Walter Hickman

Dr. Hickman changed my life!...I came to him with a whole host of problems from autoimmune thyroid issues, insomnia, anxiety, to back/neck issues you name it. I was a mess and had about given up. But Dr. Hickman to the rescue! He gave me the most thorough exam and listened to all my concerns and got to the bottom of what was going on. With adjustments and the addition of the great new light therapy program he's had me feeling better than I've felt in years (autoimmune disease is now in remission!). Thank you Dr. Hickman! And a big thank you to Kris for keeping the office laughing and on track. She's the best!

Love this Dr! Helped me and my wife and especially my wife during pregnancy. Dr Hickman took his time and explained the process to us and we felt very comfortable. Will always go back to see him.

I have had outstanding results with Dr. Walter Hickman of Your Family Chiropractor. He has eliminated the need for me to have back surgery due to spinal degeneration. I didn't realize there are many different types of chiropractors, just as there are many types of doctors . Dr. Hickman uses the "Gonstead method", ie drop table, that allows for precise adjustments. He is very skilled and knowledgeable in adjusting the spine. I still go for maintenance treatments every couple of weeks, but if you're on Medicare it is covered. Medical massage therapist Jimmy Simerskey also works out of this office. He is also extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He will relieve all of your aches and pains. Jimmy has to be the best medical massage therapist in the Houston area. Office manager/receptionist Chris, also will make your visit pleasurable. An over-all great staff in a small personal office. I have had a discectomy back in 2016 and yet another back injury along with stenosis in my neck and I’ve been suffering for a long time!! I currently go get steroid injections which currently only work for a few weeks now. Since starting with add Hickman my lower back pain and neck pain have gotten sooooo much better!! I almost started crying in my last visit with my results!! I was very scared at first because the last dr contorted my back and I never went back! Dr Hickman doesn’t do that. He has a Siracusa bed so that he doesn’t have to do that to you. I highly recommend him! I am taking my 78 yr old father to him Friday!! Next I will have him work in my crazy feet!! ????. Since I heard great thing about Dr Hickman from a friend and decided to give it a try. I had pain around my tailbone everyday 24/7 and sharp electrical spasm up my back thighs for many years and can’t sleep through the night with the pain. All my doctors I have seen in Vegas from Family doctor to many differents pain management and Specialists and OBGYN . They actually don’t know what is the root of my pain but think it’s Pudenal Nerve so I tried many treatments but only get flare up pain afterward. Dr. Hickman is very patient, understanding and explain everything he do. I was hesitant at first but living with this annoying pain 24/7 I am willingly to try anything. After my X-ray he already knew what going wrong with my body. He think my SL joints are not working normal as it should. My first adjustment was nice. I actually feel lighter than before. I didn’t winced when I sat in the car because it’s alway painful and pressure in my tailbone area if I sit down. It’s was awesome! I had only 3 adjustments done because I had to get back home to Vegas. I slept like a baby 6-7hrs which I had never slept through the night for many years . I didn’t have to take my Med constantly like before . Imagine it’s only short time and I improved a lot. I will definitely fly back to see Dr Hickman again and this time I will make sure I stay longer to get treatment and off my Med for sure!! Thank you so much ! By far the best Chiropractor I've ever been to. Very efficient and effective in his method of treatment. Very one on one with his patients. Great bedside manor. He has helped me tremendously with all my issues, from sciatica to vertigo to even bells palsy. Just moved to area and looking for someone as good as my doctors where I moved from. Willing to listen to how prior doc's were successful in giving me relief from degenerative sections on my spine.

Dr Hickman is the best. I've not waited more than 10 minutes for an appt. He always make me feel great afterwards. He doesn't take all insurance plans, but does have cash plans.

Been seeing Dr. Hickman for five years at least now. Called this morning for appt. and was able to get in today. Back and neck feeling lots better. He's the greatest. Recommending him to my neighbor today. Love the staff.

Dr. Hickman got me walking again without pain! I travel two hours round trip to see him, and he listens carefully to my symptoms to make the right adjustments. A big plus for me is that he is a Gonstead Chiropractor and continues to receive additional certifications. In addition, his staff is fun, friendly, and helpful. Thanks Doc!!!

Dr Hickman was great! He had me ready to rock and roll in no time.
