I tried many different doctors for many years during my late teens/early 20's, but once I found Dr Fitz, I was saved. Most down to earth, cheerful, helpful Dr I ever had. I've been his patient for over 20 years and have recommended him to several friends and family over the years. 20 years may seem like an excessive time to still be seeing him, but he keeps my meds in check and I've had my relapses now and then and he always sees me through them. Can't say enough about the staff either, Jess is amazing and always friendly and helpful. Liz is also a great manager and can't forget Brian who is always right on the ball. a couple of new hires recently, but I haven't interacted them much yet. I highly recommend him and his staff. Excellent doctor and I had been a patient for several years, had a lapse, now I'm considered a 'new patient' and they won't see me even though all I need is a five minute visit to update my meds.

Dr. Fitzhugh is a great doctor! He is the only one that has been able to keep me in line... Spends as much time as I need with him. Is honest and doesn't hold back with me. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years and wont ever change doctors!

Without a doubt, the best of the best...

When you first walk into Dr Fitzhughs office you are checked in by such a caring and sweet non judgemental person that has been Dr Fitzhugh receptionist for years Jessica she immediately makes you feel at ease and comfortable. Dr Fitzhugh I really can't say enough about!! He is not only a great doctor he is great person in so many ways!!!! He actually cares about you it's not just words!! You leave his office feeling that someone really cared about you then and how you will BE!!!! Dr Fitzhugh has always been there for myself and my family when we were in such desperation not knowing what to do except cry he would be there for us and I will ALWAYS THANK GOD for him being the doctor that he is but most of all being the WONDERFUL EXTREMELY FUNNY COMPASSIONATE CARING PERSON THAT HE IS!!!!!!! Went to see Dr Fitzhugh In 2007 and he was the most down to earth and caring psychiatrist I ever had in my life.. He says it how it is and keeps it real. He goes out of his way to help you even when he didn't have to and that meant alot to me..

I can't say enough about how refreshing it was to find a doctor like Dr. Fitzhugh. He is more than just a doctor, he is a compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable person who uses humor as part of his treatment. Can't ask for more than that from someone who hears negativity all day, every day. All doctors, no matter what their practice, should have Dr. Fitzhugh's disposition and approach to helping patients. And, his receptionist was just as animated and friendly!!!

It's impossible to get a call back from them, don't waste your time and just call a different doctor. I left several messages asking for a call back and I've never heard back now in several weeks. Very poor office apparently so I wouldn't trust them to return calls when in need.
