Dr. Brandes over books his pts and isn't very attentive and dosent answer questions and this man even went as far as to dictate our visit Infront of me claiming I said things I didn't say and even claimed I smoked cigerets which is what caused my nose problem. Sad part is he didn't even fix my nose, I had to call him after hours because my nose was gushing blood all over my bed when I went to sleep. That was a waste of 500$ ER visit because even then he still didn't fix it. He put gause and over the counter moisturizer in it. His office staff is completely unprofessional and rude. As someone who works under brandes in the hospital I can definitely say he is probably one of the last choices if my nose ever needed to be fixed. As a person brandes, you are great to talk to, but as a doctor, man you need to step up your game. The front desk ladies are rude, unprofessional, snide and sarcastic. I didn't even get to see the PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT before I wrote this review. Let's hope the next part of this visit is better....somehow I doubt it

My name is Rick Haley and I had surgery last April., 2021 and Dr. Warren Brandes was my surgeon. Today was my one year follow up visit and Doctor Brandes said that everything healed well. He is an outstanding doctor and did an incredible job. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brandes to anyone looking for a good ENT Doctor. His Nursing staff and Receptionists are very efficient and polite. Thank You for a Job Well Done!

Diagnosed my problem quickly and put treatment plan in place. Had Sinus surgery with relatively minor discomfort afterward. Was even called by Doctor Brandes to check on my progress after surgery. Great Doctor would recommend to anyone with ENT problems. Thank you Doctor Brandes.

The Best DR for sinus and ear infections

I've been seeing Dr. Brandes for over 30 years. He is a wonderful ENT doctor and also a great plastic surgeon. He follows up after surgery and really cares about his patients.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. brandes. He doesn't communicate, he doesn't listen or take his Time, he doesn't remember conversations, he didn't do the job he promised. My nose is crooked, I had to get a second surgery to fix my internal broken nose because he did a terrible job and still couldn't breathe and the other doctor concurred. He hasn't followed up with me at all. He simply doesn't care, he overcharged my insurance also, like $40k!! The office is not clean and it's a zoo. Staff is under qualified and some are very unprofessional. I do not recommend him at all. Go see Dr Douglas kubec he's amazing and I should of went to him first! Hi Saswati Chakraborty here. I visited Dr. Brandes on account of parotitis, associated with severe pain. My PCP recommended me to him. Well to be precise, Dr. Brandes himself saw and understood the whole condition carefully, dilated my salivary glands and instructed me thoroughly about the situation and put me on another antibiotic. On my next visit, which was after 4 days, I was already feeling better as he clearly instructed me the steps I needed to follow. My CT scan was all good, however he spent enough time to answer all my questions and treated me with much patience. The most important part is, there was no waiting time for his appointment. He just took me in with one call. He is very humble, tremendously meticulous and an expert with 50 years of experience. I visited other ENT too, but he is excellent in terms of professionalism, knowledge and experience. If you are suffering with any issues of ear nose throat, please visit him. He will cure you for sure.

