Dr. Wayarne A Harlan

Very very rude and short with me. I was shocked

Dr. Harlan was rude very cold towards me, this was the initial visit it was worst the second visit . The office schedule a pelvic ultrasound it was completed when i returned to her office expecting the results staff informed me that Harlan wanted me to have another pelvic exam in her office , at this point not only was I confused but disappointed I knew my insurance would most likely pay for two pelvic ultrasounds. Harlan came into the office not happy with me questioning her decision and that was not to have another one done because it would be another out of pocket expense and why is she asking me to get another exam? She claimed, it was blurry didnt come out clear. I called the hospital with a complaint they called me back saying Harlans office said the results came out clear there was nothing wrong. So not only did she lie Im also worried if she told the truth about the findings. I wouldn't recommend anyone to her .

Rude, impatient, condescending

It was very insightful. I learned something new about interpreting the results of my most recent mammogram, thanks to my doctor.

I was and still am disappointed about the check in process! I took time to complete the check in by computer the night before! Once I arrived at the office there were more paperwork to be completed! The most annoying thing was asking the same questions I responded to via computer! I appreciate Dr Harlan's kindness, but on this visit I felt she was in a rush !

Dr. Harlan and her staff were excellent. I didn't have to wait to be seen, and Dr. Harlan explained everything to me so I could understand. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

I love Life Stages and Dr Harlan

Dr. Harlan was very caring and listened to my issues. She was very informative and treated me with respect. She helped with my prescription and hopefully my issue. Will return to her if ever needed.

No concerns. All of the staff members that I was in contact with were professional and pleasant. Dr. Harlan is always easy to talk to and does not rush through the exam.

Staff was more than exceptional! I did have to wait for an appointment but all was good in end. I will definitely pass Life stages on to more people.

As a blind individual, I was truly impressed with Dr.. She offered me to touch her face and touch her hair so that I can determine what she look like. No doctor has ever offered that courtesy and to me that was very personal and inviting. I greatly appreciate it and it took my anxiety level to a zero thank you so much.

Dr. Harlan and staff were very kind and informed me every step of the way of what to expect and what my follow up would be.

I will be looking for another provider. My experience was terrible. She was very rude and walked out without saying anything. I told her I had concerns about my mental health and my HRT and she said "do you want me to up your medication "? That's not what I wanted.... I wanted someone to look listen to my concerns and have some suggestions on possible alternatives, instead I got rude and non compassionate answers. Very upset of the way I was treated!! Hopefully I can find a new companionate provider within the practice. Otherwise I will be leaving which I do t want to do because the rest of the staff is nice ?

Everything is done so quickly, seems challenging to make sure you are getting everything you need in terms of information, but I also appreciate the ability to get more things done at once as well.

My provider demonstrated excellent customer service skills and also initiated extra steps by helping me to schedule other appointments with important providers that I need to be seen by this shows me that my provider really cares about my OVERALL health. My provider is the best!

Dr. Harlan was kate to my apple. Then yelled at me and left the room came back and asked me what i wanted to do about surgery. I said I wasn't ready and she threw up her hands yelled down the hallway to cancel my appointment and did not come back in. Rudest doctor ever! No empathy or sympathy

This was my first visit to see this doctor and she was very nice, easy to talk to and I was very comfortable during my checkup. I definitely would recommend her to anyone.

Wayarne Harlan and the nurse who walked me back were not friendly at all. Harlan was very cold and the whole appointment felt rushed. I did not feel comfortable and will never come back or recommend her to anyone.

It was as quick and painless as possible. The staff were so kind, and I am sure that Dr. Harlan so busy that she only seemed impatient.

The provider was seeing me like I was someone to cross off her list of patients for the day and not like an actual person. She read nothing about me and told me she needs to finish fast and did not hear me at all. She dismissed my concerns and didn't really want to have a discussion.

I loved everything about this office and visit, the receptionist, the nurse, the doctor, her MA and the check out receptionist. Highly highly recommend

I scheduled an appointment and was not seen until an hour later due to an emergency... that's understandable but what was not understandable was not giving a common courtesy to send someone in to me to let me know that the doctor is delayed due to an emergency. Common courtesy goes a long way and heavy irritation that it caused could have been minimized.

