Both Dr. Williams & his staff have performed beyond my expectations. Everyone was friendly and reassuring during my radiation treatments. There were never any rushed visits and all my questions were fully and understandably answered. I would likely have quit the radiation regime if it weren't for the support they provided.

I felt like I won the lottery after my oncologist referred me to Dr. Williams. From the very beginning, he made me feel at ease by explaining in detail the treatment that he was recommending for me. He explained the step by step process of the planning and implementation of the treatment. He was always upbeat about my progress, and he gave me the confidence I needed to meet the process head on. I’m so thankful for the care and treatment that I have received from this exceptional physician and his staff. When going through a cancer battle, Dr. Williams is the person you want on your team!

Cancer treatment is something no one ever wants to experience. I underwent 35 rounds of radiation treatment prescribed by Dr. Williams. I have had a positive outcome as we are 3.5 years post treatment. Dr. Williams was very thorough in his explanations and expectations prior to, during and post treatment. He never rushed through our visits and we had detailed conversations. He even called me on a Sunday to check on an issue that turned out to be unrelated to my cancer or treatment. I could not be more satisfied with the care I received by Dr. Williams and all of the staff at Northside Cancer Center.

I can’t say enough to express my gratitude to Dr. Williams. He saved two family members…one with lung cancer, and another with metastatic breast cancer. He is the best, AND his personality and great sense of humor compliment his knowledge and expertise. Awesome Doctor.

Dr. Williams is a brilliant doctor and an amazing oncologist. I feel lucky to have him on my team and can only convey my highest recommendation. He is able to formulate a precise treatment plan and communicate it with clarity and insightfulness. He can discuss the current prognosis in a way that is easy to understand. He also will discuss any concerns that may happen in the future as a result of the recommended treatment plan. His actions dictate that your care comes first as he always finds a way to meet with you routinely throughout the treatment to monitor your progress. This level of knowledge, dedication and service also flows through to his entire office – the front desk, the nursing staff, and the technicians all embody a level of care and expert knowledge that is reassuring. From the moment you enter until the time you leave, there is a tremendous sense that you are in phenomenal hands. I could not imagine a better group to trust my health with.

Dr. Williams treated me for both Prostate and Jaw cancers. I had a total of 69 treatments over a 3-1/2 month period. It was a very trying time for me and my family. From the time of the initial consultation, it was very apparent that not only did he have a vast knowledge and experience with treating both types of cancers but, he had already spent a tremendous amount of time planning out my treatments, he was very forthright and caring. He took the time to explain, in detail, the challenges and difficulties I was getting ready to endure, especially with the jaw cancer treatments. While I knew the treatments were going to be challenging, he gave me a sense of confidence that he would get me through it. From the front desk to the treatment technicians, he and his entire staff were compassionate, caring, well trained and always friendly. I am so happy I chose Dr. Williams and would HIGHLY recommend he and his entire staff to anyone requiring similar treatments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilfred Hamilton Williams since October 2018. I received six weeks of radiation therapy for throat cancer at the Northside Hospital facility on Johnson Ferry Road in Atlanta, and have been seeing Dr. Williams periodically since that time for follow-up examinations. Although it was a stressful time, Dr. Williams made me feel that I was in the very best place for my treatment. I first saw Dr. Williams in 2012. While at an afternoon office visit, my oncologist called Dr. Williams and Dr. Williams told him to send me to his office and he would wait on me. He started making plans for my treatment right then. That doesn't happen often. When another problem arose nine years later, I didn't hesitate to call Dr. Williams. A second time, he has helped save my life. He has a straight forward, direct approach. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Williams has been my radiation oncologist since 2019, and he is one of the finest doctors that I have had in my 70 plus years. He is extremely knowledgeable, very precise and friendly, and takes all the time one needs to know what's going on with each patient! I highly recommend him!

When you are involved in cancer treatment, you need many kinds of services, and where you get them depends on your doctor. With Dr. Williams, you get Northside Hospital. I had nothing but good experiences with their radiation techs, their nutritionist, their speech and swallowing therapists, and their medical oncologist. Dr. Williams was at the center of all this, making sure I understood what was happening and why I needed these other people. Of course, he was the one who designed my radiation therapy, and I had great results. This form of cancer manifests itself in very different ways, and different people react differently, but I feel confident that Dr. Williams' experience will help you find the best course of treatment for your particular case.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hamilton Williams for just over five years. I was referred to him by my urologist. My PSA was starting to swing the wrong way and my urologist and I both felt that I needed to take some measures to have it checked out. Dr. Williams made me feel so comfortable about my situation. After checking everything, he advised that I should “watch and wait” before starting any type of treatment. This went on for 3 years until he and my urologist both agreed it was time to take action on my cancer. He explained every step of the process and made me extremely comfortable about what I was about to embark on. His staff at Northside Hospital was outstanding. Each and every one of them was so encouraging while I was receiving my treatments. I would see Dr. Williams every Friday for a check in to see how I was feeling and if I was having any side effects. He was “great.” He was always very positive and encouraging. I could not have asked for anything more.

No one is better at what he does and how he helps you eliminate cancer.

I had my surgery February 2018, Dr. Williams never gave me that uncomfortable feeling that I expected while making preparations dealing with cancer. He never allowed me to feel as if this Monster was going to defeat me or metastasize, and of course I didn't believe him though I wanted to. He saved my life, and was always willing to answer my questions as I was extremely anxious about not just the surgery but also the treatment after my surgery and the side effects-which I had none. He never mislead me nor gave me false hopes. In fact the entire staff from beginning to present day have always been very pleasant, helpful, courteous, professional and caring. I am very happy to have chosen Dr. Hamilton to treat me and give me the confidence to have my life and enjoy life after dealing with cancer.

