I had to see him while mine was out for what I thought was a typical infection but ended up being a pretty devastating diagnoses instead. He was extremely rough in his exam, and sample collection - gave no indicators or preparation of what he was doing and had zero empathy or bedside manner. I left feeling literally violated and hysterically cried the entire day to get the news I did from someone so cold and awful. I literally had to stop my husband from going to the office to confront him it was that bad. He gave no instruction, no advice, no information on how to move forward except a small print out he handed me out the door. He didn’t even tell me if there was a prescription he called in, I had to go back in after I calmed down to ask the front desk about prescription notes. I may be more sensitive then most, but to not be conscious of potential PTSD, or triggers in your handling of such a situation is irresponsible and wrong. He shouldn’t be practicing, period.

Very terrible experience. Never gave me a clear answer never payed attention to the symptoms I was giving very malpractice. Dissatisfied

My regular gynecologist was on vacation, so Dr. Trout was assigned to insert my IUD. He did not communicate well what he was doing during the procedure. He basically ordered me to relax rather than trying to figure out why I was so tense and ease that. After the procedure, I was still writhing in pain and unable to speak more than a few words (a stress response that I experience) when he told me to schedule my follow up at the front desk, and just left the room without asking if I needed anything or addressing any concerns that I had. My experience with Dr Trout was average. There was a long wait time once I arrived that stretched the visit our way too long. However, the office staff is so horrible and unprofessional that it makes me not ever want to return.

Dr Trout delivered my baby girl last week, and was really great through my pregnancy and delivery. My mom had a stroke 2 months before my due date and I now care for her at home, and he was very thoughtful in allowing me to plan an induction so I could make sure someone was home with my mom and my other two kids while I was in the hospital. I had a terrible experience with my last OBGYN, but Dr Trout is definitely a keeper. Highly recommended. Dr Trout is very nice

I have been a patient of Dr. Trout for over 20 years. I never have had to wait weeks to get an appointment scheduled! Dr. Trout is very professional and he keeps current with all the newest research; findings; and practices. He also helped me through a difficult time of menorrhagia (heavy bleeding) and gave me alternatives to manage this condition, without having to undergo a hysterectomy!
