Dr. Wahab Brobbey

This doctor dismissed me and every other doctor I work with - his arrogance knows no bounds. I cannot believe Advocate has him as the only infection doctor especially since if he does allow you to go home on meds, he owns the provider company! He maybe be all knowing but I'd rather work with someone who listens and cares.

My last visit was a video visit. I waited over an hour for the visit to start. I should have hung up. We only had a short visit with little discussion. I had been on antibiotics until last October. I had had a knee infection. Dr. Brobbey then told me I was dismissed. My three visits with him have been all video. My previous doctor retired. I saw her in the office. I will go to see my primary doctor.

Dr. Brobbey is a phenomenal Dr who has been wonderful to have on my side thru this very difficult time. He tells you just the way it is and doesn't sugar coat anything. Thank you Dr. Brobbey for being there when I need you.

I too felt like Dr. Brobbey was trying to disprove my original diagnosis. I felt he was dismissive and brushed my illness and suffering aside, even though I arrived with a fever and could barely walk into the exam room. He seems to focus only on the concept of "if you traveled out of the country" - the obvious infectious disease circumstances. I told him I pulled a tick off of me, and he was dismissive again, even tho IL is a highly endemic area. I was not impressed.

How fortunate I am to be treated with professional, knowledgeable, experienced, honest, compassionate, genuine and friendly Dr. & medical care team. They all feel that my conditions and health is the most important thing and that is extremely comforting. The entire staff is always professional and caring. I am always seen/treated in a timely manor. I can be myself. Timely follow-ups & answers all my questions. I am truly blessed with this medical care team and know I have the very best!

This doctor does not want to hear about anything that the patient is experiencing. In fact, he tries to disprove your symptoms. Very condescending and does not give you the feeling that a serious illness is being treated with the patient in mind.
