Answered all our questions. Genuinely seemed concerned and was very thorough and did not rush the appointment.
My dad visited Dr Trombold in May 2018 with a cough that would not go away. Dr Trombold gave him cough medicine, told him basically it was âold person coughâ, and that he didnât need to see him again. October 2018 during a visit to the ER from a fall he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. April 2019 my sweet dad died of lung cancer. Dr Trombold did nothing to research, diagnose, or help my dad. He was 82 and never a smoker, but it was Dr Tromboldâs job and clinical responsibility to consider something more sinister might be going on. We never imagined lung cancer, but Dr. Trombold should have investigated the possibility since the chances of lung cancer in non-smokers is much higher than we realized. It was Dr Tromboldâs ethical responsibility to pay more attention and take greater care, and he failed. If you love your family member do not trust this man.
Dr. Trombold listens, answers questions so a non doctor an understand. Seems to want to get to the root of the issues going on with his patients.

As a nurse, I had worked with Dr. Trombold in the past and lo and behold when I got seriously ill a few years ago, guess who was the pulmonologist assigned to my care. Over a several day stay in the ICU, Dr. Trombold provided exactly the care I needed, made me smile even when I could barely breathe and kept my husband very aware of the work being done to save my life. I would recommend this physician to anyone needing a truly good doctor! I wish he had not moved away from Wichita KS!
