Dr. Carlini is a very good Doctor, I have recommended him to a couple of friends.

I waited 3 months for my referral to be approved for a non-stop headache, then got scheduled 1 more month out. I got in earlier on the cancellation list. It seemed too much time , but I am happy with Dr Carlini

Professional care

Dr. Carlini listened well to my concerns and did his own physical assessment as I was handed off to him recently by my Dr who left the practice. He wasn't well studied on my case but in all fairness I got a cancellation appointment so he didn't have notice of my appointment. He took time to ask me questions and he answered them all and offered help with medication for one of my concerns that needed addressing.

Dr. Carlini is a very knowledgeable doctor. He has helped me with my migraines to the point where I don't have to go to the Emergency Room any more....Good guy.

I saw Dr. Carlini to discuss whether my problem was neurological and learned it is not. Dr. Carlini took the time to recommend another specialist MD and to write a detailed referral to get me a quick appointment with this MD. Effort and care by Dr. Carlini above and beyond what was required. Much appreciated.

No bad experience

Dr didn't seem to concerned with my concerns . Already had his mind made up . Didn't care that I was an individual, just another sheep in the herd . So matter of fact ,very little compassion

Physician is well educated, experienced, and knowledgeable but overworked and understaffed. The staff is underpaid. Too many bean counters and metrics to satisfy.

I think the doctor Carlini is very sharp about providing care for my MS. I also like that he's involved in studies dealing with treatments of MS.

Dr. Walter Carlini is the best neurologist in the Rogue Valley and honestly in Oregon and probably on the West Coast. He is thorough, brilliant, and if he doesn't know immediately what is wrong, he will search until all methods are exhausted, and he either finds a diagnosis, or can send you to some one who can. I trust him with my life.

Dr Carlini helped with another issue other than the tremor that I came to see him regarding . Advised me to reach out to my primary care physician at home regarding one med I take that could possibly be cause of a different issue I am having. I returned home mentioned it to primary care and we are already titrate off the med to see if it will help Dr. Carlini is very observerant and knowledgeable. I appreciate and respect him highly

I was amazed that dr Carlini spent a whole hour going over my issue. He explained things in a very understandable way. He was very kind and considerate to my wife and I. It's been my experience that many times when dealing with a doctor who has as much education as dr Carlini has, sometimes ego gets in the way. I could not have ask for a better experience than I had with dr Carlini.

Provider was very knowledgeable but too busy to answer all questions. It took about 3 months to get an appointment for daily migraines. Much too long.

Reading some of these poisonous reviews prompted me to leave my own opinion of Dr. Carlini and how he has handled my situation from the first day we met. When I was diagnosed with PD in 2014 by a Dr. Sullivan I immediately found myself thrust into the first of 5 stages of grief (where anger and denial take hold), but luckily with the partnership of Dr. Carlini and my wife, I quickly navigated through all 5 stages to where I am today, in the wonderful world of Acceptance.Obviously, some of these review writers need to find a way to move on with life, their new life with Parkinson’s. If you are looking for a sweet, kindly old doc who sits there and holds your hand, well! Dr. Carlini is not your guy. If you are looking for a guy who is laser focused on you, your prognosis and your treatable journey through life with PD, then you need not look any further. For crying out loud folks, look at his credentials. When my original neurologist retired I was given a choice of a few specialists for my referral. I asked Dr. Sullivan (my original neurologist) who he would pick if he were in my shoes. He replied that if I wanted some nice and cuddle doc to hold my hand and wipe away my tears, then Carlini wasn’t the man for me. But, if I wanted a doctor who is as proactive as I was in regards to research and development and lives on the cutting edge of science, then Dr Walter Carlini was the one he would select. I ve been with the good doctor Carlini ever since and now having PD for over 7 years, I am I doing much better then expected…praise God! Really would have loved to give a review after seeing Dr. Carlin, unfortunately he wouldn't even see me because he didn't like my MRI that was taken at Sky Lakes. No explanation of why he didn't just order a new one which is common with referrals anyway, and no phone call to me explaining the problem. Meanwhile symptoms are worsening and I am caught in a paper trail he'll between the hospital, my Primary and Dr. Carlin. Dr carlini has a terrible bedside manner and is convinced he knows more about you and your symptoms than you do. Granted he knows more about medicine but he also thinks he knows your experiences and refuses to listen.

“Doctor” Carlini is a hack, at best! I was given a referral to see him in ‘09 for a few tight muscles in my right rear thigh. I left with a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease and new prescriptions. I was then promptly added to HIS study for the drug Azalec to “slow the progression.” Little did I know that the new symptoms I had were caused by the Parkinson’s medications. The medications cause Parkinsonism in people that do not have Parkinson’s Disease. This made me appear to have a suddenly worsening case of Parkinson’s Disease. By the way, I was 32 years old! 8 years later I had to stop the medications due to insurance issues and my symptoms seemed to slowly improve! Fast forward to 2020 and I am sent back to Carlini and he is mad at me! Tarnished his record maybe. He then tells the er doc that my seizures are more than likely fake and I should be treated as psych. The man ruined my life and the lives of my family and he is blaming me! I read his old notes from ‘09, I showed no symptoms

In 2009 when I was 30 years old “Dr” Carlini diagnosed me as having Parkinson’s Disease after seeing him about a tight light muscle. Well, Parkinson’s medication gives you Parkinsonism if you don’t have Parkinson’s making it appear like you do. He tricked me then entered me into HIS study on the drug Azalec. 8 years later I have to come off my meds due to insurance issues and my “condition” seems to improve! Fast forward to 2020 and I am having seizures and am, unknown to me, given a referral to see Carlini again. He gets mad at ME for the diagnosis and then tells my Dr that Improbably am not having real seizures and I should be treated as psych. This is for no other reason that he is upset that he flubbed a diagnosis in order to widen his pool of research candidates! He ruined my life and lives of my family!

DR Carlini Lied to me about the results of a brain MRI. He told me that the MRI was completely normal but I actually had a small tumor called a meningioma. Because he was not honest I have been suffering from constant headaches and vision problems. I recently had another MRI which shows the tumor has grown to almost an inch. Now I have to surgery. Don't put your trust in him

Dr. Carlini is a magnificent Neurologist. My wife and I went through hell trying to figure out what was going on with my wife. Having hit every urgent care and hospital in the area trying to find a doctor that knew what was going on with my wife, having him step into the room and with an air of authority, inform us that our worst fear weren't true but instead what she had was treatable and a full recovery was not out of the question.

Dr. C was super he was not only knowledgeable and efficient but he was polite and explained things in terms I could understand. I would definitely recommend him to others
