, the lady on the phone wasnt trying to help whatsoever and also told me she had no referral from my doctor but they are the ones that called me on the 29th due to a referral. no wonder he has a 1 star rating. Dr. Zhao is a terrific Dr. His mean money hungry wife leaves a lot to be desired. She has caused him to lose patients. I am one of those patients. It's sad I viewed Dr. Zhao as family. I never had that with a Dr. before. So good luck on going here. Watch out for the dragonlady.

His office was filthy. Dirty gauze, swabs, and cotton balls, and used Kleenex, from previous patient(s) procedures still on the same instrument table he had set up for me. Trash on the floor, thick dust on everything! He washed the instrument and then set it back on the dirty table. His nurse was wearing house slippers. Another was rude and even mocked me after I asked to pay by check so I didn’t have to pay the CC processing fee. His office was filthy. Love this doc! He was my doc years ago but then I moved away. I'm moving back to the area and will be so glad to have him as my doc again! 10 stars for him!