I would like to reschedule an appointment with a different provider. The main reason of my appointment was to get tested for something and the provider didn't want to test me for it she said it wasn't "important ".

Probably could have provided update via chart. I have a few things going on with my health and I think they are related. But not sure how to bring it all together? Family physician, gynocologist and colon doctor. I'm working on it

My doctor was very thorough and explained it perfectly. I felt her compassion and I will definitely keep her as my doctor for the future. I really appreciate her treating me like a person and not just another going through the process. I feel blessed to have her as my primary gynecologist.

What everyone else said. Completely dismissed my concerns saying “I don’t know what that’s about” and prescribing something for it anyway? Not very reassuring when a doctor says they don’t know what’s causing something and still giving a prescription. She displayed terrible bedside manner and I don’t think she even introduced herself to me when she came in the room. Exam felt extremely rushed and like I was being treated like a cadaver instead of a person.

Everyone is very pleasant. The Doctor explained everything in terms that I understood and is very nice.

She spent no time with me. Very fast and not enough time to ask anything about myself.

I messaged the nurses with my concerns and asked if I needed to come in for an appointment. They said to schedule so that's what I did. I spent 5 minutes with the provider only for her to not even run a single test feel like this could have been done over the phone or through My Chart.

This provider took 30-45mins to come in, she brushed me off when asking questions, didn't order a blood test as asked and I didn't feel cared for. Will not be using her again.

Dr. Harlan is wonderful. She takes the time to answer any questions I had. I appreciate doctors that take the time and really care about the patient.

This was my first time at this provided. I was very impressed with the team members and the doctor. Definitely a positive experience!

Dr. Harlan needs to work on her bedside manners. After my appointment I check her reviews on google 1.4 stars and I see why. She didn't address my concerns. If she doesn't want to see younger patients, she needs to put that in her bio and let other doctors know that as well.

I didn't appreciate how I showed up to my 10:30am appointment at 10:22am and then I got called back at 10:45am only to have Dr. Harlan come in at 11:03am and she was done by 11:07am I felt like I waited forever only to be rushed out by the physician.

I'm still waiting on my results, but I believe my visit was excellent.

I felt very rushed and my concerns were made out to be non-issues. The total amount of time she was with me was maybe 5 minutes. I will not be returning.

The phycisian I saw, was short with me and seemed irritated with me. I came in to talk with her about my prescriptions and if it was possible to change them.

This provider really took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions that I had. She was very thorough in her explanations and spoke in a way that was easy to understand. She gave me an opportunity to ask more questions, if needed, which I didn't have any. But I felt heard by this provider and better understood my previous test results and my medical conditions because of this provider.

I was treated with the utmost respect, I always have. Dr. Harlan is so easy to talk to that's why when I see her I really enjoy our visits.

Listen to my concerns

Staff was excellent. Physician spent extra time speaking with me about importance of retiring. She also provided information about aromatase inhibitors and effects on the uterus, and solutions for vaginal dryness. All greatly appreciated.

The staff and the doctor were very nice answering all of my questions that I had .

She has no bedside manner or respect for her patients. She does not look at any information of the patient, especially if there are notes from the family doctor of certain things she does not care about the concerns or questions that the patient has, and she puts her own beliefs down the patients throat, even though that is not their beliefs. She has no respect for the patient.

Everything was good with the provider but the wait time is ridiculous. Appt. at 10 go back at 10:20 then another 15 mins wait after.

Provider was not very personable. First time meeting with provider & didn't not speak other than to tell me to find a primary provider for my blood pressure.

Need to be on time for appointments. If I have to be there early, then wait past my appointment time, it makes me late returning to work.

First time I had Dr. Harlan. Loved her. She was proactive about my health, and about a test result that came up. I was very pleased with my visit.

This was the worst experience from this doctor and her assistant that I have ever had. Very unfriendly, uncaring, not personable at all. It was a feeling of "wham bam, thank you ma'am... she talked a mile a minute and I couldn't express how I felt or my concerns....I feel if you wake up in a bad mood just stay home. It's not the patient fault, we did nothing but try and get our health in check. Her assistant too.