Dr. Brandes and his staff were great. Had a balance test and tech explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Brandes was also very thorough. He actually listens and cares about his patients. Dr Brandes did my son's treatments and surgeries 15 years ago. I'm currently in his care for a tumor in my sinus cavity and a deveateted septum. Talking to my family doctor i found out this is where she takes her child. He knows his work and is a training facility. I trust him 3000%. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for an appointment, but well worth it. I also fully trust his residents and have complete faith in his work. I've found one or two office staff a bit rude, but I've found more of his staff to be more helpful and kind. I've also seen many customers rude to them at times, because they were late and demanded to still be seen. I've always been kind and patient and I've not had problems in 20 years. I've been putting off surgery for personal reasons for 4 years and then Covid happened putting it off an additional 2 years. The tumors in my sinus cavity had grown up, in, inverted, hanging down my throat and possibly thought to have grown into my brain wall. Plus biopsies on 3 types of tumors during surgery. With Dr Brandes care and judgement call and assistance of another doctor I got through a 6 hour surgery. I was terrified and suffered from P.T.S.D. of hospitals/ doctors. Putting off my surgery to the point of life or death situation. Dr Brandes knowledge, understanding, compassion and his medical team pulled me through my appointments and getting me into surgery. My quality of life is so much greater and I'm thankful beyond words for Dr Brandes and his staff. Dr Brandes comes off straight to the point, on point and professional. I'm grateful to have chosen him for my son 20 years ago and over the last 6 plus years he saved my life. Just got my nose cutterized, sent home and started bleeding again. I came back, panicked and crying. Ive been drowning on my blood for a week straight 4 times a day. They turned me away at 4:55pm because they close 5. They said they couldn't take care of active nose bleeds and said they didnt care if i was there 5 minutes ago. I was referred to follow up there at the ER next door and i refuse to go back. That doctor was really rough with my nose. I dont recommend this guy in a million years. Waited 1.5 hours past my appointment time to get called back. I had to not only fill out the new patient papers (I did that at home but had all of the following info already on it) but I then also had to repeat my current and past medical situation, medications, etc THREE times to 3 different people. I didn't even get any kind of exam, the doc just basically told me there's nothing he could do to help me, (I've been experiencing terrible allergies, congested popping ears and scary vertigo). He wasn't very understanding or kind. I asked the front desk receptionist upon my arrival if the doctor was running on time or not. She said, "No one has complained otherwise". Then they allowed me and the other patients to wait up to 2 hours past our appointment time, (I overheard the other patients saying how long they were waiting for). Terribly unprofessional to keep a whole waiting room hanging like that. While during a pandemic, you would think that there would be someone checking people's temperatures upon entry of the medical building. Nope. They have you wait for 1-2 hours past your appointment time, sitting in the waiting room sharing the space with others until you are finally called back. Absolutely terrible experience with this doctor and the ENT surgical associates facility in Madison Heights, MI. My boyfriend has had 4, now trying to get 5 appointments here and has no idea what's happening or what the conclusion on his nose is. His last appointment was for 3pm this last week and he waited an hour and a half for Dr. Brandes to walk in, tell my boyfriend he had to check his insurance, looked in his nose and told him the same thing he's been told 2 times already at different appointments and then said "we'll contact you". I'm writing this because of how frustrated I am. He cannot breathe and it feels like these people are just milking his time for insurance money. We want a straight answer after 4 appointments and a cat scan. He's also been tossed around by multiple doctors here. Totally ridiculous. Dr. Brandes and staff are great. They're very busy because he's a GREAT doctor and surgeon.

This was my 3rd ENT after loosing hearing on my left ear.. and it was the charm .. Dr. Brandes is very good and knowledgeable. I am very grateful I came to this office.

Dr.Brandes is an excellent doctor he’s kind and caring he did my surgery and called me the day after to see how I’m doing. He’s also an amazing surgeon, he makes miracles happen for real.

Dr. Brandes has been my doctor for many years now. He is very professional and has a great bedside manner, making sure to answer all of your questions. Had a Septoplasty and Dr. Brandes did a phenomenal job. I’m so happy that I can breathe out of my nose perfectly now. He also has also has great bedside manners. Would recommend to anyone for septoplasty.

I saw Dr. Brandes on December 1st, 2020 and he had a serious heart to heart talk with me about losing weight. No one has ever before been able to do that to me. My life was threatened and I promised him I will do what he tells me. I saw him again yesterday on December 20th and he was happy to see how serious I am and he is very happy with my improvement. I will never ever forget the long serious look he had in my eyes. Dr. Brandes was a God send to me. I cant thank him enough and I feel good. I firmly believe access sugar is poison to our bodies. I haven't touched sugar since that day. I dont miss it either. I am walking the talk and no turning back. Thank you Dr. Brandes!

I went to Dr. Warren Brandes last month (September) because I broke my nose and had to get a septoplasty and rhinoplasty. It was an amazing and easy experience. The surgery was quick and I had no bruising at all, only some swelling for around 5 days after the surgery. Dr. Brandes made my nose look very natural and was very helpful throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brandes!

