Warren R. Amos

I have had radiation in years past at a large medical facility, but the care with Dr. Amos and his staff was better in many ways. He is attentive and is up-to-date on current treatments for the cancer I have. He is personable, knowledgeable and he and his staff extend the same courtesy and respect to your support person. And as for his staff: everyone involved in my care, from the receptionist to all the techs, were excellent! Kind, respectful, and treated me with dignity and with consideration for my modesty/comfort. For having to deal with cancer for so many years, this was the experience I wish all patients had.

Everyone that I encountered at Genesis Care from the doctors, nurse and the technicians were very professional and caring. They went the extra mile in my treatment and care and I am always glad my cancer treatment was with such good people.

Dr Amos and his entire staff was kind , compassionate, caring, listened and knowledgeable of best treatment options. It is already stressful to the patient hearing you have cancer and this Doctor Amos shows he cares. I highly recommend this Dr for anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, and treatment.

This office, the doctor, the nurses, and staffmembers went above and beyond to help me during cancer treatent, to get the necessary scans to see if I still had cancer and helped me through a very tough time. Highly recommonded!

The people are very nice, but I was badly misdiagnosed by Dr Fossum, and it’s led to problems. I went in with pain and swelling in my groin. Dr Fossum examined me and said the pain and swelling were the result of an enalarged prostate. I have previously had an inguinal hernia repaired, and told Dr Fossum the symptoms now were very similar. He told me in no uncertain terms, “you don’t have a hernia”. He seemed offended I would even question his diagnosis. The pain and swelling, of course continued. When I called Dr Fossums office I was told he was on vacation and if there was a problem to go to the ER. So I did. It was there I was properly diagnosed with a hernia. I went almost 6 weeks treating it as though it was simply an enlarged prostate. Now, this isn’t life and death. But, it’s the arrogance of an old doctor and the indifference of the woman I spoke to on the phone in the aftermath that bothers me. I guess that’s why it’s the PRACTICE of medicine. I have lived in numerous places and have visited a few doctors. I can assure you there are much better options than Dr Fossum and 21st century. I had stage 3 throat. Dr Amos said that he could get rid of it. Well 35 radiation and 5 Chemo treatments and it was gone. One year later. In two weeks, I will have a check up and go for another Pet scan. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be good. Dr Amos and his staff are great people and know what there doing.

Dr Amos, is that one doctor that makes you feel he is more of a what other questions do you want me to help answer instead of do you have any other questions kind of doctor. He explains the hardest concepts in the easiest manner. He will never make you feel like you are taking up his time and is probably the one doctor that will have you ask him more questions than you thought you were going to. He is extremely compassionate and caring and knows that you are there for him to help save your life. Dr. Amos and his entire staff are in a class above. It's hard enough to find out about having cancer, advanced. Every interaction with Dr. Amos, his staff, was marked with compassion, kindness, professionalism, expertise. I recently finished 33 radiation treatments. My case was some complicated, required revision of the original treatment plan. Dr. Amos and I discussed options, he made sure I was fully informed. We agreed on a course, he consulted with my medical oncologist, (had chemo concurrent). In addition to ensuring I had all info, we met weekly for updates, medical status check. Dr. Amos is the combination of a true professional, expert, who practices with compassion, dedication, consultation. I would strongly recommend him, his practice. Thank you All!!

Dr Amos was spot on with his diagnosis and get well plan. He is well respected within the Oral, Head and Neck Cancer national community. I would recommend Dr Amos for any type of cancer radiology required.

Dr. Warren Amos , Is a wonderful caring Doctor. I credit him with saving my life . He went above and beyond what is required of a Doctor .I will be forever grateful to him .
