Excellent Dr. and care from all employees.

Dr. Ma is amazing She talked me off the ledge of being so petrified of the procedure. She explained exactly what was going to have happen. I highly recommend her. She is efficient, professional and through.

The best GI I have ever had.

I recently called the office of Dr. Ma to respond to a letter they sent me to make an appointment. I have new insurance and I was told that the ONLY way they could verify my insurance was if I FAXED a photo of my insurance card. I offered to email a photo of my insurance card, but they would not accept that. I then offered to verbally give her my insurance information, & that is unaccepted too.

I’m sorry for the harshness, but I have to be honest…. Dr. Ma and their staff DO NOT CARE. Go to a physician that actually cares about their patient. The rudeness starts from the receptionist and goes all the way through the staff to Dr. Ma. I really don’t mean to be mean, but basic customer service is nonexistent in that office. I’ve caught them in a few lies so beware.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. All goes well until you need something. Dr. Ma or her staff will never help or assist in helping you resolve an issue. Appointment, procedure, then on to the next is how they operate.

Please note after calling Dr. Wai Li Ma's office to schedule an appointment based on a referral from my general doctor, I was informed that they take NO patients who are on medicare. I was quite surprised and stated, "Well since medicare is required by anyone turning 65, I guess that means you accept NO senior citizens." I advised them I have supplemental insurance. Again the response was no appointment. That was the end of my experience with this office/Doctor. FYI!

AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS! SHE WILL NOT SEE YOU IF YOU WENT TO ANOTHER GI DOCTOR WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS!!! WHY IS IT WRONG TO GET A SECOND OPINION? WHAT IS SHE HIDING??? THIS IS SO UNETHICAL I COULD PUKE... administrator so called bs, give me a break!!!!!!

I had a 6am appointment for a Colonoscopy with Dr. Wai Li Ma and arrived on time. I was prepped for my procedure and 2 hours later she still had not arrived. The office staff called her but she did not answer or return their calls. When I stated I think I should leave, they encouraged me and stated this happens quite frequently. I am appalled that a Doctor can get away with this. I would never go to her again nor would I recommend her to anyone. She wasted my time and made me go through hours the evening before of uncomfortable prep time. The office staff was nice and kind and professional.

Excellent physician-on time, thorough and caring

I was in Dr Ma office today (8-28-18). I was extremely happy & satisfied with all the wonderful staff & Dr Ma. Everyone was Very cordial and polite. That always makes an ill person comfortable. Thank you Tyra for assisting me with my appointment. Thank you all.

Great, very thorough doctor. However, she is ALWAYS running late, even at 7 am when you ate the first patient!

I have been with Dr. Ma for over 5 years and I find her so knowledgeable. She is the doctor to see if you have gastroenterology problems.

Front office staff friendly but doctor and medical assistant are borderline rude. Competence-seems fair. Not a big fan of this practice.

Do not come here if you need intermittent fmla......such a stressful experience....

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Ma or her office. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a GI doctor. Her staff has always been nice and helpful. Dr. Ma takes the time to go over all results and does not rush your appointment, she takes the time that is needed....

I have been a patient of Dr. Ma's for 10 years. She has shown herself to be a thorough, knowledgeable and caring doctor. She is able to explain her diagnosis in understandable terms; and she has been willing to take the necessary time to answer my questions, both pre and post-op.

I would never recommend this doctor. Not only is her beside manner questionable but her staff is horrible. When you aren't feeling good, you are looking for an office that lends support, not one that badgers you. This is definitely not the place to go if you are looking for help.

Please beware if you're making you 1st appt. Their staff takes all the insurance information but will not tell you if they accept it or not until you are done with 1st appointment and in process of scheduling your followup. This is when they tell you that they don't accept your insurance but you have to pay for your visit. Now you have to look for another Dr. and go through the same process. What upsets me is they don't really care if they wasted your time long as they get paid.

My husband called to schedule an appointment and a very rude receptionist Karen answered the phone. She rushed him off the phone and hung up on him when he was asking questions regarding a potential appointment. I then called back and proceeded to ask questions, she gave answers that made no sense and could not explain thoroughly the doctors policy regarding the acceptance of new patients. Karen needs to re-evaluate her attitude and demeanor on the phone as it is a reflection of the doctor.

Dr. Ma is great and I felt very comfortable with her. I agree with other reviewers - her staff do not seem to be interested in helping you. I can't decide it if just because they are you and most likely inexperienced or need better training or really don't care. It could definitely be a detriment to Dr. Ma's practice.

I would never recommend this doctor, they will not see you as a patient if you have ever seen another Gasto doctor. According to Jessica in the office, this is their policy and if we wanted to see Dr Ma then we should have contacted her first. I asked to speak to the office manager and she had just left and I was not allowed to leave a message. The office staff was very rude and they could care less about a patient with an issue.. This was very disappointing, doctors are suppose to care...

Did not have a chance to meet Dr. Ma. I was just calling in for a colonoscopy consultation earlier this month and the staff that answered my call is such a rude person to talk to. That is why I ended up looking for another doctor.

Dr. Ma is wonderful at listening and explaining her plan of treatment. I have had 2 colonoscopies and 3 endoscopies performed by Dr. Ma. She was wonderful, kind, and caring.

Dr. Ma was the physician I used for my colonoscopy. From start to finish, it was smooth sailing. Dr. Ma is very professional and knowledgeable. The procedure was done at Southern Hills Hospital. Very short wait time from when I got there until I had the colonoscopy done. Hospital staff was very friendly as well.