I had the best experience from Dr. Brandes than any other ENT. He motivated me on my weight loss, confirmed it wasn’t due to a thyroid concern by referring me to the best endocrinologist Dr. Edelson, who followed up with his notes. Schedules multiple people for the same time slot. Didnt find this out until 2 women started complaining and realized all 3 of us had the same appt time. Care is also iffy. He spent 5 minutes in the room with me , no goodbye. I didnt get to ask him questions after he suggested surgery before even doing a biopsy. He just walked over to the room across from mine to begin their appointment. Office is old and outdated for Beaumont . So is the equipment. Doesnt look very sterile. I felt horrible after seeing one of the assistants had a brown roach/bug in her hair. I didnt want to embarrass her so I didnt mention it. I told 4 wrong diagnoses, by a doctor I had been going to for 2 years, but Dr. Brandes gave me the correct diagnosis his first time seeing me. I had to get a cat scan before confirming that I needed surgery, but 2 other doctors confirmed that needed surgery after looking at the cat scan as well. A week after surgery I feel great, and with no pain at all. Great job by the doctor and his staff was just as great!

Best and nothing less!! Extremely professional, polite, and knows exactly what he's doing. I was misdiagnosed 3 times from another ent specialist and my primary care doctor, but on my first visit Dr. Brandes told me that I would surgery, but to be sure I needed to get a cat scan. After the cat scan he said I needed the surgery, but I was thinking no way I need all that after one visit (he after money), so I went to 2 other specialists that after looking at the cat scan confirmed that I needed the surgery. Today I'm a week post surgery and feel great, no pain and all gain. Thanks to Dr. Brandes and his wonderful staff, that were also a pleasant surprise!

After an incorrect diagnosis of my hearing issue by an urgent care doctor & my primary care physician, I was referred to Dr. Brandes. I was beyond anxious of what caused my SSHL. Dr. Brandes nurse, Monica, was one of the most compassionate and empathetic nurses I have ever met. She treated me like a family member & for that I will be forever grateful. Dr. Brandes is an exceptionally dedicated & experienced health care professional who was very thorough in his diagnosis & treatment of my SSHL. He immediately scheduled me for a brain MRI & had the results sent back to his office stat. The MRI came back negative. He was able to then begin a series of steroid injections into my middle ear. I am grateful to be able to say my hearing has improved significantly. I would refer any family member or friend to Dr. Brandes. He is straight-forward in discussing your diagnosis. Without Dr. Branes & his dedicated team of professionals I would undoubtedly be deaf in my right ear.

Dr. Brandes is a very compassionate, conscientious, and professional doctor. I had minor outpatient sinus surgery. After I went home, I developed a persistent bleeding problem through no fault of his. Living an hour away, I went to a local ER where they couldn't fix the problem. Dr Brandes was in constant contact with them. I was sent back to the original hospital by ambulance. Together with Dr Anthony Howard, they were able to solve the problem. Dr Brandes called me at home on a Saturday and had me come in for several follow-up visits to ensure no further problems. Every time that I have been in the office the staff have been very efficient and friendly. Dr. Anthony Howard impressed me with his warm empathy while portraying self-confidence and professionalism.

Waste of money. Nothing done to my nose that was discussed. He only raised it. Upper bone, length & width not touched.

I had an accident with my right chin where the trauma went up my tooth, my right nose and eye, and probably healed irregularly, and i started showing bizarre symptoms where I felt sensations on the parallel sides of my body, felt a clotting pain behind my nose and eye, radiating thru my zygomatic/temporal bone (probably cuz i struck my infraorbital nerve marked by acne ONLY on the right side of my face DUE to decreased oxygen stimulation), and my nose healed crookedly, pulling my orbit inward. He dared insinuate that i had psychiatric problems **(NEWSFLASH DOC PSYCH PROBLEMS ARE NOT SCIENTIFICALLY TESTABLE, SCAM TO PROMOTE YA FAKE DRUGS and crossover symptoms, yea i went there.) cuz his lazy radiologist said nothing "looked" broken, well what if it healed irregularly you sped, couldn't that compress a nerve? Now my right eye feels spaced out, i feel a bubbling/vibrating sensation when i move it inwards, and my insurance is gonna raise hell. For a doctor that went to a DO school, he doesn't seem to understand that pain is referred, and all body parts are connected together. I’d much rather a doctor admit he was wrong than seem to come off like he’d rather be right and let a parient suffer. Visited doctor Brandes to fix my nose because I had difficulty breathing through it and I wanted to get it cosmetically fixed because it was unfitting for my face. After an MRI detected a sinus mass I was referred to Dr. Brandes for surgery and biopsy. The mass was completely excised and determined to be a nasal "wart". I found Dr. Brandes to be compassionate, caring (called TWICE over the weekend to check on me) and extremely thorough in his written surgical report of my encounter....highly recommended!

