Dr. Vladimir Rankovic

I had an appointment with Dr Rankovic back in December. I was in the hospital and had to reschedule it took over 2 months for an appointment. Day of appointment I had a couple of appointments got to Dr Rankovic office for a 12:15pm appointment. Was sitting in the waiting room and heard 2 other people had a appointment with Dr Rankovic at 12:15pm. I got there before my scheduled time and wasted 45 minutes waiting for an appointment I didn't get to keep. I had to leave because I had another important doctor's appointment. The office called me 3x to confirm but never called afterwards to reschedule. Guess they don't care about people just what money they can get.

Top-line doctors .care for patient comfort and .superb attention he rather to make less money than make patients uncomfortable with the unnecessary procedure. He rush his nurses to schedule procedure as soon as possible

Excellent...Personable...& Professional & NO pain

I was taken to JFK Medical Center with a very low pulse. It was termed that I had Bradycardia. After one day in the hospital and reviewing the test results it was determined that I needed a pacemaker. Dr Rankovic was at my side at 7pm on that Saturday night. He knew that he could schedule me for surgery on Monday morning. He also said that he would try to assemble a team to implant the pacemaker the following morning which was Sunday. Within an hour he called my room to let me know that we were on for Sunday 9:30am. Dr. Rankovic gave up his Sunday morning to attend to my needs. The surgery went great and I feel wonderful. Thank you Dr Rankovic. I feel blessed.

Can not get in touch with office or doctor.. no follow up after surgery. Not the kind of doctor or office you want working on your heart. My father has been in horrible pain since his surgery and without seeing him they claim it’s normal. We won’t even get into the day of his surgery ... just horrible. There is just so much you can blame on covid! It’s become an excuse for poor doctoring.

Worst office staff EVER!!!

Extremely competent. Explains procedures and options in great detail and has a great bedside manner. He even provided his personal e-mail for contact after the ablation procedures. He corrected a very unusual atrial fibrillation problem which has allowed me to resume my previous athletic lifestyle completely with no more medications. Very highly recommended.

First visit was to schedule surgery, waited 2 hrs to see the doctor. Did not not see him immediately before or after surgery. 2nd visit, waited 2 hrs for a nurse to check my blood pressure and a tech to check my defibrillator and then another nurse to tell me I had one more visit. Last visit: 15 min. wait for a nurse to check my blood pressure, then a tech to check my defibrillator. I was told the doctor would see me. Waited one hr. and no show. When I left, the checkout person asked if I wanted to reschedule. The tone of voice sounded like a common occurrence. My answer to a reschedule was "No, I'm done." The one star was mandatory.

Top shelf doctor and a tremendously wise and patient listener. His patients really do matter to him, and he lets you know it. Such a comforting feeling to know I was receiving his full effort. The man is a Godsend. He worked with my cardiologist flawlessly. Everything went fine. 1 year follow up was a pleasure. His office is responsive-excellent

He’s a wonderful Dr. with a great bedside manner. He thoroughly explains what he needs to do, options, and afterward what was done, any issues, etc. He never speaks down, but treats you as an equal. He keeps up with and talks about new and upcoming technologies. He also appears to have boundless energy.

Dr. Rankovic saved my life back in January. Now I'm hoping he can help save my husband's life too.

Dr. Rankovic is the best of the best. He has the greatest bedside manner; demonstrates greatest quality in everything he does from procedures to educating the patient on his or her condition. Dr. Rankovic is a doctor's doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Rankovic.

Dr. Rankovic is the most caring patient doctor I have ever had the pleasure to be treated by. He sits down with you, explains the treatment and takes his time with you. If you are having any Cardiac issues, I would recommend him every time!

I have had two flutter ablations done by Dr. Rankovic, the first did not take completely, the 2nd did. He also implanted a pacemaker one day after I experienced a fainting situation, and although he was fully booked for the day, he managed to squeeze my procedures in. I am a pretty skittish patient, but he instilled confidence in me, and I was comfortable with having all the procedures he recommended. He is very personable and caring, and I would highly recommend him.
