Wonderful experience and wonderful Dr. I would recommend Dr.Boomer, he's the best. I had Zephyr valves placed and perfect!!!

Went to dr boomer one time. Ha set up a test to have done. Waited two weeks no test. Called office and war told something happened and needed to go to different hospital for test. Did test on November 18. Waited two weeks called office to check. Was told when they had something for me they would call me. Said no need to call office until I heard from them. I was referred to Dr. Boomer by my primary care provider to be assessed for a disability due to my employer starting an interactive ADA process with me. The staff are friendly; however, there were several issues with the appointment. 1) Dr. Boomer didn't discuss my reason for the appointment until we discussed his position on science and politics (climate change specifically). 2) He failed to address the disability issue properly. 3) He attempted to put me on a medication that not only doesn't work for me, but causes serious side effects. His staff tried to force the issue with me too. I do not recommend him.

Went to office with my disabled daughter. Her case is complicated so I brought a written medical history. We went to office 30 min before scheduled appointment and filled out all office forms about her condition. We waited 90 min in the waiting room!! There was only one other patient in waiting room. My daughter became ill and needed medication and oxygen in waiting room and could only whisper due to throat spasm. I asked that she be seen right away. The doctor sat at the desk and could see us in the room but showed no concern and waited for the nurse who was very kind to do respirometer. Dr Boomer finally came in and started asking my daughter who was in distress what her history was. I told him her history was in her chart. He said he wanted to hear history from my daughter who could only whisper. I realized that he was too lazy to read the history and the office forms we provided. He never talked to my daughter's primary care or reviewed any if her records. Unprofessional!

My Wife goes here when she's feeling sick because he's the only pulmonologist close to us which is lucky for him because he is not great. Shows up to work whenever. Your appointment will never be on time.

I was given a Covid 19 test that was expired at his Respircare clinic

I saw Dr Boomer at the Respircare location. Office is very clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and professional. The wait time was appropriate. Dr Boomer addressed all of my concerns and spent enough time to answer my questions.

Dr. Boomer asked me ONE medical question during the whole appointment and didn't even respond to that! He walked out of the room continuing to talk about himself as he had the whole appointment. I thought sure he was coming back as he hadn't even told me about tests that I just took when I got there. Waited awhile. Finally called out to desk and they said he was finished and with another patient. Will NEVER return to him.

Horrible doctor. Do not waste your money or time. Horrible nurses. I was sent to him after the St.Francis emergency room sent me for a ct scan and found a huge mass on my lung. At the e.r. they told me they had reason to believe it was a malignant tumor because of the size. Immediately he suggested surgery and admitted that he is just aggressive with treatment. We asked for something less invasive and had a biopsy, wich came back negative. Then he recommends a new ct scan so we pay more money just to come back to dr.boomer who told me and my wife that it hasn't spread but he cant tell if its getting bigger or not after 3 months. So he wanted a bronchoscopy done. Me and my wife agreed this doesn't make sense, this guy is not listening to our questions, after reffering us to another St.Francis "specialty ct scan" and just telling us its "it hasnt spread but we cant really tell if its grown", is just sending us in circles. So we asked not to go through with the bronchoscopy and to keep up with the ct scans to make sure its not spreading or growing and that must have ticked him off because they just flat dropped us after all the time and money we spent will not return me or my wife's messages we've left over and over because if a nurse does pick up the phone we get put on hold till we get a disconnected signal. Dr. Boomer and Dr. Shell bar are amazing doctors who know what they are doing. No nonsense all business professionals.

Dr. Boomer has been my Pulmonary Doctor for about 20 years. He's knowledgeable and actually cares. Melissa works closely with him to ensure the best care possible. I would go no place else! i seen Dr Boomer in July 2017 for a lung check i had a pet scan showed 2 nodes in rt. (RT) lung he was told to do a bio. of Rt lung he on his own to go down my throat while i was out and of all things went into the Lt lung his report read NO spots or nodes in LT lung he would not even come out and talk to me or my wife! why LT instead of Rt the dr. said thats crazy now we have to get permission from Insurance again to run same test over like he%%. well again in Oct 0f 2017 got permission i told medicare not to pay and my subsidy ins. but october got Dr in st. francis to do it going thru Rt side did biopsi definate cancer but from July till oct was wasted cause of this so called Dr. He doesnt know his lt from his rt. he" s suppose to have a college education must be he failed that course I WOULDNT EVER GO TO HIM AGAIN EVEN IF HE WAS THE LAST DR.

Very professional and helpful. Doctor Boomer listened and explained what I needed to do to improve my lung condition . Recommend him highly

My mother has been his patient for many years and he has always been honest and forthright about her condition. COPD is a long term condition that has naturally deteriorated but he has always been there to tell us what changes can be made to better her condition. She has lived with COPD for over ten (10) years. Our whole family believes she is in good hands.

Extremely disappointed with Dr. Boomer’s lack of sensitivity as his office admitted my stepdad to St. Francis Hospital for a procedure. We checked in at 10:00 Am and the nurses never received orders from the Doctor until well after 3:00pm. My poor stepdad had fasted and because no one knew what the Doctor’s order were, the nurses wouldn’t let him eat. The Dr. Boomer never came to introduce himself, never made a visit, and after being held in the hospital from 10:00Am to 7:00pm, we had to ask the hospital manager to call Dr. Boomer to please put the discharge papers in because no one was aware of why he admitted my stepdad in the first place. In short, Dr. Boomer and his office must have had a disconnect in communication, Dr. Boomer was too proud to apologize for the inconvenience, and he even admitted he didn’t know how to write up discharge papers. Go figure! Avoid this incompetent doctor-his inexcusable behavior is an embarrassment to the medical profession.

Dr Boomer is awful. I’ll never let him touch me again. And I don’t recommend him . Find another Dr I am . He removed fluid off my lung and didn’t give me enough pain medicine and I felt every bit if it the pain was extremely painful. And the planting of the nuggets for cyber knife I poked a hole in my lung and lung collapsed some and as outpatient was admitted over night. Please consider another doctor. Thanks

Not great with home health for patients that need home health.

I took my high school age son with severe asthma to see mark boomer. He accused my son of being on Drugs. He’s never touched a single drug. But it gets worse. On the second visit, he left my son & me in the exam room for over an hour and a half. I’m pretty sure he went to lunch & left us waiting. It was very clear that he was trying to get rid of us. He’s is a rude, arrogant, pompous cad who is full of himself. He’s a huge waste of time. Don’t see him!!!

I would recommend Dr Boomer to anyone with a lung problem he's a very good Dr and he has a great bedside manor hes so nice and he's help me with my Asthma and other lung problems for almost 11 years and everyone that works there are friendly and courteous as well.

I had been to four different doctors before I went to Dr. Boomer. He listened carefully to my health problems, asked pertinent questions and prescribed medication that helped my condition. I'm thankful that he was recommended to me.
