Dr. Walter Douglas Boyd

From the first day we met doctor Boyd, during the test, to the day of surgery! He explained everything to us, and walked with us through it all, very knowledgeable at cardio. When the surgery was over he came out into the waiting room and explained everything to me. We prayed for and with doctor Boyd. My husband is home now and recovering well, thank you Jesus and thank you for leading us to doctor Boyd…..

On January 11, 2023 a heart catherization revealed 80-95% blockages in three main arteries in my heart. We met with Dr. Douglas Boyd. My wife and I were very impressed with him as he explained how important is was to go forward with bypass graph surgery. He was very caring, professional and soft spoken as he explained the procedure in detail. We felt comfortable with the decision to go forward with the much needed surgery. We were very impressed with Dr. Boyd and his team. Everyone did an excellent, first class job. My surgery was on January 13, 2023. Every aspect of the procedure and my recovery could not have gone better. I was scheduled to be discharged in 7 days, but was able to recover so well the time was shortened to 5. I will always be thankful to our Heavenly Father for the amazing work Dr. Boyd and his staff did to repair my serious heart condition. It's now been 8 weeks since the surgery and I feel so much better. No more angina! HalleluYAH!

I’m about to leave the hospital from dr Boyd doing a robotic bypass on my heart only 3 days ago. He’s a fantastic doctor who actually prayed with my wife and I in his office. He’s open and honest with you and very much cares about the health of his patients. I highly recommend him if you need heart surgery!!

Dr. Boyd was great on my open heart surgery. I reckon mind him to who ever needs heart surgery.

great bedside manner, put everything in terms / words that my wife and I could understand. Excellent Surgeon . Follow up visits to my room, and when i went to his office for my checkup, the same compassion for my well being , stood out. I want to thank you again , Sir.

Dr. Boyd is an outstanding heart surgeon and performed my open heart surgery/ mitral valve repair flawlessly, with a minimal scar and quicker recovery time. As well as being very talented, he has a great bedside manner and took the time to explain all the different possibilities to me. I am incredibly pleased with the outcome of my surgery.