Dr. Warren Brandes is an exceptional medical health care professional. I recently called the office to report that the medications prescribed for me earlier in the week were not alleviating the horrible coughing I was experiencing. Dr. Brandes called me himself on a Friday, after hours, to speak with me and suggested additional alternatives. He then followed up with another phone call on Monday to see how I was doing. He is one in a million!

I had a septoplasty and Rinoplasty done by Dr. Brandes. . It turned out better than i could have hoped. I can BREATH!. He also reshaped it and it looks GREAT!! I did my research of many plastic surgeons and went with Dr. Brandes because of his expertise of the structure of the face. He is an ENT. Do not have a septo or rino done by anyone other than an ENT. Dr Brandes is the best. Office isn't fancy like the other plastic surgeons but my nose looks like a million bucks!

I know many people that had a rhinoplasty by Dr Warren Brandes... 1 person out of 8 didn't like their nose after. That 1 person is who showed Dr Brandes a picture of a celebrity's nose. Dr Warren Brandes advised him that it wouldn't look good on him and he continued to want that particular look. I just got my cast off today. I cannot explain how happy I am with not only the way it looks but how well I've already healed. Dr Warren Brandes is experienced and knows what he's talking about. Dr. Brandes is the best. He listens and does fantastic work. I am not very trusting but he made me feel comfortable. I had my nose surgery 6 years ago and I can breathe better than ever again and no more headaches!

Warren Brandeis is rude and arrogant to the point that he made a family member of mine cry the day of my surgery. Thank goodness for a compassionate doctor that the family knows who happened to be in Pre-Op area talking to his patient before surgery, to comfort my family member. His office staff is very unprofessional and rude as well. They have no idea what they are doing. If you value your health, DO NOT go to Dr. Warren Brandes. He is extremely forgetful and has NO bedside manner.

Since Dr. Rochen left, the place became horrible. The staff are rude and the turnover is high. Recently they had to close this location because so many people have left. While waiting for my shot, everyone in the waiting room complained. Patients are treated like they are inconvenient. Waited to change allergists because I thought they would be difficult. They were. I've had severe tonsil infections in the past and needed my tonsils taken out. My Aunt told me about Dr. Brandes, who had taken hers, and my younger brother's tonsils out. Dr. Brandes was beyond great, from my first office visit to my post-surgery check up! Everyone in the office is very freiendly and down to earth and makes you feel comfortable with no worries at all. Dr. Brandes is the greatest example of a professional, humble, and warm-hearted Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.

I couldn't agree more with Karla and safayath.. yes office staff .. have some integrity.i was treated so unfairly . I got yelled at and they made up a policy on the spot to make me pay more . But I can't say anything bad about dr Brandis, he's an excellent doctor and very professional unlike his staff !!