I had a 9 week, daily radiation treatment for PC. Dr. Williams and his team planned and carried the treatment to perfection. His team is cheerful and competent and make what is basically an unpleasant experience bearable. He is friendly, approachable and supportive. It could not have gone better and my outcome is as good as it can be - PSA non-detectable.

Dr Williams was recommended to me by another physician as someone he highly qualified to treat my cancer. Nevertheless, I did my own research to confirm his impressive credentials. Well, number one, he saved my life. Dr. Williams has always listened to my concerns and answered questions patiently-even when super busy. I always felt cared for and not like a number. He's also encouraged me to seek other forms of care and referred me when necessary. Overall he went above and beyond and I'll actually miss seeing him and his staff.

A cancer diagnosis does not make for a good day but the future days are much better if you have a physician providing care like Dr. Williams. Dr Hamilton Williams Radiation Oncologist I was diagnosed with my second round of prostate cancer in May 2020 just after the Covid-19 shut down. I researched the doctors in the Atlanta area and even had an appointment scheduled with MDA in TX before I selected Dr Williams and his team (front desk to radiation specialist). He recommended 8 weeks of radiation for my situation. I went to a medical oncologist for a second opinion as I thought the treatment was too aggressive. The second opinion confirmed the treatment was needed. Dr Williams and his team made me feel comfortable and confident they had my best interest in mind. I had 39 treatments over 8 weeks. In that time, I got to know the Dr and his entire staff well. I did feel like they were there for me, they really cared. They answered my questions and kept me informed with any appointment changes. A few months ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and completed five weeks of radiation treatment, followed by seeds implanted. I want to share my experience. The radiation procedures were performed at Northside Hospital Department of Radiation Oncology, Atlanta. First, the staff there are amazing. Besides being very professional, they are amazingly caring and compassionate! Each time I went during my 25 radiation treatments, “my team” greeted me with a big smile and encouragement. Everyone there is a special person! Second, my doctor, Dr. Hamilton Williams, took a personal interest in me and gave me total confidence that everything would be OK and that I would be fine once the procedures were complete. He went the “extra mile". In the process he became as much a friend as a physician. Because of Dr. Williams and the entire Northside Radiation Oncology staff there was never a question that I would not get through this and recover. They are great!

Dr. Williams saw me less than 24 hours after I was diagnosed with a somewhat uncommon head & neck cancer. He arranged treatment immediately. He described all the issues associated with radiation therapy. Before my treatment began, I knew what to expect in terms of side effects. The staff at Northside is excellent and they endeavor to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Dr. Williams is a former Army medical officer with an understanding of veterans' issues. He understands Agent Orange related disease and I expect that he is aware of Burn Pit related diseases that affect the latest generation of veterans. Veterans should consider Dr. Williams a resource.

Dr. Williams treated me for lung cancer. He reviewed my case and recommended stereotactic radiation. A year and a half later, I am happy to report I am still clear. Dr. Williams is thorough, concerned and determined to find the right treatment. I trust him completely with my care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for four years. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, receiving radiation for the initial cancer, later to area where it had metastasized. Then again to an area that was operated on. Dr. Williams worked closely with my oncologist and neurologist in this endeavor to achieve a positive outcome. He is an excellent hands on Physician, positive and upbeat, thorough, as well as kind and compassionate.

I recommend without reservation. I've been a patient for four years and have had successful treatment. This is what everyone needs to read and experience if possible. Know your situation, ask questions and expect clear answers. I never left a consultation with unanswered questions and occasionally having been told that I was entirely mistaken about what was occurring.

I was extremely lucky to have been referred to Dr. Williams by my chemo oncologist. He is straight forward in telling you what to expect. He was the most encouraging of my doctors involved in my treatments. Always positive, and that is just what I needed to keep going through these difficult treatments. Frankly, I think he is the best.

Dr. Williams has the entire package: Very positive, knowledgeable, does not play with cancer and kills it, and he will design the correct and effective cancer treatment. Please do not look for any other oncologist.

Dr. Williams has been my radiation oncologist for the past nine years after my diagnosis of prostate cancer. From the beginning of treatments until now, long after PSA tests show no evidence of the cancer, Dr. Williams has been extremely helpful in keeping me informed in detail of the situation. I certainly recognize him as an exceptional doctor of radiation oncology, and a person who I have highly recommended to others.

I have just finished my radiation treatment after surgery for cancer. Dr.. Williams and especially the staff at the Northside facility off Old Milton Pkwy were excellent. They met me every day (5 days a week) with a smile and sincere kindness and exceptional professionalism. Just what one needs and appreciates to get through this process.

My experience with Dr. Williams goes back to 2013. I've been extremely pleased that he was recommended as my radiation oncologist among the team that I so desperately needed. Surviving for 3 years since my treatment and receiving great results, I know that he has played an extremely vital part in my treatment and survival. He has always addressed every issue or question that I may have raised. Because of his knowledge, expertise and humanity he has shown me, I'm eternally grateful.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Williams with my experience with him regarding post prostate cancer surgery. He supervised my radiation therapy. It is now a year and a half since completing my radiation and the results have been very positive.
