Walter A Koltun

I was diagnosed with extreme Crohn's Disease in 2009 and was dying from the disorder. I was on every medication under the sun for treatment but nothing was working. My Dr. sent me to Hershey Medical Center for an examination with Dr. Koltun and he told me that I needed to be in the hospital immediately. Dr. Koltun was extremely thorough, professional and compassionate. After we went over the results of his exam. It was decided that at this point, surgery was the only option to save my life. A few days later the procedure was done with much success and the operation saved my life. Dr. Koltun's follow up care was incredible and he told me whatever I needed or any questions that I had moving forward regarding my post op treatment, that I was to immediately get a hold of him to address any concerns. I did have a few questions following my surgery and usually within 24-48 hrs., I had a response from Dr. Koltun. 10 years later I am alive and kicking and I would recommend Dr. Koltun anyone!

I was 19 when doctor Koltun saved my life of a ruptured bowel and my Crohn's. I wish I could tell him of how greatful I am to still be around 18 years later.

Dr. Walter Koltun is a god, started out as patient in his study. Dr. Koltun pulls no punches. If you don't want the truth and want everything sugar covered Dr. Koltun. I trust him with my life and would recommend him to anyone....thanks Dr. Koltun for everything. Kelly

My mom's care was terrible. When She was so sick he spoke to her in a nasty tone and adressed her concerns with irritation. He actually yelled at her. He may be a skilled surgeon but make sure he knows you want him not a student intern. My mothers procedure was botched because this happened. Karma will catch up with you Dr