I actually never made it to Dr. Brandes, as prior to actually coming in for my scheduled appointment, I spoke with what appeared to be the laziest individual I have ever encountered. The woman's name was "Sandra", so she says, and when I called to verify my appointment time 48 hours prior, the manner in which she responded was unacceptable. I subsequently asked to speak with a coworker or staff supervisor, but Sandra informed me that there was "noone else working right now", and as such, I asked "so you are entirely alone?" and she said, "I'm going to hang up now!", before proceeding to actually hang up. I could not believe the response I received. I called back and spoke to her coworker, Monica, who was polite but equally as lazy/unmotivated. I simply asked if my referral was in and requested my appointment date/time. Monica said she "couldn't pull it up right now", because her system wasn't set up for this. She could not tell me if my referral was in nor could she tell me what time/date my appointment was scheduled for. I had to push for these answers before they were willing to respond with answers. I cannot believe the service I just received. Needless to say, I have since cancelled my appointment and will seek care elsewhere. Just horrible service. My doctor office called in a referral to get my stiches removed. As I stood there waiting for my appointment, doctor brandes told his staff to tell me to return back to the emergency department to have my stiches removed. Smh what kind of service are you providing? Who tells a potential client that? Another specialist gladly welcomed me with open arms. My insurance company will hear about this. Just horrible service. UPDATE: I will keep what I originally wrote and update here like I said I would. So, I went to see the doctor on the 19th of January, the front desk staff didn't look like they wanted to work there, bored, and zero enthusiasm. When I arrived the place was very busy and waited about 2 hours to see the doctor, I didn't mind the wait as they gave me paperwork to fill, which passed the time. Anyway, the staff who were working inside(not including front desk), nurses and doctor Warren Brandes, were very nice and caring. They checked everything and explained everything thoroughly. They also went out of their way to see if my plan covers hearing aid, which it does. They also found me a company that takes my plan, and gave me their contact info. Overall, past the unpleasant front desk staff, everyone was quite nice and caring, and I had an overall good experience. Its one of the reason why a 1* turned to a 4*. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Wasn't originally going to write this but I have to. I have hearing loss and I feel pain in my ear. Anyway, to make an appointment here I needed a prescription from my primary doctor which took about a day got the prescription on 12/18/16. Called and made an appointment on 1/9/2017 (earliest possible), today (1/6/17) they called and said the appointed doctor is on vacation and that his nurse is going to see me. I said its not okay as I want to be seen by a doctor, I would have been fine with the nurse if I didn't need the prescription. So they said the doctor will return on 1/25/17, I said to change the doctor if it makes it possible to get a sooner appointment, they did and the soonest they could get was 1/19/17. Literally, waited 1 month to see a doctor for my ear problem... While the pain in my ear is getting worse and worse. To the doctors and staff working here have some integrity. Its not okay to require patients a prescription to see a doctor. On top of that not even bother seeing the patient and ask if its okay for a nurse to see them instead or reschedule, cause the doctor is on vacation/unavailable on that day. Why even bother giving us the option to set an appointment at that date in the first place? Anyway still haven't seen the doctor, and might go to emergency rather than see the doctor if the pain increases any further but will update later if I do decide to go and see the doctor. But as a first impression its not a good place to go to and I recommend you avoid this place, and ask you primary care doctor to give a referral to a different doctor instead. Dr Brandes did my septoplasty and rhinoplasty. I have amazing results. I'm very happy with the way my nose looks. It looks a lot better than what it was. He absolutely made it look perfect. I get so many compliments. The surgery went very smooth, I rarely had any pain afterwards. I definitely recommend him if your looking to do these surgeries.

The office is always very busy. There are usually 10 - 20 people in the waiting room. I normally have to wait 30 - 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before seeing the doctor. Not impressed by Dr. Brandes. Rather impersonal and doesn't get to know me as a patient.

My experience with Dr. Brandes was wonderful. He was very informative about my procedure and what would take place as well as he was willing to answer any of my questions at any moment they may have arrived. It was nice to feel like I wasn't just another patient to get through, but that I was actually someone looking for answers and he was going to do his best to give them to me.

I was in a boating accident and Dr. Brandes treated me in emergency. I had 2 followup appointments and was very satisfied with his care and the outcome.

I have had four surgeries all failed until, I was recommended to see Dr. Brandes. He is the best ENT doctor a person could dream of. He preformed the best surgery ever and now I can smell, taste and most importantly breath. Thank you Dr. Brandes! My only dilemma is wait time is too long and some of the staff are rude especially at the end of closing. Not professional when dealing with patience besides that it's the place to go to find relief :-)

Dr. Brandes is absolutely amazing! He is a very talented Dr. He did a great job on my surgery and I am a very happy patient!!! I highly recommend him.
